  1. Just keep running baby. I don't know why we were freaking passing while all BACKED UP!!! IDIOT DENNISON.
  2. Sigh... this is what I feared. WHY THROW from your endzone with a rookie QB on his first start????? edit:
  3. Fans like you guys deserve SHYT TEAMS because you keep digging up SHYT from the out house and serve it on your friggin dinner table. You just need SHYT to smell and look at all day don't you?
  4. Somebody did the work on the stats. We fans SORTA KINDA knew this - that when we get turnovers, we often don't turn them into points, due to the offense's INEPTITUDE. Here is the research how BAD we are at NOT creating points off turnovers: The rest of the discussion is cherry picking the points we all made in various discussions.
  5. OH NO.. TOLBERT IS OUT. I would have bet he'd have a huge game against his old team.

  7. LOL that season sounded like a laugh. Anyone got pictures of that lawn? in terms of turmoil, you're right. mid-season firing is bad. But I never liked Jauron as a coach. the most uninspired hire, as nice a man as he was. better than others before him who were just complete jokes. Still wasn't good. I expected him to get fired. The team was in its dark ages and I knew it. I was never emotionally invested in those Bills teams because I never saw the talent on the field or on the sidelines (coaching). Front offices were incompetent. Bills teams since 99 been filled with so many holes you can't even call it swiss cheese, it was mostly air! You have to have a lot of competent players and a sprinkling of star players to be competitive in the league. I don't know, I just didn't see rosters filled with competent players back then. Some were very good like Peters, Kyle W., but the rest were beyond mediocre. That's why guys like Lynch didn't shine here. I felt like since 2011 the average role player on the roster got better. And we added a few stars or potential stars here and there. I just saw that slow progression of acquiring better and better players, and improving coaching. I felt like the team is back on solid ground. Now it's about adding additional layering of competency. Of talent. better coaching. improving supporting programs like conditioning, strength, training, medical team. Like building a house. brick by brick. Organizationally it just feels like the team is more competently run now. It just needs to get up to that next rung of performance - consistent performance. Excellence is always about consistency. I don't even care about getting just to playoffs at this point. Get consistency across the board and winning will come. I just feel like Bills are at that stage of development in a team - cusp of consistency. Just needs to take that next step. So that's why I'm on the edge of my seat with this team. Once they reach that next level, you won't have to worry about them sucking again. Right now we do LOL. Sounds like I missed a good year LOL.
  8. LOL yeah definitely!!!!! Patent it. We're becoming that aren't we. Which was this? What happened in 89? Is that the flutie year? scratch that. that's 99.
  9. Yup. glad we didn't play them this year. tank masters drafted well. talent finally coming through in wins. Throwing mechanics are better. can seem to read the defense. 100 years younger with more upside. And he's running a conventional offense and being successful with it. Imagine if he had a creative/inventive OC like Greg Roman/A. Lynn, McVay.
  10. Well, Rex's last year had a tension about it BUT it was just one story. The only surprise was the Roman firing. everything else was heading down the way it did so no surprises for me. The only thing I hated was how much hate was propagated by the bull **** News. They fanned the expectations and they pushed the hate. I'm kinda including Whaley firing in this year bec. McDermott was hired in Jan so that signifies a new year (and technically the league year started in March). I thought they'd have fired Whaley end of year/beginning of year but didn't. So right at the draft end was a surprise . the pre-season trades were a surprise. the early good start was a surprise. then trading a starter in the middle of a playoff hunt. trading for KB who was supposed to help Tyrod. now the tyrod benching in a playoff hunt. So many goddamn surprises that I wasn't expecting. don't jinx it now LOL.
  11. Saban quit? wow. why? That was like a century ago too. how old are you? Flutie-Johnson yes but that's only 1 story. This one seemed to have had so many because of it involved so many characters and events.
  12. With all the firings hirings, surprise trades, QB changes, I think I have friggin PTSD. I keep thinking something else is gonna pop every friggin day. Has there been a more drama-filled Bills season?
  13. Why am I not surprised this is here.Well, let's just keep this thread live until he's no longer playing in the NFL ok? Otherwise we're going to have the same frickin arguments over and over again.
  14. I agree. if anyone should've gotten fired it was the coach, not Polian. Marv never helped the team recover from the psychological shock of the first superbowl loss. You can tell in replays the team went into a shocked mental state every time there were bad bounces in the game or they got behind. They shut down mentally and it was over at that point.
  15. Chargers are a tough match up for us, and not the best team to face for a rookie QB with this offense. they can stop both run and pass now - their whole team has been coming together. would've been better against Bucs Jets Colts. but this stretch of games is crappy and tough. That's why McD said there's no perfect time. So yeah be prepared to see a rough outing on Sunday. If he managed to hang in there kudos to him. He didn't guarantee Peterman the rest of the season in his Buffalo news conf. and this confirms it. so Tyrod may be back sooner rather than later - maybe even in LA if Peterman just looks lost in the first half. But if Peterman balls out, Tyrod lost his job. And that's his fault for not realizing that he can't be conservative when you're down 30 points.
  16. Peterman is going to face seriously rough test this sunday. Chargers have shown they can stop the best run-game in the league on their HOME TURF and made their horrible QB Bortles beat them with his arm. It almost worked, except Chargers beat themselves. I see a horrible time for Peterman - Chargers are going to shut down Shady. Peterman's going to have to throw to win for us. And Chargers are going to unleash their hunters after Peterman. If the kid's got game, it's going to show sunday. This is a TOUGH TEST for Nathan. This is BAPTISM BY FIRE. Let's see if he survives. If he doesn't, Tyrod's back in there. In that game or next week. Tyrod may not be done this year by ANY MEANS.
