The defensive holding penalty that stopped the clock on Josh’s 3rd and 13 conversion screwed things up quite a bit on the drive. It required us to convert another 1st down when we may not have had to otherwise.
I guess when you take a step back and reanalyze those downs, the run to the left kneel down to keep the clock running, there’s no way that call came from Brady up top. That original call (whatever it was) was overruled by McD 100 percent. There’s no intent to get any yardage on that play whatsoever to get us into FG range.
And we still didn’t kill the clock.

You're proving yourself to be one hell of an obvious troll, as the breakdown above completely ignores the earlier big balls decision to go for 4th down on their own 35. I was as big a critic of McD as anyone when the Bills were 5-5, but the man has changed the way he operates at the end of games. I don't know what happened but the Bills are now aggressive and play to win. That last series forced Miami to use all of their timeouts and we were literally inches from ending the game on a 6-minute drive.
Stop the nonsense.
McD was trying to win the game until he wasn’t.
The goal in mind was to run out the clock(for whatever reason) and seal the game. Ok, that obviously failed miserably. We did not accomplish that at all.
I listed the pays for everyone. Watch it again if you need to. McD starts out pretty gutsy. Omg, we’re doing it!
McD then closes his eyes and rolls up in a fetal position on the last set of plays.
Turns the ball over.
Then puts ALL of the pressure on the defense with a ton of time on the clock against a quick strike offense with a HOF WR.

Coaching scared would have been
7. Punt
You can’t punt there. You’re on the 35.

Are you honestly insinuating that the Bills -- who went for it on 4th down from their own 35 yard line and then went for it again on 4th down later in the same drive -- were "coaching scared"?3:04 left on the clock.
1. run up the middle for nothing
2. designed run to left. Josh falls inbounds. No gain. (Kneel-down play) Just an absurd play call right there. As bad as it gets.
3. Pass to shakir short of the marker
4. silly hut hut tactic
5. Time out. LMAO
6. Josh run up the middle for nothing.
7. Turnover on downs
That's a guy that’s terrified to run his normal offense at the most crucial point of the game.

I’m not sure this got a lot of talk… maybe it did and I missed it. The week before, we had about 5mins left and ran out the clock on the Patsies. This game, we had 6:20ish left. Thats a lot of time to run off!
They almost did it, coming up about 6inches short. But man.. that was actually a very risky strategy to not even try and score with that much time left. I don’t totally disagree with it, but I do think they should have mixed in a few more safe passes and runs. They got very predictable. Hopefully they have some quick hitters and such in the playbook because the schnow plow ain’t gonna always get it done as we saw.
i think being up by a full touchdown is what dictated it. Worst case scenario, Dolphins get the ball back and tie the game. I think if we’re leading by anything less than a full 7pts, they would have tried to score.
There were multiple plays on that drive that were basically kneel downs. That’s “coaching scared” again late in games.

Why are Bills fans desperately searching for every possible way that their team can lose a home playoff game in which they are favored?
Because the teams invents creative and exciting ways to blow games each week?
Only McD could purposely try to run out the clock with QB runs instead of scoring again and then fail miserably on the last play and give the ball back anyway.
He acts like the moments are just training exercises.
Get in FG range and kick the fkn FG! Then you don’t have to worry about the other team scoring. He’s an idiot!

I said this last week. You guys are funny. Some of the board thinks we have a shot at the SB ...yet some are freaking out over Steelers...you realize after the Steelers we likely have KC. Then Ravens or Browns (who scare me way more than the injured Steelers)
Highsmith scares me more than any other team.

Even if the weather is bad, I see our points coming through the air.

Who likes the dolphins this week? I’m kinda feeling it.

If Josh has a strong game and the offense is clicking, we could easily blow them out. We are a much better team.
Then again, we could lose. This is why it's fun to watch the actual games. That’s fun for you? You’re sick!

I mean, I love the message, hate the messenger.
In particular, I am personally pissed off about the portioning off streaming exclusives. I paid for Sunday Ticket because I wanted a functional, legal way to watch the Bills. I have been able to watch...I think 2-4 games on it this season between prime time exceptions, local broadcast claims, and exclusives.
So the the NFL should be not at all surprised when this game gets pirated to death.
They’re perfectly fine with it being pirated. The NFL wouldn’t be expanding and playing games in other countries if those “new” fans weren’t introduced to the game via internet streaming.

The playoff game is being shown on ABC as well as ESPN. But normally your only recourse is to sign up for ESPN+.
I think his point is that ESPN has never been a free channel to watch. It’s included with cable tv, which costs money.

Our OL dominates about 3 games a season. 6 years in and Beane hasn’t built a playoff worthy line. Dawkins is the most overrated player on our team. I can’t even blame a rookie. He shouldn’t even be out there.

I’m so confused by this take lol he looks pretty calm to me and he’s been mostly under control in the pocket outside of that 4th down play
It isn’t uppers. It just appears that way because he has severe adhd and anxiety.
If you gave him uppers, it would knock him out and he’d go to sleep.

These slow drives are killing this team, we wasted 5 mins for 2 first down and 25 nets yards. Brady is killing this offence, Miami is burnt in secondary and were running into their line. Just dumb coaching
Brady really has been awful and now our defense is shot. We’re about to get steamrolled by a bunch of backups.
