  1. Good points Shaw, I agree with you on all of them. The last point you made on McD whom is constantly driving home the need for improvement. Learning more ways in which to achieve it. Combined with a locker room full of intelligent athletes. One more good draft is the logical assumption. The New Era Buffalo Bills football team is gearing to beat the Patriots. The process in a nutshell...
  2. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once and awhile. (The infamous dog14787 used to get this comment every once and awhile on TSW.) I always hated it when that happened...
  3. McBeane I get, Its a quick way to to GM and HC. Nothing added to be cute or witty IMO. McClappity on the other hand almost made me ignore a good post.
  4. Another Tommyknocker toon in transition...
  5. Good point eball, Get er done McBeane!
  6. The grit / mental toughness the Bills displayed in game 1. Showing more of the same game 2, better execution. Beating the G - men and the Jets back to back on the road impressed the hell out of me Oldtimer. MERCY!
  7. The Bills may already have the best D in the NFL and WR by committee results in better ball distribution IMO. I'm with you on enjoying what we are seeing now without getting to carried away with high expectations. On the other hand 28 points combined with stellar D is going to win a high percentage of the football games Buffalo plays. Combine that with the Bills are still a ways away from firing on all cylinders. Why not this season. Game 4 should be a good indicator of where we are now IMO. Thanks OP for the nice read, much appreciated.
  8. I think its nice to have a team full of players that for the most part are men of good character. A B caused one team to give up high draft picks for his services. Didn't like where he landed so did what he had to do to get released. Probably knowing all along the Pats would sign him. Myself personally, A B should be blackballed from the league IMO. To me this sets a bad example for other players. Act up, refuse to play, get rewarded. Maybe even win another Championship. Tell me how this helps other franchises in the NFL.
  9. Myself personally, without the living legend of Tom Brady, the Pats cheating ways/ bad character sinks the ship. I realize B B is a great coach, but when the boatload of NFL playground bully's lose Brady, arguably the best QB that every played the the game, The dynasty and everything that goes with it is over in my humble opinion Gu. No way would I ever trade the Bills or our history for anything ...
  10. The power forward/QB when called upon becomes a one man army and is by far the single hardest athlete to defend against on the grid iron IMO. Only a small handful of NFL starting signal callers have the skill set to pull it off (IMO) and Josh Allen is one of them. Cam Newton entered the NFL with the intentions of playing the game the way he always has using everything at his disposal including his own body to move the football. Much like Mike Vick. The difference I see between, Vick, Newton and Allen is above the shoulders. Josh Allen is the smartest QB in his draft class. Myself personally, this should translate into a safer style of play. Picking his spots much like Russell Wilson. Saving the best for crunch time, playoffs, Superbowl.
  11. Crayonz is still with us in spirit...
  12. Myself personally, the overall character of a football team is important to me. With that being said, I also believe in 2nd chances. Having the ability to take what would be NFL bad character players. Conforming them into the winning team concept is part of why the New England Patriots are head and shoulders above the rest of the league in my humble opinion. Ego's are huge in the NFL. When a big ego player joins the Pats they become a part of something bigger. The Patriot dynasty... (Bills > Pats)
  13. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills continue to fly under the radar, which is fine by me...
  14. My favorite nephew was also born on 9/11 and although it is a day we will all remember in our countries history with sadness. Its also a day to remember the good things in life and all the people that make our country great. Good people like my nephew Josh, and you SDS. Happy Birthday to our fearless leader as he reaches the half century mark. ( sounds old , I know ) Been there, done that...
  15. Exactly, If A B has become a locker room cancer anywhere he goes we don't want to hurt him. ( ok, maybe just a little ) but we need his mouth to stay working.
  16. Good posting, Nice call on A B...
  17. I think this was a real good game for the Air Allen O to learn from. ( I like that name ) Our Buffalo Bills football team really showed some grit today. Impressive despite the mistakes.
  18. I agree, so while the Pats may have one of the bests O's in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills on the other hand have arguably the best secondary Tom Brady will face all season. Not just Allen, the teeth of the Bills D is even hungrier... Thanks OP
  19. I think he earned it. Allen needs a guy he can lean on a little when the going gets tough, Singletary is that guy...
  20. Amazing odds were stacked against the Bills D today with the O caughing up the football 4 times. The O goes a negative 8 points in the 1st half I've never seen anything like it.
  21. O was rusty and it showed, What also showed was the growth and maturity of Allen to hang in there and pull out a win at crunch time. The kind of hard fought win that builds character. Nice job McD and Co.
  22. 4 turnovers, pick 6, Safety, on the road, down 16 - 0 Are you kidding me! MERCY!!!
  23. Logical https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/217864-oak-planning-to-suspend-ab-edit-apologized-playing/page/9/?tab=comments#comment-5965562
  24. Its just the opposite for me. I'm expecting Singletary to start his NFL career off with a bang to help Buffalo win a close one. I hope...
