At some point even the McD lovers (im not a hater) have to own up. Seriously 0-÷ against the Chiefs in the playoffs? Seriously?
0-3, 4, 5. Get rid of the coaches
It isn’t just the Chiefs. He can’t beat the Bengals either. He’s the redheaded stepchild to all of the main contenders.

Josh is off the charts amazing but he's literally expected to do F-ing EVERYTHING. I'm so sick of watching this clap show.
Our defensive guru makes Josh change style and tempo at the snap of his fingers at various points of games because he doesn’t want his awful defense on the field. His specialty.
A defensive guru should want Josh to score as quickly as possible so he can get his defense back out there to get a quick stop and then score again!

Yeah, it’s not happening under McD. The defense is “all time” bad after using all of the team’s resources on it. We really couldn’t be in a worse situation with a HC that’s also our DC. There’s no way to fix it.

I also think Brady is next in line to be the head coach if McD can’t deliver the Super Bowl next year
Brady should leave right now if he can. This ship is sinking.

It’s never his fault is it? No answers to 13 seconds or Cincinnati. Frazier was maybe fired? Or he left? Or he took money to not be DC? Everyone was just hurt so we couldn’t play defense for 3 1/2 quarters? He even said himself that he thought a fake freaking punt would keep his crappy D off the field! THAT is what you want again? More non-answers?
The defensive guru didn’t want his defense on the field.

Bass, McD’s new scapegoat?

No way we were stopping them. They barely even needed 3rd downs. The literally marched down the field all game. Could have had no d out there.
It was the worst defense I’ve seen in a very long time.

Don’t be silly. McD is all about inclusion. He just wanted the younger fans to experience their own “wide right.”
What a guy!

We need an offensive minded HC to field an above average defense. Yes, you read that right.
We need a new DC with a new scheme to get over the hump. McD’s is broken and he won’t change it. It’s the only way.

Don't forget that McDermott told us that his message for the team at halftime was "Go for it"
Then he proceeds to put this team's fate on the leg of the kicker who has lost all his swagger this season
You can't make this stuff up. McDermott is simply horrible
A HC is supposed to know his kicker. Bass hasn’t made an impressive kick in over a month. Shame on McD for even putting him out there.
Now he will just use Bass as an excuse to save his job.

I hope he demands a trade now. Me or McD. Pegs would have to go with Josh. Sick of seeing all our assets wasted on the D.
It would be amazing if he did. This has gone on long enough.

This is the natural off-season to change the coaching staff. Team will be in upheaval anyway.
The new guy will want some new personnel and want the offense built in a certain manner. That's fine...we need a new WR corps anyway.
First item of business would be to get rid of all of these underachieving D-linemen if possible.
I agree. I think it’s the perfect time. Let a new regime work with Josh and if he doesn’t like it, or they don’t like it, trade him.
He’s only running this back 1 more year under McD before he demands a trade anyway.
Try to salvage it the best we can.
-
Now is the time to tear it down. Get some fresh offensive minds in here and start dumping players on this awful defense.
I would even say that trading Josh isn’t entirely off the table. He will want out after next season so we might as well get a record haul for him. But we can’t do any of this with McD in the building.
-
Agree. If you trot out a bad defense in the playoffs every year then you don’t need a defensive HC. An offensive minded HC could put together an average defense. There’s literally no reason to keep him whatsoever. Plus, he’s an all-time choker now. You can’t fix that.

You either fire McD or look to move Josh for a huge haul. It’s one of the other. This obviously isn’t working.

Hard to come up with names in blowout losses to the Chiefs and Bengals.
Don't forget the Too Many Men on the Field loss.... I know it's not a playoff game but yeah
Yeah! That one counts too. There’s so many.

What are the names of his other losses? I forget.

The unthinkable happened once again and it’s time to move on.
His defense will never win a SB.

Defense was swiss cheese all game and then finally came through twice when it looked like we were done, only for the offense to stall out with Josh missing open guys on key plays. It stings.
We're still not good enough. Coaching still isn't good enough against the better teams. We still don't get pressure when it matters. Mahomes > Allen still.
Andy Reid totally owns McD and his scheme and always will. McD will never beat him when it matters. Even if we were healthy, it would’ve been the same. He just absolutely shreds McD.

The 2nd biggest choke job I’ve ever seen. McD’s scheme was absolutely shredded the entire night. It’s time to move on.

So we're firing McD, right?

And then KC would’ve scored 3 plays later. You still need a defense to win a championship and we don’t have a quality DC, scheme, or players. It doesn’t matter what style of offense we have.
