Right on man, was nice of KC to gift wrap that win. So the win hurts our draft but yet helps our draft, things that make you go hmmm??
-
Yes Tyrod and his very limted system. Yes the rest of the team was not ready or willing to get behind Peterman IMO. The team played horrible including Peterman but it was his first start they should have simplified the game plan more like they do for our 7 year vet. IMO Tyrod would have been crushed just as bad in that LA game if he started since our old OC knows this team very well, especially Tyrod and his limited offensive scheme. McD did Tyrod a favor for not playing him from the start. If Tyrod had 3 horrible games in a row it would have for sure ended his career. Tyrod gets a fresh start this week let's see if he can get more then 50 yards this week, oh the excitement this offense brings with Tyrod at the helm. I can hear the fans with that KC chant now, ohhhh, ohhh ohhhh ohhhhh, ohhh ohhhhhhhhh another Bills loss. Ohhh, ohhh ohhh ohhhhh another 3 and out Punt punt puuunnnnt, punnnt stacked box

Like I said before IMO they will have a bunch more fun pounding on them with the backups then watching them lose a few slots in the draft.
-
The problem with keeping Tyrod is the limited Taylor made system. Do you want the new QB to play in a limited Taylor made system? Changing QBs mid season to a different more complex system is why the team was not ready for Petermans faster pace. Keeping Tyrod limits the way a OC can teach a team to be on the same page and limits the new young QBS learning IMO. I do not see any reason why a new OC would want to coach here with Tyrod a QB that will make him change his system day one. Even if a new young QB gets drafted in 2018 I do not see any good OCs wanting this type of setup that has every OC on the hot seat by midseason in Taylors limited system. OC#4

Maybe someday we will have a QB good enough to think we can win a NE game
-
Ha, I'm sure the Pats are looking forward to it. Even the scrubs will love it, like we have seen before. As for letting them win, dont count on it, too much fun pounding on Buffalo with the scrubs, just makes the starters feel even more superior. Going to be real ugly
-
You can not have one QB playing one scheme and the new young QB playing a different one and expect the rest of the team to be ready for the change in a mid season away game against a very good D. It is why having the Tyrod bridge is worthless. Of course the change had problems right out of the gate. All season this offense was in limited Tyrod mode then had to go to the complex fast moving Peterman mode, same thing will happen if Tyrod stays next season. You either train your new QBs to play in a limited Taylor made system or you make sure all your QBs learn and play the system you want so if there is a change mid season the rest of the team is on the same page and is ready. We need both QBs on the same page, why would any team want their QBs to play in a limited system? Limited success in a limited system, forever 7-9. Tyrod is holding this team back, time to move on from the QB Rex picked. The Tyrod era is the Rex era, when is the new era going to start?
-
Tyrod is not worth that kind of money, his era is over. Move on, stop wasting time and money on him. You can't build a offensive scheme special for Tyrod while teaching a young QB to play a different one, both QBs have to play the same system to be successful IMO.. Funny how many said to keep Fitz we will never replace him while we find a QB but yet here we are with a QB just as bad while still having no franchise worthy QB in sight. Get off the dam bridges.

So what happens if the Bills draft their franchise QB and...
xRUSHx replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What happens if they take a later round QB and keep Tyrod as the starter while getting better players in other positions and they still end up with no playoffs at 7-9? Do you really think this staff will be here in 2019 then? IMO not a chance, fans are done waiting on the bridge QB that never has a exit, Peterman is not the exit and the Tyrod bridge is full of holes. -
I did not say you I said the COT, are you a member? I addressed your post with the first paragraph, sorry if you felt I pointed it at you. BTW, this post isnt saying Peterman is all that just saying some people need to chill out a little towards him IMO. Guess your post of saying"Peterman is the answer after all" was a little smug and got me going.
-
This thread IMO is just showing the kid might not be as bad as the one half he played. SMH. Funny how the COT is out pushing hard on the kid for bad 2 quarters but forget about Tyrods 4 quarters and only 54 yards in his last start. I can imagine how bad Tyrod would have played if he started a game his first season, it took Tyrod 4 years on the bench to be even be considered a starter and that consideration wasn't even from the team that drafted him it was Rex.
-
No not at all. Fired for trying to get better? Truth is Tyrod is not good enough. Come on man McD showed me he isnt as blind as some when it comes to wanting to get better at QB. The kid got one start on the road against a very good D, I did not lose confidence in his choice to play him at all. All it proved to me was the team did not get behind the kid enough and also showed he needs to learn to tone down the start of a game, can't have all the big plays on the first few drives. McD should have had a softer game plan for him. SMH Petermaniacs? That type of name is sure a COT way of thinking and why they get blasted on so much as such a narrow minded bunch stuck in Baltimore's backup QB jock.
-
IMO regime changes are all linked to bad choices at the most important position in football. The QB position. If QB gets addressed proplerly this staff has a chance otherwise IMO they are toast.
-
Its about getting one worthy of calling a franchise QB. IMO even if they use more picks to move up some in this draft we can fill in with FAs and what is left of our draft picks then reload in the 2019 draft. The Bills do not have enough to fix the team all in one draft anyway but they do have the tools to get us a top QB from this draft. This is why IMO there is zero reason to win anymore games this season
-
Maybe they have a hidden deal with another team to trade with before the draft?
-
IMO SF will want picks and will take another QB later in the draft to sit behind Grap
-
After waiting so dam long for a QB worthy to call a franchise QB IMO most fans will give away the farm to get one of the top dogs.
-
It starts with the QB man. SF traded for Grap but yet there is still talk they may take another . That shows SF is getting more respect at finding a franchise worthy QB over the we need to many players talk so we need to just let a QB fall to us and use our picks for other positions. I'm all in for the trade up, go get our guy
-
Hey man I know the team has a bunch of needs but QB has to be the main goal for this draft IMO. I hope your right about Tyrod being let go, what worries me is the Chan/Fitz era and this team going down the same exact way.
-
I agree Allen is not a day one starter Goal should be to get a day one starter Rosen Darnold Baker
-
If Tyrod is the best they have and want to continue to sell Tyrod as the starter I hope they all get fired by 2019. IMO No way do they pay Tyrod for 2018 season, if he stays I want a new staff. I want better IMO Tyrod is the same cancer Mario was and IMO he will make sure a better QB will fail learning from him. I want a starter to learn to win games not pad stats and care only about stats. I want my starter to play as a starter not a backup from Baltimore
-
Right on with your post man. But I can see where the OP was going with the thread. I'd rather see this team give Peterman experence for next season over watching Tyrod a QB that hopefully will gone. Peterman playing this season gives him experence to sit on next season as the backup as our #1 pick starts day 1.
-
I hope some team other then Buffalo takes Jackson ahead of us. I will do back flips over it for sure.
