I am not in the Pro-Cousins camp, but I understand the merits of wanting a QB like him. I have nothing against him as a QB, but as I said under the Cousins thread, it doesn't make as much sense to me because of the money they'll need to spend. For me, I'd rather they Draft a QB and stay where they are in the Draft, use the same FA money to build the team around the QB, like Oline / WR / CB / TE and use the Draft for QB, LB, Dline, LB, WR and CB. To me, it makes more sense that way.

Having said that, presuming the Bills are "all in" on Cousins, giving the Foreskins TWO 1st round picks alone is far, far too much....giving them all the Draft capital they're asking for is a fire-able offense in my mind....that's a deal that SHOULD NEVER be made. If Foreskins want to trade Cousins, it should be more along the lines of 1st this year and a 3rd next year with a player like Hughes to complete the deal. That means the Bills essentially used a 1st on their QB, as they would if they drafted one, unloaded some FA money and gave the Foreskins an extra 3rd for giving Cousins to them before he hit the open market. Any other form of value, is not value....it's a crime, robbery.

I think you have the correct value assigned to him, if we do a trade and give up a little more im ok, but it better not be much more than what you described or we will have severely overpaid imo

This is what makes these reports for entertaimment only.

Not saying i believe everything he is saying but, I thought they could tag him, and that means he has until a certain point to sign the tender 7/15 i believe? They can negotiate a long term deal up until that point and have exclusive rights. The team could say he has permission to seek a trade, and if traded the team would have negotiated said long term contract and have him sign that upon being traded, before that deadline.

  3. I said earlier in this thread I love me some dolezaj and he keeps proving why! He plays scrappy, but can still pass and not be a liability on the offensive end. Somehow didn’t foul out, played a long time with 4 fouls. Howard and Brissett played well and kept us in it most of the second half until battle came on strong at the end, good team effort!

The majority of the game I had no idea what yard line the ball was on.  The announcers should have been giving at least an estimate before every play.  I understand the field was covered with snow, but you can tell where midfield is and at least give an estimate.  It was mind-boggling to me that for almost the entire game they never gave the position - complete incompetence IMO, can't believe the producers didn't tell them to do it as well

Later as the game went on the had a graphic that popped up on above where the scores were and it would say what yardline

Regarding point #1, I am not so sure about "no one being able to argue against that penalty" on the 2 PT conversion attempt...if its within 1 yard of the LOS I believe the WR can in fact "block" or set a pick on the DB...and it sure looked like they were within 1 yard of the LOS

To me it looked like the pick happened at the goal line, on a 2pt conversion the ball is snapped at the 2 1/2, so that pick was not within one yard

What a win. I gotta say that Sidibe is becoming one of my favorite players. And Howard— what great confidence! Love seeing him be so aggressive going to the rim.

i thought it was a really nice win too in the sense they didn’t need to rely on battle. They’re going to need to get scoring from

brisett, Howard, and others this year to be successful.

By the way, that Huerter from Maryland would have been in Orange but for the NCAA scholarship penalties.

I cant remember a Cuse team that hits the boards this hard, especially on the offense end, for awhile. Brissett, Dolezaj are always in there, and Sidibe and Chukwu like to tip the ball around as well. I think this will help make up for a lot of the missed shots and allow others in some cases to get easy points

I am a Terps fan, and that boy can throw some bombs in no?

I was watching the game and was like, how did Cuse let this kid get out of NYS. He was hitting some from just inside half court it seemed. Amazing

And it looks like he's going to get into trouble for it...

I agree, it would be a stretch, but I would not put it past the sports media, and sure not past social media.

So white coach is going to punish white player for team celebration is racism? Or are you saying Belicheck wouldnt do this to his non white players and therefore that is racist?

nice win last night against Oakland.  Chukwu with a very nice double double.  Battle played almost the entire game and dominated, but not sure why Boeheim kept him in.  Howard is really playing well too.  Dolecaj is awesome out there.  Brisette needs to get comfortable but he has his moments, same with Moyer.  Sidibe seemed to tweak an ankle which gave Chukwu the extra playing time.  Playing Toledo on wednesday and then a tough run of games, MD, KU and UConn to follow.  We will see what this team can do in the spotlight.

I feel like this team isnt as talented as last years, but i think the sum of this teams parts may be better. The players seem to know their roles and where they fit in and it makes everything run much smoother. Also Howard and Battle at the top of the zone adds more height and length vs last year with Gillon.

Dolezaj is the wildcard to me, he plays d, can rebound, and is a great passer from the looks of it. He needs to finish better around the rim and take less fouls, but I really like this kid

The Bills LBs are bad, among the worst starting LB corps in the league. LA s great season last year is the outlier in his career and he was pretty much a pass rusher. He can't play the game they are asking him to right now, and it was suspect thinking to believe he could.

Ive been saying this all year, even Preston Brown is bad, he wont be re-signed, humber should be gone, maybe we ask LA to take a cut to play ST, or we can keep him as a pass rushing specialist, regardless thats 3 starting LBs that need to be replaced, maybe Milano can fill one but we need a lb in the worst way
