Tre White - no apology from Gronk
Bill_with_it replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
See now you are acting like a child. I stated nothing about getting anyone involved. I stated something like after the game show some sportsmanship something uou have been taught since 5-6 years old, something that true competitors do, walk over and just say i got carried away my bad. Its just like the coaches do after the game they walk over and immediately like mature men and persond indoctrinated in sportsmanship and respectfully have words. Why are you having a hard time with this? What Gronk did has no part in football or any where in sports. If you cant grasp that very simple concept, you are going to have a difficult time in life. -
Tre White - no apology from Gronk

Well you know something private to him. Sportsmanship like. Just like the coaches at the end of games, and as you are taught all your life growing up playing sports. At the end of the game he could have found him on the field and apologized in a quiet manner. Nothing like what you are suggesting. -
Why I wouldn't want Cousins in Buffalo
Bill_with_it replied to essential's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think he needs a strong supporting cast. I think he needs better offensive gameplan than what they have been doing. I have watched him numerous times. They rely too much on passing. They dont have a good balance. They often dial up the same plays over and over even after they have been shown to not work during the game. They refuse to make in game adjustments offensively. They really havent committed the effort to establish a running game. Rodgers and Brady dont win with what they have. Randall cobb, jordy nelson, rob gronkowski, and the myriad of wes welker copy cats scream strong supporting cast. Jordan Reed doesnt know how to block in the run game or just plain refuses too, and Jackson when he olayed for them was a deep ball specialist only. I realize hes not brady or rodgers, but you know there are 30 other teams that dont have those two. There are also superbowl winners not named brady or rodgers. Tom Brady led teams have lost superbowls. Speaking of money, yes money is a factor. I dont want the team to be put in sc purgatory as Whaley had us in, however, with the draft capital we have we could set the team around him for a while. Ps we broke the brinks truck open for a shell of a dt, I think its about time to do it for a player that can actually help us win. -
“Process” Players we are acquiring

I too think we are going to draft or acquire services of players that have a higher talent level at positions of need. Those guys will be team first guys too. -
Tre White - no apology from Gronk

Football is a team sport, physically demanding, and has a rule book that the sport is to be played within. While its physical, there is absolutely no reason nor any excuse for Gronkowski’s behavior on the field with regard to that play. Lets go play basketball and let me elbow you in the face when the ball isnt inbounded and see if that changes your tune. Gronkowski has no character whatsoever. -
Personally I love just about all the player transactions ip to date. There is something about these players that we are aquiring that truly give that “ run through a brick wall” cliche life as opposed to the numerous times in the past the facade of it was exposed. For instance the story of Benjamin knowing hes going to get surgery and playing with an injured knee going out their to proof hes not a quitter: http://m.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Benjamin-I-want-to-show-Im-not-a-quitter/fa3148fa-cc86-4fe3-b648-ea443b316e0f Its just a small sample of what is to come with regard to these player acquisitions. These players put the team first as opposed to themselves and its really refreshing.

Tre White - no apology from Gronk

An apology would be an admission of guilt, something that high character men who have a sliver of honor do. Thats not Gronk. He has no character, or honor in his entire body. -

I think some of the folks in here never watched the fellow play one down of football; simultaneously equating the redskins team to that of the browns revered history, then say Cousins sucks. Nevermind not having a relevant run game, a decent offensive game plan, terrible offensive line, and a below average defense. Somehow there are folks in here thst believe we havebto acquire brady/rodgers or bust. So they can then wallow in the playoffless misery that we are in for rternity. Its like some weird form of self inflicted torment. -
I disagree. We see what talented yet undisciplined and lacking in work ethic contributed to the team in years past. This year is about building a foundation for the future. You dont build a foundation by showing your team its ok to lose. That plants a seed of bad habit; something that hes worked so hard to get rid of. We might not win another game, but we shouldnt lose on purpose; thats unprofessional, lazy, and would destroy the foundation of this team whos searching for an identity.

What happened to Derek Carr?
Bill_with_it replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The line, coupled with defenses knowing exactly what the offense is trying to do. I watched Sean Lee audible almost everytime Carr audibled. Its as if Lee knew the audibles. I put that on the OC. Sure run plays that your team can run well, but also if you been running a play since week one and its lost its effectiveness week 4, probably time to take it out of the rotation... -
Oh Gilmore’s face!!!

Did you not think that Sean might have thought that a very inexperienced Brissett playing qb in a blizzard driving the full length if the field making a mistake somewher aling the lines wasnt part if the thought to punt? Thats what variables are. It isnt in a vacuum, sunny day, Andrew Luck as the qb. Its Brissett in a snow storm. -
97 runs today most in a game since 1981...
Bill_with_it replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cant be I was given the odds of going for it on 4/1. This must have happened at least 100 times since 81. -
I missed no point. I realized that we need to win. I also realized that giving a short field to an offense that moved 77 yards down the field isnt a good idea. Give them a longer field make them make a mistake or make them punt to play field position. Gives your offensive coordinator and staff a little more time to try and come up with some plays that will get you down the field.

Thise arent real time odds. Those are odds based in things that have previously happened under different circumstances than were of this game. You fail to recognize that very simple fact. As such im not going to reply to your posts there so incorrect and unsubstantiated it’s ridiculous. The posts you post are so emotionally distraught I have sympathy for you.

No i think giving the colts the ball 26 yards away from Adams confirmed distance in this weather would be really dumb. Considering they moved the ball fairly well. In this weather make them drive the full length of the field. Pin them back. More opportunities for a sack, fumble, strip, int, or just stop them as we did at their 31. Their punter averaged 38 yards. That puts us at roughly at the 31 if we just let it go. Gave Dennison a little more time to come up with a few more plays than the 5 or six that he ran. Which he clearlt did.
