This is a good chance for me to let people know that I will always post anything I hear. If I see your request for more info and don't respond it's not because I don't see your request, it's because responding to all of them would clog up the board. If Mahomes had lost against the Jets he arguably would have been the biggest reason for it. His offense scored less against the Jaguars than ours did. Defense was the difference in those results, not the QB play. But that underscores my point - MVP is a subjective award that favors wins, not actual QB play. Purdy and Tua as recently as three weeks ago were #1 and #2 in MVP odds... It's a silly award. As far as who has actually been the best QB over 8 weeks of play I don't think anyone has been better than Allen, but there's a couple he might be even with. Even Cousins deserves some flowers but he never had a real chance at the award because of his team's defense and running game.

That's not a counterpoint lol... it's an entirely different point. I don't disagree either, but like I said none of the QBs in the competition have played clean football and all of them have been at least partially responsible for their losses.

If our defense had simply stopped Mac Jones in a 2 minute drill Allen would probably be the MVP favorite right now. Which shows you how pointless the award really is. But ultimately it is still likely to be the QB of the #1 seed in either conference, like it usually is. Part of me wonders if we'll finally get a non-QB MVP this year? McCaffrey? Hill? No one QB is clearly dominating the competition.

Their offense has had issues all year. They moved the ball against the Bears and Chargers, but so does everyone. Their defense has been winning games for them. Their issue is they have no above average pass catchers behind Kelce and their OL isn't playing as well.

Russ is awful!! He has Jeudy WIDE OPEN on a quick slant and throws it at his feet. Then takes a brutal sack on 3rd down to take them out of FG range. I would easily give up our 2nd for Jeudy right now. He is being wasted with a bad QB. But if Denver pulls this one out do they still want to trade people away?

Meh. I think the chance of Pratt getting his arm to the ball and then also picking it off are pretty small. I won't fault a QB for trying to make a play even if the result was bad.

I agree Purdy is average at best but that INT was more just an incredible job by Pratt than anything Purdy did.

One good thing about this inevitable Chiefs win is the Broncos have no reason to hang on to Jeudy. Season is over for them if that wasn't already obvious.

Yeah there's a weird phenomenon here will someone will excuse our defense by saying one of the TDs they gave up came after a turnover or a punt return that gave the offense good field position. As if that means the defense had no chance.

Jeudy is open constantly, Russ just misses the pass. He would look much better with a real QB throwing him the ball.

Yes but with the clock run way down at that point. When up by 2 scores in the 4th quarter you use the clock as another defender.
