  1. Alright ladies & gents this is it. This is part 2 of the gauntlet that gets us to the Super Bowl. Let’s try to keep the insane takes to a minimum today. It takes all 60 minutes to win. The game won’t be decided on one play or one drive. This is in our house, we got this
  2. Ugh feel awful for the lions. Wanted a Bills vs Lions Super Bowl.
  3. So annoying that no one ever wants to interview Spags for head coach. I get his first run wasn’t great, but what an advantage to have an elite coordinator that never leaves.
  4. I’ve always viewed the All-Pro team as the team we would hypothetically send to the Olympics. A team that is so good across the board that we are trying to win at every position. In contrast I’ve viewed the MVP as a vote to who is going to lead a US select team comprised of college kids to win the hypothetical “World Cup”. What player is going to will their team of 53 to represent the USA and win the world title. By those standards I’ve got zero issue with Lamar 1st team all pro and Josh MVP. I think it also better differentiates the two titles.
  5. My biggest concern isn’t a “blunder” so much as it’s an all time classic that we lose. Back during the Rams loss when I was a little weak in my feelings I had made some comments about how I was so tired of us being the game of the year every year and winning NONE of them. 13 seconds, hail Murray, Vikings safety, 42 points in a loss, missed Bass kick, Broncos 12 men, I feel like I’m just scratching the surface. We have regularly been in these epic games that we find a way to lose. I so badly want to be in an epic game that we win.
  6. I bought my season tickets a month or so after he was announced as head coach. Between the Pegulas buying the team and Rex being named head coach I had a lot of faith in our future. I was partially right…
  7. Disclaimer: I’m a huge homer But….. I don’t care what you say. During our regular season meeting the momentum was shifting our way HARD and I felt like we were going to win that game until that god awful trick play call. Everything was lining up for Josh to throw on his cape and Lamar to shrink and that play killed all momentum. This was also down 3 of our defensive cornerstones. And while I love the guy, Baylon Spector was asked to do too damn much for what he’s capable of. Ontop of that we were away and the Ravens started the season off so shaky that it was almost a must win for them. Next week is a total different story. I have all the faith in the world in this team being able to win this game.
  8. They almost gave up on Bryce Young this year too. In retrospect that 2018 QB draft is looking pretty impressive. Josh, Lamar, Baker, and Darnold are all playing anywhere between great to historic football.
  9. Thank you to the Browns and Jets for shipping away Baker and Darnold rather than finding competent coaching and building around them.
  10. It’s amazing seeing teams so bad with clock management. You’ve got 2 timeouts and just got to the 10. Call a time out. No matter how dumb it is whenever it’s suggested, seriously teams need to consider consulting with Madden players some time. Or maybe just a common sense coach You can’t take the time outs with you…
  11. I say bring the MVP trophy to the game and whoever walks out winner grabs the trophy.
  12. This is a great hire for the Patriots. The Bills seemingly always are working towards building a team to beat the Chiefs. But the way Vrabel likes to play football, the team is geared very heavily towards beating Buffalo. I’m not sold on Maye yet and I don’t expect the Patriots to luck into a Derrick Henry anytime soon, but Vrabel & New England is a good pairing.
  13. What’s up with Reid lately those snaps have been pretty high today
  14. Cam Lewis criminally underrated, hope he’s ok
  15. Holy crap Dorian literally ran through a blocker and tackled him into the returner
  16. Curtis Samuel I knew you had this magic this whole time
  17. Playaction deep shot on first here and end it
  18. That’s an amazing catch. Can’t overturn that and even if they are planning on overturning that pretty sure the refs owe us one from that missed holding in the end zone. This absolutely is confirmed
  19. I honestly didn’t know you could do that to our defense…
  20. Chargers are cooked. Bring Khalil back home before he retires. He’s still got juice
  21. Lamar has had an absolutely unbelievable season. If he wins MVP I can’t be mad at that at all. That being said, 2023 Chugga is going to be LIVID. Last year I thought Josh should have won the MVP. He did everything you’re told to do. Have the numbers, finish the season incredibly strong, and have one of the top 2 teams in the conference. He did it all. But he lost. And we were all told yeah all that stuff above is nice but at the end of the day it’s really about wins and doing more with less - also cut down on the turnovers. Ok I’m not happy, but I get it. This year Josh loses WR1 & WR2 and Lamar gains a HOF RB. More with less? Josh essentially all but eliminates his turnovers. Then Josh wins more games and has quality wins over the two best teams in the league. So by what I’ve been told and based on the metrics we were told were being used, Josh is the MVP. It needs to make sense
  22. It’s a shame Vegas has moved so much. This is what I expected the whole time. Lamar would start in the pro bowl, get first team AP, and offensive player of the year, but Josh would get MVP due to the definitions of the awards. I honestly thought we were all on the same page. Apparently not. While id really like Josh to win an MVP to cement his legacy, if he does walk away empty handed again, I like the fire that is going to bring to the divisional round and on.
  23. I don’t think the list is as prestigious as you think it is. I don’t think the announcers were lying she likely has a vote. Look at last years list of voters it’s not awe inspiring.
