Lynn took over after week 2 last year. Didnt really do anything different. This year we dont look much different. We dont pass more because our qb is not a good passer. The other defenses realize it. Not sure why its an issue that im pointing it out.

Based on what? Having bottom of the league passing stats for the entirety of his time as a starter? Or acting like a 7 year veteran still needs time to figure out that the WRs are there to throw to?

Why? Allen can help them this year and future years. Its worth it because his availability is at all time high and we are in a position of power with all the extra picks. It helps the team now and later. Thats why you do it.

The chargers and 49ers are about to be in a full blown rebuild. They are both going nowhere this year and I guarantee would be willing to move off of veterans. The 49ers are 0-5. You think they would be worried about keeping Pierre Garçon at this point? What are they going to do, go 1-15 with him instead of 0-16? We have the right qb for it

2 completions for 14 yards? Thats probably what we will have against TB at halftime. Wont make a move for any real WRs and we will just get smothered on offense every week

I dont even see why one of them is necessary. Shady and Tolbert are fine. You have Jones on the roster and hes usually active. He made some nice plays in preseason. Give him a look.

Im not good with anything this offense is currently doing. Do I think right now we should be looking for a 2nd or 3rd string rb? No. We have the worst group of the WRs in the league. Thats going to cause us to not be able to run or pass. I would be much more worried about addressing that first.

How so? You dont think getting a Pierre Garçon or a Keenan Allen for a 3rd is reasonable? Those teams are going nowhere and would probably jump at the chance at getting anything for anyone. Those players are also much better then anyone we have and will most likely be twice as good as anyone we end up taking in the 3rd round next year.

182 yds per game in 2017 is just not good enough. You cant hit the qb, you cant touch the WRs, teams play fast and wide open. Just not good enough. We know what he is, we know what hes not....lets see the other guy

If we dont find a way to bring in at least 1, possibly 2 starting caliber WRs during this bye week...Im going to start to get aggravated with this GM. I dont like a lot of the roster moves made in the offseason and early part of the season, not addressing the WR position with viable professionals is going to be inexcusable. I dont want to hear about next years draft. We have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds. We can afford to give up a 3rd for a guy that can help us end the playoff drought. At some point you need to stop worrying about fairy tale futures and start taking advantage of the obtainable present

The worst part is the team trading the player almost never gets fair value. You can almost always steal guys for picks. The nfl over values draft picks so bad its sickening

The cards will be that we think Jones Holmes and K. Clay are good enough somehow and the Cheap way will cost us another season.

Our starters at WR arent good enough. You dont have to apply major problem solving skills to figure out our backups are no where near good enough.

This team did the same thing last year after Sammy got hurt. There is no urgency whatsoever about the WR position. We will just trot out backup trash and lose these games to anyone that can stop the run. Its the same thing every year
