Josh is a stud at QB. He is top 5 no doubt.

But the "other" fans in the NFL think he is rough around the edges. His accuracy shows, at times, that he is inconsistent which we all see. He can't hit the long ball with "touch" is another comment I hear a lot. And he doesn't see the field as well as other top QB's, hence the missed open WR's we see in many games. But he can ball! And I'll take that all day.

    Now just win one baby!

Touch on screens and dump-offs and long ball accuracy are definitely his biggest weaknesses. I don’t think he will ever fix it. He throws the ball too hard.

What is the basis for the judgment?  Considering no one got hurt and no one involved is complaining?  Why is $400+M enough punishment but $100M isn't?

The judge added it all up and that’s what the amount is. They didn’t just make up a number. It’s listed in the case paperwork. There’s 400 million in fraud.

He also owes 200 million on Trump tower so they will have to take a bunch of his properties. He took loans out on all of them.

I don’t think the banks should get anything. They knew he was a fraud and still gave him money. They should lose their ass for that decision.

They’ll get more out of Samuel than Denote Harty. Now with 9 WR’s already on the roster. I think WR in RD1 is no longer a slam dunk. Could see them trading down and taking a safety or interior OL.

Beane gets these types of players so McD can go mostly defense in the draft. He’s done it most years. We won’t draft a WR1 until Diggs is gone the following year. There’s going to be some angry people on draft day. They will likely attempt to copy KC and draft a physical CB and safety.

    Their goals of this draft:

    -Get bigger

-only draft positions that develop quickly.

The last Republican platform was whatever Trump wanted.
Im guessing the current platform top 5 is:

Guns for all, overturn any laws limiting access to guns.

Repeal gay marriage. Oppose anything related to LGBTQ.

    Nationwide abortion ban

Tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
    Christianity religion in the schools

Really the biggest one is Privatization via the funneling of tax payer dollars into private hands.  They’ve been trying to cause the collapse of the public school system for at least 50 years now. Same thing with social security, the post office, and everything else. Destroy it, then privatize it. That’s why we see all of this recent nonsense with the school boards, culture wars, etc.

That’s what the Heritage Foundation would like more than anything else and they created the platform Trump is currently running on.

When the GOP saw the demographic shifts on the horizon back in 2003, they decided to focus primarily on the courts since there just wouldn’t be that many more elections left to win in the future. Mitch immediately started that process and that has continued to today. That was strictly a survival tactic because they already knew the party wasn’t gonna make it another generation.

Here we are. This might be the end.  The prediction was that unless the GOP did an absolute 180 on most issues, became a “big tent” party like the Dems recently did, and reached out to minorities, they would become a permanent minority party in 20 years. I think we’re there after this election. They obviously did the opposite. lol.

Trump might’ve set them back another 20 years. They can’t even get to the rebuild stage until he’s totally out of the picture. Now he’s got his family and others embedded throughout, family controls the party’s money, etc. He’s not gonna stop until there’s nothing left.

It might not ever come back. Not in my lifetime at least.

I checked and he was on the injury report for a back injury the week we played Washington

Then he got suplexed by sauce Gardener the next week

He may not have had a severe injury but I think he was playing through back pain for the last half of the year

So that was week 4 or 5? I think that’s the one I remember most too. He almost didn’t get up. He got slammed quite a few times but that one was bad.

No it would be our boy in the #14.

He’s had 1 game with 100+ yards since 2020 in the playoffs. 3 games under 60 yards. He hasn’t had a TD since the Baltimore game 4 years ago.

    Guy stinks in the postseason.

I don’t know how many others feel the same as me but one of my issues with him, other than being totally useless in the playoffs, is that his entire game is geared towards avoiding contact. This year teams got tired of that and just started picking him up and slamming him on his head. That might be where his injury occurred. Avoiding contact oftentimes resulted in him going down really awkwardly the last 2 seasons. I cringe every time someone is hanging off of him. I think he should either be fearless and dive for yards, or get down on the ground. I’m fine with either one.  No more just standing there with 3 guys hanging off of you and then getting powerbombed.

Other than that, he could probably be a good #2 next season or not.

No that's why I laugh at the "Bills were the best team in the league this year if not (X,Y,Z happened)" crowd

I’m with you on talent but shouldn’t these average players be a bit better with a lot less unforced errors if we truly had an elite coach? I think so.

I don’t think we need 7 elite players but 4-5 would be nice.

They got to the SB when Mahomes uncharacteristically played his worst in the 2nd half of that AFCCG.

Mahomes has never done that against Buffalo.  I would have loved to see that Mahomes this past year.

Yes. Cincy played defense. They cracked the code on Mahomes.

Is it just unfamiliarity with Reid and Cincy’s coach? There could be some truth to that but it’s more about how their team is built. It could be both. Nothing is ever absolute. All we can really go by is the absolute beatings they gave us, and then KC. I don’t think anyone would argue that they’re not the much better coached team and scheme.

Cincy has shown that they can be calm and calculated on offense whether they’re up by 10 or down by ten. We have not shown that in the McD era. They also have a defense that doesn’t give up 17 points in 3 minutes of play. We haven’t shown any of that maturation at any point in the Josh era. They also have a disruptive D-line once the playoffs starts, another thing we haven’t seen in the McD era for the exception of the Raven’s game. They are pretty much everything that we should want to be. All of the things needed to win a championship.

Cincy almost won that SB, so not only did they beat KC, they almost and probably should have won that SB. They are the team that’s in the way of KC winning 3 more SB’s, not us.

We are basically a “tune-up” game for both of those teams, a dress-rehearsal game and that really sucks. Our last 3 games against Cincy were probably the most lop-sided meaningful games in the McD era.

Every once in a while you’ see a fan ask “is this team not very talented and is being coached up or are they underperforming with a crappy coach?” Are they a poor roster that’s actually overachieving?

I still don’t think we can answer that question which isn’t good moving forward. It’s obviously both but to what extent? Is it just a piss-poor roster and coach that’s being carried by a star QB? It very well could be. We still don’t know because the team has never showed any poise.

Cincy hasn’t done that much better than the Bills against KC. They managed to go 1-1 against them in the playoffs. So that’s 1 more than Bills. They beat KC twice in the regular season at Cincy. Bills have beaten KC 3 times in the regular season at KC, including a blowout. I’d take the Bills performance over Cincy’s.

For all the manhandling Cincy is supposedly doing against KC they sure haven’t had much to show for it.

They had a SB appearance which is miles ahead of what we’ve done and they would’ve been in the championship game again this year if they hadn’t lost Burrow, and they’ll probably be in that game again next year, since we can’t beat them. We aren’t ever beating Cincy with the way this team is built.

I hear ya, but have to admit that any move we make.. my sole focus is “how does this set us up against KC?”

No matter what the other AFCE teams do, we’ve been able to win the East.

We have two other main contenders in Baltimore and Cincinnati.  One we typically beat, the other we struggle against.

But nothing else matters until we can get out of the AFC.. and for Buffalo, Cinci, Baltimore.. every move is made with an eye on the Chiefs.

    It is what it is.

I personally don’t like the idea of building to specifically beat KC with speed or however Beane has been doing it. We already saw how that left us totally overmatched against Cincy a few years later. Cincy will be back. If anything, I think we should be building to emulate Cincy, since they always manhandle KC.

Beane was chasing a crack high and fell asleep at the wheel, then KC got much larger and physical on defense and we didn’t. It looks to me that KC is building to beat Cincy, not us, and we should do the same.

  11. The campaign officially started this week and it’s all downhill from here for the Redhat cult.

There’s no way in hell Trump’s campaign lets him get on that debate stage. Not happening.

I don’t know who decided to put that crazy Karen out there. That wasn’t good at all, but rarely does it ever go well. Bobby Jindal anyone? Someone always gets sacrificed and sometimes it ends their career. No one volunteers to do that speech. Think about it, that was the GOP’s attempt to stop the bleeding with suburban women. lol. I guess I’m not surprised. “What a mess” as Irv would say.

As far as polling, we’ll see Joe pull ahead pretty quickly here (1 month) since it’s now a true head to head matchup.

This is going to be a pretty boring election cycle. It will be interesting to see just how much Dems over perform the polling again this time around. 3-4 points in some places is my guess.

  12. I was 16 and in a room full of Giant’s fans. I was never a huge fan of Jim Kelly. I didn’t trust him at all in any game. I wasn’t one of the “bench Kelly for Reich” guys but I wouldn’t have been too upset if it happened. Sometimes he would come out and throw 3 interceptions right away in the 1st quarter. When he was bad, he was really bad.

The AFC was incredibly bad back then so it was no surprise that most of them were so lopsided. I think they lost about a dozen SB’s in a row during that period. It pissed me off that Denver was the team to finally win one.

I thought we had a chance against the Redskins but nope. The Redskins really had an incredible season that year. Maybe the most dominant I’ve ever seen.

  13. Looks like you guys really got taken for a ride on this one. You should be angry at Jordan and that other clown. They obviously knew this long ago. Everyone knew before the last election that there was nothing to the Biden/Ukraine story yet you all chased it for 3 years. Think about all of the time you wasted spreading fake twitter takes. It’s quite remarkable. You didn’t listen.  We knew the conspiracy was fake even before Giuliani went overseas to help Russia peddle the idea that Ukraine was behind the hacks, etc., and not Russia. You’ve been chasing the same nonsense that oligarchs fed Rudy ever since. Always the same conspiracy with laptops, and EMAILS, and super duper corruption but the main characters change.

Meanwhile, Trump is trying to figure out how to declare bankruptcy for the tenth time before his NY assets are stripped from him. His abortion plan leaked which is pretty lethal heading into the election. Criminal charges also incoming soon. He’s stealing all of the party’s money. It really can’t be worse for the GOP right now. It’s gonna be a bloodbath.

    What a mess!!!

    And

Before you say Demar Hamlin, that’s an NFL perception thing not a fan-based thing

I wasn’t referring to Hamlin. He’s a fringe player. Tre White is already a great example of a player that should’ve been traded 2 seasons ago.

The Bills have a different issue going on now also. Most of our players on defense aren’t tradable due to McD’s scheme. It very well could be true that not many teams were really interested in White’s services a few years ago.

If you think back to Carolina and Josh Norman at his peak, there wasn’t a huge market for him compared to Revis and others because he was strictly a zone guy. He did get paid in Washington but it was clear that there wasn’t much interest elsewhere.

But, it’s done. It’s fine. We didn’t get out in front of that one but the decision is easy now with White.

Will Beane prove my point? I bet he does.
