He’s a part of Belichick / McDermott tree
-
It’s a solid class… For having the reputation as a recruiter I did expect more But he did land Mr Ohio

Well I don’t think fields has show himself to be a franchise quarterback yet either… Great runner and athlete… Very strong arm Just struggles to actually play quarterback between the hashmarks… he doesn’t process that fast and is slow through progressions… doesn’t trust his eyes… Tends to take off if his first 2 reads aren’t available Great physical make up but the other areas lacking I think Stroud is further along as a passer mentally than fields … he is accurate and pretty poised… can throw with some velocity or touch Where I think He will struggle is Going from a high-octane wide receiver friendly offense to the NFL … Guys we’re always open… It’s not always like that in the NFL He has a tendency to key on defenders and bring them to the party … That didn’t lead to a lot of picks in college… but it will in the pros His drop backs could be more crisp and efficient as he has had scissor feet on his drops which has effected his delivery occasionally he also Has a varied released point for no reason sometimes… Sometimes it goes back to his mechanics… Usually it’s nice and compact … But sometimes it becomes concave… Which makes him sail the ball overall I don’t think he is a cant miss franchise QB but he is very talented with the ability to develop into one.. But for the purpose of this thread if I had to say yes or no will he be a 12 year franchise quarterback… I lean to no I like him more than fields tho

I thought he was solid… high floor … middle ceiling just not a transcendent guy …. I liked his makeup a lot more than his arm… which is very good but not elite he is a great rhythm passer … and his poise is his best attribute I think he can be more easily defended than a mahomes or Allen or rodgers in his prime When the media hype Train calls you the best thing since sliced bread I tend to nitpick

Great college quarterback I don’t think he will be a franchise guy in the NFL

Malik Willis benched in Tennessee, Titans will start Josh Dobbs
Buffalo716 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ummm he is extremely behind where Allen was as a rookie from his processing to his ability to create plays and throw in rhythm… Willis doesn’t have 2 nfl throws in his arsenal rn -
Christmas storm could be “Paralyzing” for Buffalo

Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Buffalo716 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tre has been close to getting his hands on a few INTs…. he is not looking like a bum out there you can attack at will… if burrow tries to attack Tre too much he will make him pay …. Tre is playing aggressive and with confidence even if he has given up a few plays Tre is as much a mental corner as he is a physical one… he is a habitual film watcher and has great feel for route concepts His brains put his body in the right position And I think Joe will realize he cannot attack him on Monday night -
Christmas storm could be “Paralyzing” for Buffalo
Buffalo716 replied to CountDorkula's topic in Off the Wall
I believe it snowed for 40 or 50 straight days before the blizzard of 77… The lake froze early and piled all the snow onto it Then the winds came and blew all the snow off the lake into western New York… I believe only 10 inches fell that night of the storm… It was thousands of pounds of snow that had already fallen that did the damage For a 40 hr storm this was unparalleled … The blizzard of 77 had bad weather for weeks leading up -

Christmas storm could be “Paralyzing” for Buffalo
Buffalo716 replied to CountDorkula's topic in Off the Wall
I know there has been a few threads on this … but I really need to Get this off my chest on the main board I love you guys …. I love the bills fan base… from Buffalo NY to Tokyo Japan Since Friday , My city has been going through a lot of things… The worst winter storm in American history dropped On a city in a 40 hr period … Even the blizzard of 77 had like 50 straight days of snow and the wind blew it onto the city We had 40 mile an hour sustained winds… Gusts over 75 miles an hour… For 40+ straight hours… And getting pelted with snow… Freezing temperatures Hundreds of thousands of people lost power … People were stranded in cars… People who couldn’t survive in a car started to walk… Thousands of people who worked until 10 AM on Friday had the toughest decisions of their life to make Do I risk my life to go home to my family… Or do I stay at work for three days… Buffalo gets a reputation for snow… We are hearty people and we handle a lot… This was nothing we have ever seen I know a lot of homeless people on the east side… A lot of people who have nothing and no home And I have no idea how they are I know the storm is over… But we are going to have to deal with the aftermath prayers- 241 replies

Continuing yards after catch (YAC) mystery
Buffalo716 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel this has been hashed over many times Josh Allen and this offense is not a rhythm based attack… YAC Is typically designed on rhythm throws and drawn up designs … screens.. pick plays Josh is a thrower of the football … he wants AIR YARDS… he wants to push the ball downfield and make you respect his arm… he throws to the boundary … most YAC plays are designed within 10 yards of the LoS… our offense thrives 15-20 yards downfield where the windows are tighter and the separation is less You get Less YAC when you are throwing dimes 30 yards to the corner of the sideline -
Josh Allen doesn’t like Domed stadium supports open air
Buffalo716 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am pro open air and with you all the way But the actual gate attendance for that game he’s talking about was 65576 That was gate attendance not tickets sold Whether 65,000 people stay the entire game is debatable -

By 10 pm trump is listed at 70% chance of winning… by 11 still over 70%… Extremely high for 11 PM on election night By 4 AM after election night … still 70% chance By 4am most elections are decided… that is extremely high odds… Seeing as They know how many precincts are yet to be reported That is an enormous swing Can they be wrong? Yea but Americans always have an inkling of who the president is before the night (by 3-4am) is over in these modern times … trump clear.. Obama 2x clear… 04 bush clear … 2000 recount ( bush was declared the winner of Florida by 3am by under 2000 votes…there was an answer) But it triggered a recount by state law 96 Clinton clear , 92 Clinton clear Nobody had multiple states by the next morning in 2020 … It’s unheard of Hence why I got my money back from a bookie and that doesn’t happen… it’s not heard of in American democracy
