We haven’t seen economic conditions more favorable to working class people in 50 years. Stop pretending everything is doom and gloom. You’re grossly underpaid. We all are. Demand a large raise. They can’t replace you for what they’re paying you right now. We likely won’t see this again in our lifetime. You’ll never again have the leverage you have today. Take advantage and better yourself. Dont let this moment pass you by. You don’t have to give Joe recognition for it. Just do it.
-
Don’t live in denial. If you feel things haven’t improved for you personally, now is the time to ask for a raise, because everyone beneath you just caught up to you. Dont be the guy that sits there and can’t see what’s going on in the job sector.

DeSantis For President in 2024?

The numbers speak for themselves. -
Yes. That’s what the jobs report shows. It’s trickle up instead of trickle down. Upward mobility for lower/middle class workers has never been better. That wasn’t Bernie or progressives that did that. That was Nancy who took advantage of a scared Trump administration and doubled all of their wages during a pandemic with relief policy. Dont worry, Nancy doesn’t want your recognition because she’s the last of the true public servants in this country. She delivered.

Thank you Joe for reviving the lower and middle class. Best jobs/wages report in my lifetime. We all knew you could do it. Ok, Nancy did it, but you deserve credit also.

That’s because everyone died dude. As Governor, aren’t you supposed to protect the citizens in your state? I can picture the campaign last week. We aren’t being invited to Fox like we were before so how do we change that? Lets announce that we’re assembling a police force to battle voter fraud! Dunno, that reeks of desperation to me. To become a viable candidate he has to hire a much better team. They’re a bunch of knot-heads. Maybe he will hire a new team. They’re very amateurish. -

He’s directly responsible for the most American deaths since a vaccine became available. Thats really bad. How do you miss that layup when there’s a vaccine? He misplayed that terribly and now he’s just yelling at clouds to stay relevant, which BTW isn’t working so well. Whats his new scam again? He’s going to assemble a task force to battle election fraud? LMAO. Talk about desperation. Jeez. That’s really pathetic. Even Trump laughed at that one. -
Yeah, that’s great, but you have to keep it in perspective. Turnout was “this” much higher than the last governor’s race in Virginia that had no turnout. Mail-in voting has obviously helped and that’s great, but let’s not pretend that it’s anywhere near presidential turnout. I guess you didn’t see the jobs/wages numbers today. Best in my lifetime.

Dunno. He looked 30 in that KC game. I’m 46 and and roughly his size but a few inches taller and I don’t think I could survive a full season of passes that put your body in really bad situations like we’ve seen previously. it doesn’t look like he has all that much left to me. Josh puts him in terrible positions and I admire how he brings them down, but I never felt he could do it another full season.
-
He had broken bones and couldn’t run during the KC game. He likely had multiple other injuries also. “You can’t dance with a broken leg” is what I heard over the loudspeaker numerous times before the Dead came onstage at Giants Stadium and we all jumped the 14 ft. wall anyway and some broke their legs and ankles.

A governors race in Virginia against a retread Clinton era democrat was their SB win. When you take a step back you realize that everyone is about short term wins. There’s no long term plan for moving the party forward, and that’s because they’ve all become opportunists that get in and get out. None of them actually care about policy. Some in this country made a huge error thinking that bringing in a bunch of businessmen and the clowns on their coattails was better than life long public servants that might’ve overstated their welcome within a breaking system. What does Matt Gaetz care about the long term health of his district and country?
-
I guess it depends on how they value him. They could just run him ragged until the playoffs and be without after that…..or they could rest him and use him during the playoff run. What I’m saying is that he can’t last an entire season and a run to the SB and play in that game and be effective. I thought he was shot at the end of last season TBH.

Some on the people may very well be good, but your elected officials are basically Michelle Bachman clones from the past living in a post-truth world that they created for themselves. It’s pretty split. What everyone can agree on is that the far right isn’t a legitimate threat to your way of life and if it ever did rise to that level, they would be eliminated rather quickly. The unknown is what percentage are just taking advantage of a pseudo movement and monetizing it vs. true anti-government insurrectionists, which I believe is also pretty split.
-
Beas banged up already? They should probably rest him until the playoffs if they actually think they need him.
-
Well, people can talk about it now because there aren’t enough white voters out there that view things the way you do to win a presidential election, and that number shrinks each election cycle as demographics continue to change.
-
We need to stop pretending that it’s Betty’s husband that drives a truck in western Pennsylvania that has a problem, when the problem is actually Betty. Trump increased his numbers with white women the second time around. If you took 100 white women likely voters from Pennsylvania and Virginia and gave them truth serum, you would find that 65 percent of them fear change, good or bad, because they feel a sliver of their entitlement gets stripped away in the process. I’m just saying that it’s time to talk about it openly. We knew this 20 years ago and refuse to address it. We can no longer pretend it isn’t happening.
-
In a presidential election? Yeah, definitely.
-
I think they’re also blind like little moles. It seems like culture/media has gone insane. It’s in sports too! Tom Brady can struggle for 3.5 quarters and win by 1 point and it’s a great victory. Tom just being Tom. We struggle for 1 half and then stomp the Dolphins and we apparently suck because we didn’t win by 30. Whoever gets their narrative to stick wins. The truth/reality doesn’t even matter anymore. They can’t even wait until the votes are counted. I’ve never seen so many bad takes on sports/politics in my life.
-
I’m not talking about the electorate as a whole. I’m talking specifically about “white women voters.” We’ve been paying pretty close attention to that group over the last 10 years and it isn’t good at all. Look at the numbers.
-
The problem Democrats have is that they assume every voter is like me and enjoys the ugly sausage making, fighting, and political posturing while passing legislation. They think that voters will reward them simply for appearing to be working, and they found out that average voters don’t like watching that in action. This all used to be stuff that political nerds liked to follow but now it’s being pushed to the masses and it turns people off. The corporate control/money with Manchin and Sinema was pretty badly exposed during this whole process also. Those 2 hit the lottery a year ago and will hold up everything just to fill their campaign coffers and arrange future post-political careers when they leave office.

Lol. Is this a serious conversation? George Bush and Karl Rove and every other Republican consultant out there saw those troubling signs back in 2000 and ran as compassionate conservatives that reached out to Hispanics, and it started to work. There was a new plan in place and path forward to fix what changing demographics had done to the party. After that, the party did exactly the opposite and started catering to the fringe base voters. John Boehner then released a post election “autopsy report” saying that they were once again on the wrong path with Latinos and had to get back to what Bush did. Then Trump came down the escalator. My point is, you can’t repair that damage now.

I believe Biden won it by 16. The last reliable polls I saw had Murphy by 5. If he wins by 4, would you call that a STUNNER? If it were Murphy running in a presidential, he would win NJ by 16, just like Biden did. They’re two totally different electorates.
-
I want you too see the Election Day narrative get busted. Anything 3 or more isn’t really close at all. There’s still a bunch of votes left to count, and then the absentee votes get hand counted. This is going to finish over 3 points. If they had counted absentee first, it would’ve never appeared close in the first place, and no one could write all of these bad takes for the last 2 days. Do you think we should change the way media covers elections? I saw at least 5 major news sites release stories early the next morning stating how NJ was a STUNNER in the making, fully knowing that the votes in blue counties weren’t counted yet and Murphy would win comfortably.
-
Oh B-man….. 56,540 2.3% and climbing. Looks like 3.5 was a bit conservative on my part. Can we get to 4?
