To the people who question Flores’ credibility or lack of integrity for not coming forward about the bribe to suck when it happened—it seems apparent that at least 2 and potentially many franchises suck on purpose to get better draft picks. The difference between choosing #1 vs 4 is huge. “Suck for luck” etc. I mean the Sabres did this openly. I’m all for not seeing the refs all game but in the long run this would just end up favoring or incentivizing teams that/to cheat. Or, at least those that play up against the rule book as much as possible. If the games are fun but KC gets away with holding every down. Not sure that’s more enjoyable to me.
