I'd rather not punch down towards the phins and feel grateful at their expense. I'd rather look up at those Patriots days you mention or the recent Chiefs and not get overly enthralled with being regular season stalwarts who can't ever get over the hump. Josh Allen is simply too good to be fully satisfied with seeing the same glaring issues year after year, despite overwhelmingly winning against mediocre teams.

Bills fans have some unique ability to just pretend those defensive performances didn't happen as long as we have won a game in the last two weeks.

This is a team that is going to have to hide a bad defense against good teams in the playoffs and rely on keeping games close for Josh Allen to have a chance to win the game at the end. This offense and a few big plays/turnovers on defense is our formula to beat more talented teams.
