  1. Has anyone considered Brady is GOAT because he played the Bills like 33 times?
  2. TE lol he has the hand/eye coordination of a T rex
  3. If they’re not that good then what are the Bills? How do you script getting run over by the man across you on every play?
  4. The Bucs have professional athletes at every position somehow. And on top of that they’re having fun. Must be nice.
  5. Edmunds deserve the bench and perhaps the locker room
  6. Josh is not the QB for 10 yard passes in tight red zone windows. He’s a ripper and you have to design better plays in there or take your EZ shots 30 yards out.
  7. This team would be 9-3 at least if they could score TDs in the red zone.
  8. This team is constantly improvising in-game because their week of practice and game plan turns out to blow up in their face the first half every week. Then they play catch up. Coaches suck, that starts with McD.
  9. He’d have 50 TDs per year passing 12 rushing
  10. These kids on the team don’t remember 20 years of pain. They’re just way less talented.
  11. You’re right but if we run it’s essentially a wasted down. So then 2 plays to get 10 and we die trying that.
  12. Josh Allen is the only talent on Offense. No one else punches above their weight.
  13. Meh. After reading this, while it offers a nice critique of the 2021 Bills, it doesn’t give any examples of Buffalo’s (the city) actual toughness, just describes a “hard-nosed identity”. I don’t think any Bills fan wants a team that plays like the Pats did just because it exemplifies their own identity. They just want the team to win, by any means necessary and no matter how pretty/ugly.
  14. Josh made plenty of throws that guys didn’t come up with that would have won the game too. The difficulty level was higher for him throwing with the wind then them catching/dropping it.
  15. This is fact but it’s stated in a way that makes you think McD turned a 6-10 team to 10-6 just by coaching. The personnel has changed and improved a lot compared to what Whaley gave them (something like <5 drafted players still on team after a decade). He’s not coaching the same or even the same caliber of players. He has Josh “friggin” Allen, not EJ Manuel or Tyrod Taylor. Josh on those crappy teams buys you 4 more wins alone, with no input from McD. This miraculous turnaround fantasy only makes sense in a vacuum.
  16. Feels pressure or is being outright told to run the ball at least 1x per set of downs by McD? When you look at when Daboll decides to run the ball it’s almost always 1st or 2nd down or after a big play, like to get it out of the way. It ultimately ends up a wasted down and now the O has 2 plays to get 10 yards vs 3. Whats the most parsimonious explanation for how an OC just forgot how to run an offense that was lit last year and has much the same personnel?
  17. The guy has a Ferrari (in Josh) and wants to go the speed limit in the city and not even take it out on the highway, he’ll use his beat up pickup for that.
  18. And then proceeded to have that trusted guy Not Do A Damn Thing back there returning punts. Showing he doesn’t even trust the trusted guy. I mean c’mon this is a total BS illogical answer. Shame on the people defending this as “open and honest” or “straight talk” or whatever. You made a bad personnel decision (McKenz) then compounded it with a bad coaching decision (don’t field punts) and you’re trying to defend those poor decisions. These things didn’t cost them the game, but are Exhibit A for his ego/stubbornness that do end up costing this team wins.
  19. McKenzie is valuable to this team in other ways, like kickoff returns, sweeps, and catching passes. McD could have put him back there and told him “don’t go near any damn punt or you’re cut” and done what Hyde did. He effectively took him out of the game completely for 1 of 4 things he does. Statistically there’s as much of a chance of McKenzie breaking one for a TD as fumbling but this dummy only focuses on the Colts outcome. Remember how McKenzie won the Jags game coach but someone held? Coaches personnel management is terrible and the McKenzie situation shows his myopic and limited perspectives.
  20. This is it right here. His prized MLB and TE both couldn’t do their jobs, making critical fumble-equivalent mistakes that cost us the game repeatedly. They weren’t benched and their sorry a@@es will be back in the lineup as normal. No real accountability on this team, just a facade for “fumblers”.
  21. McD seems better at coaching lesser talent (after getting blown out on occasion) than coaching good/great talent. This team is more competitive than the Whaley-fed teams, but record-wise, they’re only marginally better despite having superior talent. They made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor shouldn’t you win a lot with Josh Allen!? How good of a team does Beane have to field to get McD etc to get them to play like those scrubs in years 1-2? I don’t know. I’m not advocating for firing him today. But I do think that this could be his ceiling and that it’s not going to be good enough like you said.
