Remember when the board went crazy about Afghanistan and Joe prevailed and the media had to apologize?

Today's Race In California Recall
Governor replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You should see the insides of people’s homes and apartments in Myrtle. I’ve never seen anything quite like that before. It’s like the show Hoarders but an entire city. -
Today's Race In California Recall

It’s still early but it looks like trouble. We’ll have to see what turnout is in Virginia. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/09/15/newsom-victory-california-recall-covid-gop/ Dump in a Myrtle Beach kinda way? Trashy? -

So you’re all retreating to 2 states? That doesn’t seem like a good strategy. Lol. -

The pandemic is a terrible problem for Republicans and I don’t think they can switch gears in time for the midterms. I wouldn’t even know where to start. Dem turnout is up. Voters agree with Dems on masks and mandates. Voters like Biden’s economic message/programs. Voters hate the Texas abortion law. I don’t know how you guys turn this around. Definitely won’t be any type of “red wave.” You’ve actually lost ground since Election Day. -
Convicted felon Donald Trump's follies

I think it’s time to discuss Donald’s dementia. He’s very sick. -

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Governor replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The mandates will get us close to 90. The Medicare/Medicaid requirement knocks out the key unvax group. The other remaining group is young people. Expect to see a mandate saying that you can’t get financial aid for college without vaccination…..if it isn’t in this round. The states and business can take it from there. Just close up the remaining loopholes as we go. The religious exemption is obviously gonna have to go. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

B-man would probably try to make me fat, and then I would have to politely tell him that I simply can’t sit with him and eat all of these meals each day. Then I would grab him, shake him, and tell him to stop it. Then I would pull him in front of a mirror and say, “look what you’re doing to yourself!” -

HC isn’t a right, and until it is, there’s no use discussing that. I have no patience for fat people either but you can’t catch fat from someone. B-man can’t breathe on me and make me fat. Down the road, if you wanted to criminalize being fat, regulate what we can eat, I would be happy to have that conversation. By remaining unvaccinated, they’ve already told us they’re too stupid and shouldn’t be in public. As I previously said, unvaccinated go to the back of the line. If the hospital is empty, then by all means go ahead and treat them. People chose to stay unvaccinated because there’s countless other cures and home remedies available. They shouldn’t be at the hospital in the first place. It’s just sniffles. -
The education gap between men and women
Governor replied to Sundancer's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
My friend teaches in this newer school in Vermont. It’s basically a trade school for kids. They identify what the kid is good at, identify what type of learner they are, and then pick the program. There are no standardized tests, no grades, etc. It’s pretty interesting. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - And, We're Off!
Governor replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At the time, it looked to me like Allen was holding his ankle after a sack. Then he was holding it once again a few plays later. I wonder if that played a part in his end of game attitude. Maybe he hurt. -
Mandated Masks AND a loin cloth on the outside of your pants. Well, Trumpism loses badly again. This has got to be a bit worrying now. Who can step in and stop these crazy people from running? They aren’t electable. Doesn’t look like McCarthy will/can do it. Mitch will/can to some extent in the senate. Mitch did say that he will be finding the most electable candidates to run. That was a shot at Trump. Those internal party battles should be interesting.

I think that’s hepatitis B. -
Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry
Governor replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, you can’t catch those other things like Covid. I think hepatitis is blood to blood, and HIV……. But those people are actually registered by the state as having those diseases. You get put on a list like a sex offender. It happened to an old classmate of mine. -

You can actually be sued or face charges if you have hepatitis and get dental work, hide it from a partner, etc. They even make you register with the state, just like a Covid vaccine. -

Oh yeah. I forgot they were both open air. I’m expecting MetLife to move here soon. Summer Phish tour was real bad. They were forced to require it towards the end, even in the outdoor amphitheaters. I know like a dozen people that went and they ALL came home with Covid. Glad I sat this one out. -

You talking about Monmouth beach? It was closed because NYC needles were washing up on the beach. Stay away from that beach area. Bad news. -

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Governor replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They can safely take the vaccine. My FIL just passed from cancer and his 48 year old son also has cancer and just started chemo, and both were told to get the vaccine. Doctors were just being cautious. Now that it’s mandated, their doctors will tell them to go ahead and get it. There’s zero risk. -

Not for long. Apps are being rolled out that verify identity kinda like ID.me and gets your photo, checks the database, etc.
