Looking for a new TV, looking g for advice
Bray Wyatt replied to mrags's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Thank you for this! I have a 47" Sony Bravia in my bedroom (was older than the Samsung) and is still working fine so we are not necessarily brand loyal. Not sure if the features on this are unique to Sony or not? Like the 4k extreme processor, it says makes everything look like its 4k, is there any validity to that or is this strictly a marketing thing? -
This was the first video that popped into my head!

Looking for a new TV, looking g for advice
Bray Wyatt replied to mrags's topic in Off the Wall Archives
figured I would bump this thread. I have a 55" samsung tv that recently got this horizontal line across the screen (real thin). So unexpectedly the wife and I are in the market to find a new TV, were looking to have a budget around 1k for the TV and since there are some very knowledgeable guys in here, I wanted to know what your thoughts would be on the best bang for your buck on that type of budget? If you have any questions about preferences or things that may help, let me know. -
More wins in 2018, Browns or Bills?

browns will have an easier schedule, and if they are starting TT and we are starting Allen, I can see the browns. I think this is a coin flip tbh -
JALEN RAMSEYCLOWNS BILLS QB JOSH ALLEN... DELETES

I dont know whats more embarassing, a guy trolling a rookie qb on a drill in rookie mini camp, or some of the posts in this thread -
Ok I must have missed that part then (that the OP made), I only skimmed through. Glad to see that Edmunds will be calling plays during the mini-camp, i am excited for him as well, and it would seem the staff has a lot of confidence in him already
-
But you arent making an apples to apples comparison, this is not the same offense with the same personnel that TT had in those years. You can go back two years if you like to think that somehow makes a better comparison, I will stick with the more recent. Asking AJM to put up 400 pts in order to be an equivalent to what TT did (which seems to be your implication) in a different offense that what TT did is not a good comparison
-
The point of the therad was comparing this roster to last years, what you are saying is irrelevant as last years team did not put up 400
-
Lets be honest, the strength of those scoring teams was based on the run game, not TT and the passing game (yes TT did help the run game) Also, we are not running that offense any more so to bring up a possible improvement by replacing AJM with TT and trying to state that it wont happen because of those teams seems disingenuous I do think its possible that AJM could do better than what TT did last year, he could also be worse. I dont think you can at this point say definitively one way or the other

its not like 25 catches for 282 yds and 1 td is irreplaceable though
-
Also Jordan Mathews didnt do much for us, Zay cant really get any worse, only real loss in production is Deonte Thompson who we got in the middle of the year. I think with a second year Zay and healthier Benjamin I dont see it as being worse
-
for people saying our WR group is worse, is it because Thompson left? I dont see how it got worse, granted its not good but that doesnt mean it got worse than last year

Gregg Rosenthal: AFC East Projected Starters

This is what I am thinking too, I think Miller wins the RG job this year with the switch back to a power scheme -
Start Allen from Day 1/ QB competition

I think Allen is going to surprise a lot of people -

I dont think he has the OL correct (maybe it is for now, but I do not think that is what it will be once the season starts) -
some people need to lighten up fcol, i agree this isnt necessarily a sign as to how he will be, but its still pretty funny esp since its the jets

cant make this up lol

Caption This (Eli Manning)

is this the famed Webb package? -
i hadnt had a chance to watch a lot of his games, so i watched all the videos you posted. and to be honest, the way people are reacting around here I was expecting way worse than what actually was. The thing i noticed most of the time was how bad this guy's ol was (i thought i heard an announcer say they were starting 3 freshman?). They seemed to understand that and call a lot of roll outs to help him out, but this and his bad ol made him throw on the run an awful lot. He also is a much better runner than i thought he would be. This has me excited to watch what he can do this pre-season.

Tremaine Edmunds Scouting Report
Bray Wyatt replied to bills.avfc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With fans, especially around here, they will be called busts after the first pre season game, or future all pros depending lol One thing this coaching staff has that the others didnt, is that they got the playoff monkey of their backs, so it affords them more time. Both of these picks scream long term thinking to me, and with how Beane and McD seem to be in lockstep, I think they will try to be patient. But who knows how quickly these guys learn, and how quickly they may be forced to play due to either injuries or lack of talent ahead of them.
