He did some really strange things. For a few years he was “the” guy to follow for Jets fans.

I live 10 minutes from MetLife so I’m surrounded by disgusting heathens who call themselves Jets fans. None of them think they’re taking Zach Wilson. I think people are reading too much into that report yesterday. We don’t know if SF had enough to get to 2. We don’t know if the Jets already have a deal with someone else to trade that pick. Too many unknowns. Yeah, ATL could really clean house if they trade down but I’m not convinced anyone really wants to trade up for Fields. I could see Carolina passing on him too. If that happens, he could slip pretty far.....like embarrassingly far.

Yes. Someone good could fall to 30, but someone GREAT could fall to 26 and I think it will be very difficult for us to stay put when that happens.

Apparently there isn’t a DT worth taking at 30. That’s what others here have said. My gut tells me that we’ll have to move up at least 3 or 4 spots because I don’t see the 4 QB’s going first. I could see ATL and Carolina passing in Fields. That could end up screwing us up a bit.

The Jets aren’t taking a QB and ATL might not either.

It’s possible that 3 other teams were trying to move up and they were pressured to do it now. It also wouldn’t appear that TE is their target since ATL is likely to take him. This I agree with.

Because all of the DE’s suck so they have to go either RB, CB, or WR and you’re not getting the best one at 30.

People are just being silly. Value doesn’t matter at all this year. We need 2 players from this draft that will help us get to the next step. It doesn’t matter at all “where” we draft these players. The only smokescreen here would be getting Javonte NC to slip to us. We’re definitely taking a RB.

They’ll have to get ahead of the Steelers if they want him. People keep saying this but there hasn’t been a single pre-draft smokescreen from this regime.

They’re going to trade up.

I was hoping we’d be sure so I could skip the regular season but now you don’t seem to be sure. Will we know by preseason? That would be very reassuring.

Last year I think it was 2nd quarters. This year 3rd. Rarely have we put together 4 solid quarters. Maybe 2 or 3 times.

The welfare system/Medicaid from top to bottom discriminates against single men who made the right decision to not have children.

I sure hope Trump runs again. Turnout would be through the roof and Dems would increase their margins. I expect him to “pretend” to run so he can shield himself from legal battles and raise money for the next few years. At some point in the next year, the GOP has to throw the guy overboard. Sooner the better since he’s fallen into total obscurity.

What makes you think both of those guys would be gone?

We got pretty lucky and caught 4 teams towards the end that were starting to collapse. I’m not expecting 13-4 this season. 11-6 sounds right.

You can bank on it. Every time they say “we’re good with guys in house” tells you what the pick is. No one can be THAT crazy. Which one will be there? We need better run blocking AND we need a capable RB. Fixing one doesn’t necessarily fix the other. Both is required. We’ll trade up for one if we have to.

This is what the Giants did: That coach benched Eli, which I thought was long overdue. 2 years late if you ask me. Then the fan base goes absolutely nuts and demands Eli be put back in. I still can’t get a straight answer on WHO’S decision that was to put him back in. Was it the Manning family? Now with Eli back in, they draft a RB with the top pick. Lol. People around the league erupt in laughter. Then they reach for Daniel Jones to try to fix the previous screw up. Then they try to lie and say that multiple teams were about to move up and draft Jones. Um......No. No one was trying to steal Jones from you. Lol. And here we are. Putting Eli back in set the team back 3-4 years. Total train wreck. No Giants fan will acknowledge any of those errors. They think great teams just appear magically.

Yeah, half of the fans were screaming for WR’s, the other half linemen. Personally, I think they need linemen more.

Safely? They drafted a RB instead of 4 pro-bowl QB’s and then reached for a QB to try to fix that mistake. This isn’t going to end well for the Giants.

I’m a Union Democrat also. I’m not a Progressive. Biden is the first President in my lifetime to even mention unions and working people. This infrastructure/jobs training/whatever else program that’s next up will be make or break for him. So far, they haven’t been able to drag him into any social issues. I think he’s very aware of the mistakes Obama made. If he just sticks to jobs/economy I think he’ll be impossible to beat. The whole political landscape changed. It’s funny because some of these same posters were here 10 years ago chasing the same ghosts in tan suits. That “smear” style of politics is coming to an end. As far as the GOP, they just let Trump take control of the PACS which will control the messaging and money flow to future candidates. That’s no a way forward at all. That’s a death spiral!
