The Chiefs don't need to take risks to win these games. They trust their defense, or when all else fails their special teams. Why wouldn't they? Someone is going to step up and make the play, or the other team will wilt under the pressure.

I'm just shocked so many people actually believe this. I fell for it briefly during the Chargers game when Rashee Rice had clearly suffered a season ending injury while the Chiefs were trailing. Stupid me. It won't happen again.

Nah they're a better team right now than they were last year. I know it makes no sense given the injuries. No true #1 WR, no LT, no #2 CB, a replacement level kicker. It doesn't matter. They are the ultimate "find a way" team. You aren't going to find it in any of the data. But it is right there in the win/loss record. One team managed to overcome them because one player did to them what they usually do to everyone else. Only one player in the entire league is capable of stopping 19-1 and the first ever three-peat.

Mahomes has never been the only reason they win like this. This year more than ever. Of course some weeks he's the reason, like last week. Everybody on the roster takes a turn. And sometimes the other team just screws it up on their own because they're intimidated by the aura.

So when they lost to this same team on Christmas last year, which ended a streak where they lost 5 games in 8, what did that mean in the end? It will be easier for everybody if you accept that they are going to win every single game exactly like this all the way to holding the Lombardi, unless one player stops them.

We aren't getting the #1 seed even if we win out. We need to go into Arrowhead and make sure Allen has the ball in his hands last. That's it. Any other outcome and they are three-peating, 100% for sure.

Where does this narrative come from? You win a bunch of close games one year after winning a bunch of close games all the way to the Lombardi, that isn't luck. That's their identity.

Raiders have been able to pick up more than just 1-2 yards on 1st down runs. We had to thread a lot of needles.

They're the best team in the league IMO. The way they beat the worst teams is the same way they beat the best teams. They lost to this same bad Raiders team on Christmas last year and everyone wrote their obituary. But they just kept finding a way to win when it counted. Personally I think the Bills are the one and only team that has a chance of stopping them.

The Chiefs make mistakes just so they can win by 3 and pump themselves up in the locker for a gritty victory. Every damn week it's the same story, all the way to the Super Bowl.

Both random kickers KC has signed in place of Butker has nailed every kick except for a 59 yarder. How do they do it? Even long time established kickers are struggling this year.

McDuffie is a good player but people talk about him like the Chiefs stole Champ Bailey from us when they traded up for him. He's vulnerable to giving up some big plays.
