With all the injuries the Dolphins have, a Bills loss needs to be an automatic firing for McDermott.
It would mean Miami has officially passed us, as most pundits predicted preseason, so changes would be needed.

@ScottLaw you’re such a dolt, “quietly” disagreeing with my posts yet offering nothing. I was right once again that the Bills were not dead, and I’m right that the Ravens aren’t “taking the day off” against the Steelers. Sitting Lamar for a QB with playoff experience isn’t throwing in the towel.
The Ravens are certainly taking the day off. Most, if not all, of their starters will be sitting.

Steelers are such a weird team. They look like they don't have an NFL offense then all of a sudden go into Seattle against a good team and seemingly score at will
You didn’t see the Bengals game? Steelers looked like the best team in the league that week. They’re gonna wreck the Ravens.

They’re called Capris and they’re IN
Capris, and all slim/tapered pants went OUT a few years ago. What’s still in is cropped pants/chinos but they can’t be joggers or tapered. They have to be straight/relaxed in the leg.

That would make them the #6 seed and going to Arrowhead if they lose. Miami is going to want the #2 seed and play at home on WC weekend. If the game gets out of hand in the Bills favor, then they will most likely pull their starters.
Yes but you run the risk of losing even more players on top of the already injured players that you rushed back into action this week…..all so you can get humiliated at home for a playoff game?
I don’t think this is as slam dunk as some would assume.
if Waddle and others are at 60 percent now, but would be at 90 percent for playoffs, you rest them.
-
I would rest starters TBH.

Keeping Tua means you’re stuck with an offense that relies entirely on speed and timing and that usually only gets you so far.
If the offense gets stopped, I understand why fans would want a change.

We need to draft a #1. Maybe we could get another year from Diggs as a #2.

They’re the same person.

If we fail to appear in the AFC championship game he should be let go.
Theres teams and coaches playing better than us with backup QB’s right now and could win playoff games. Simply getting to the postseason isn’t good enough for McD. Our offense has been healthy all season.

If Allen can take care of business next week and then go into Miami and take the AFC East crown, then he will be the front runner ahead of Lamar
I think so too. He could add 8 more TDs, then no one can really make the argument for Lamar.

With AJE and Jones possibly in the line up, I’m curious if they keep dressing Von. He’s still yet to be productive.
I just don’t get it.
As these games get more and more must win, I’m shocked Von is still out there. At some point a team is going to exploit him.

It’s nice to know that both the Steelers and the Bengals are on the road against contenders. That seems to be the most likely path.
I have a hard time believing the Steelers are going to lose after last week. I do see Cincy and the Jags losing.
Yeah, #4 is our easiest path.

Wacko for Flacco!

If we beat the Pats, KC beats Cincy and Seattle beats Pitt, we secure a playoff birth before Week 18.
It doesn’t look like KC is beating anyone right now.

I’m looking past NE to Miami. I hope it doesn’t cost us.

Beat the Patriots and we can still lose to Miami and still have a 98% chance. Alot of stuff has gone our way these last 3 weeks.
I assume some of that can change with bad results next week?

OK.......I am stating right off the bat here that I am not trying to get ahead of ourselves. There is still work to be done and we all know that. But, with the way this weekend went, the Playoff picture and our road there has become pretty clear. Obviously, if we take care of business against the Pats*, our chances are pretty good to get in. We all know this now. We are all focused on doing that and then seeing what happens with the Dolphins and Ravens to see if we have a shot at the division.
Here is the scenario I want to bring up because if it does happen to play out this way, this is something I haven't seen anyone really talk about yet.
We lock up a Playoff spot next week with a win against the Pats* and a Pittsburgh loss in Seattle and a Cincy loss in KC. Let's say that happens...... This next part is the part nobody is talking about.
What if we clinch a spot and the Dolphins beat the Ravens? The Dolphins would obviously win the division no matter what happens in week 18. That said, what would you do in week 18 if we're in, but there is no chance to win the division? The Dolphins would be playing their starters for sure because they would still have a look at the 1 seed, but what do we do? I mean, we could possibly be playing for seeding as well, but is going all out in that game worth it? Is being the 4 seed or something like that instead of the 6 worth getting someone important injured? I tend to say no.
Like I said, there is still a lot that needs to happen to make the scenario come to fruition, but it does have a chance of happening. What would you do in this case?
PS. Again......not getting ahead of anything here. Still 100% focused on beating the brakes off the Pats*.
I think Josh and Diggs would definitely sit, especially if we were playing the dolphins again the following week, but some other starters would probably play.

Why were the Broncos taking TOs? Lol
Assuming the bills get in the playoffs, how confident are you they get to the superbowl?

We won’t ever see a weaker AFC so if we don’t make it this season, we never will under this regime.
All of the teams that usually own us, KC, Cincy, Jax, etc. are all wounded or out.
