Why? Because you said it? Because it's a jew joke?

You know who else joked about jew wives?

I think it is because he said it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to be racist, so you know so he can say whatever he wants then and it isn't racist

Similar to like saying with all due respect, you can then just say whatever you want

  2. and completely ignores the occurrence of random events that frequently make ppl sick to no fault of their own whatsoever

bad idea by the fraud chef

What are you even talking about? Seeing as kids are covered on their parents insurance until 26 (I believe that is what it is now) they would be on insurance up to that point where they can make the choice to cover themselves or not. It would be up to them if they want to risk it or not. With the way medical stuff is nowadays I personally cant see someone not wanting to be on insurance but if they choose not to that is their right.

  3. because sometimes people will volunteer to work OT in lieu of getting a 2nd job to earn some extra cash for beer, hobbies, vacations and such.

getting a few hours off the following week doesn't buy a case of beer.

It would be the employees choice if they want PTO or overtime pay, not the employers, at least that is how I understand it

  4. So according to the article the Dems are opposed as they think employers will limit when the employee could use said PTO, well shouldn't that be the issue and not the bill itself? Shouldn't there be a law that protects the employees right to use PTO? I get black out periods, but if those are explicitly stated at the beginning of a year, then the employee is aware of when they can and cant use their earned time so if they opt for the PTO what is the deal?

  5. Well, Carroll is one of the best coaches and smartest guys in the league, and had TEN TONS of experience before getting the Seahawks job. So if McDermott is one of the best coaches in the league and knows personnel, too, with zero experience, then we'll be great!

I think the bolded is hindsight, he was fired from NE and the Jets (IIRC on the Jets), a lot of people believed his success came at USC due to his recruiting which isn't an advantage in the pros, and he was 7-9 before they drafted Russell Wilson. Yes he did have experience though which I do not think should be undervalued and is a big advantage over McD

  6. Report: Brian Gaine interviewing for Bills G.M. job Thursday

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/03/report-brian-gaine-interviewing-for-bills-g-m-job-thursday/

"Gaine joined the Texans in 2014 after leaving the Dolphins when they hired Dennis Hickey as their General Manager. He’s interviewed for other G.M. openings in the last few years as well. He’s also worked for the Cowboys and the Jets."

Did not see this posted yet (could have been in more recent pages in this thread though) thought this thread would be good to put it in, if was posted previously all apologies

  7. Yeah I didn't like that match either. They try to get cinematic with Bray and channel Lucha Underground's unique presentation but it just comes out bad, like that Wyatt Family vs. New Day mess in the woods from months back (forget what it was called). Other than that I liked the show, Owens/Jericho and Aries/Neville were good, Alexa winning was awesome, Rollins keeps rolling and Roman loses. Enjoyed it

The Wyatt compound I think was the name of it, maybe since they got the Hardys there on Raw they can hopefully add to it and get that ship going in the right direction for the future.

  8. I watched it for a bit. The House Of Horrors match killed off my interest for anything afterwards. Just awful, IMO.

What I didn't realize (since I am on the east coast and the show was on the west coast) was that the filmed part was at night and then went to the arena and it was day time there. That would have completely blown my suspension of disbelief right away

I am excited to see what Bray and Finn do and how they bring up the demon with Finn

  9. Payback wasn't too bad, I had low expectations and they def exceeded those.

The house of horrors match - well the house part I thought was just right on the amount of campiness and ridiculousness (perfect for sports entertainment and was for a pg audience). I wish when Bray left the house and knelt that the house would have started on fire (maybe pg rated wouldn't allow this?) as it would have been a good full circle thing with getting back at Randy for burying Sister Abigails place down. Plus the shock of Randy being behind him would have been even greater.

I didn't like that they had the Bollywood boys and Jinder interfere (I get that they are moving on to that story and it is advancing that angle and gives them some heat) but why cant Bray ever just win clean? I guess I should just be happy that he has a "victory" as they usually make him lose important matches....

Braun demolishing RR was great, Sheamus knocking out Jeff Hardys tooth, man what a kick lol And I am a big Alexa fan so was happy to see her win and beat Charlotte to the first woman to hold both titles history spot

  10.

"Five long years, Doug, he wore this phone up his @$$. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the phone. I hid this uncomfortable piece of plastic up my @$$ for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the phone to you."

Just let me know if you get the reference.

    Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction?

  11. The man is (what would you call it) "unemployed".

If people want to pay $1,000 a seat to hear him talk, then that's their problem.

Should we want to stop a person from making $ because you don't like his policies or his Snake Oil pitch?

    Free Enterprise baby.

Oh I have no problem with him getting paid, if that's what was offered/negotiated more power to him. I think it does demonstrate though that his talk about Wall St was just to appease his voter base and I think it is worth noting

  12. I'm calling BS. Political Party has nothing to do with it. They all do it.

George W. Bush - Since leaving office, the former president has made more than $15 million in speaking fees, apparently charging between $100,000 and $150,000 per speech, according to reports and that was back in 2011.

Clinton before him and Bush Sr before him and Carter before him.

Look at what The Donald charges.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/washingtons-highest-lowest-speaking-fees/story?id=24551590#1

As the decades roll past the fees go up exponentially.

The topic of the OP is "being honest" is it not?

I think his post was meant more because O spent a lot of his term(s) bagging against the "fat cats" on Wall St and is now accepting their money to make a speech

  13.

This just seems to me to be another example of what Trump has done from the beginning - ramp up the rhetoric with an extreme proposal in the beginning, then softening his stance to get negotiations going. I honestly believe that you can interpret 80% of his proposals as being examples of this approach. That's why I went on record months ago with a "wait and see" attitude.

This is how I feel most of the time with him, he seems willing to negotiate on most things and takes a hard stance one way so that when they negotiate it comes closer to what he wanted originally

  14.

He's good but I don't think he's as great as people say.

I am kinda on this side, but I think it is mainly because people talked him up so much that I was inevitably going to be let down.

Was basically like this with Ibushi in the CWC too, he put on great matches but people were so in love with him and raving about him prior that I think I would have liked him more had people not been so over the moon and were more like this guy is legit

  15.

They're trying to build the hype before his first match. I would like to see what he can do in the ring as well, as I do not have the WWE Network (and obviously cannot watch NXT.) Everything I've read about him is that he is really good in the ring, so I do think that the wait will be worth it.

I think NXT is on hulu if you have that (although I am not sure how far that would go back) and his matches are good, if you can see his match with Sami Zayn it was awesome.

The match with Ziggler should be good, even though I am not a fan of the build up as Ziggler is a great worker and sells stuff really well so seeing him sell some of Nak's strikes and his finisher should be good.

Why I don't like the build up but kinda get it is that his English still needs a little work (I think Tozawa's is better) and I think by getting this crap out of the way, it kinda builds some sympathy up so people will be more lenient I think going forward. But Zigglers heeling def needs some work

i never watched whatever federation he was in, so i don't get the appeal of "shitstain"....i REALLY don't get the build up and why we are on week 3 or 4 and he still hasn't had a match....he better be worth the hype

My wife (not the biggest Nakamura fan) says his name sounds like shitstain too! I think perhaps going forward they should just refer to him as "Nakamura" maybe drop the first name like they did with Cesaro
