  1. Poyer and WLB are my biggest ?s going into the season.
  2. Not opposed to stealing from within the division at least.
  3. If I were saying he has no accountability, it would be because he was hired after the bulk of FAgency and the draft.
  4. my bet is that all Madden players run out of toilet paper at one time or another
  5. not opposed, but might want to go with young and hungry, or else wait for someone to get cut and scoop 'em
  6. Aside from TO and Mario, have we had very many others? Dockery? Clay? Feel like we've been trying to draft and develop, not that I'm against it. Regardless, good for Beane inheriting (a) sizable cap room next year, (b) two 1st round picks next year, and © a short-term get out of jail free card in that he arrived after FA and Draft for this offseason.
  7. The Pegulas being great business people themselves, I would hope they could stand to lose him.
  8. No way I'm doing this research, but wonder what the best practice squad for a team has been at any given time in the NFL
  9. Could you imagine the headache cross-referencing that?
  10. Brandon Beane look-a-like = Elliot's boyfriend on Scrubs who worked at Sea World https://www.google.com/search?q=scott+foley&rlz=1C1LENP_enUS708US708&oq=scott+foley&aqs=chrome.0.0l6.2392j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  11. False advertising! But really, uncool if the game does not have a mode where all players have huge goat heads...
  12. So how would this potentially work if we tried to stash him on the practice squad?
  13. Hope he brings up Russ Brandon with him, points at him, and just yells "NO MORE OF THIS BS! We've got a new Brandon in town."
  14. Dangit, I was going to buy that, too...
  15. Our quadruple option offense will strike fear into the heart of DCs. Move over Wildcat.
  16. Could be a steal of a move. Man, that Beane is killing it.
  17. One of my favorite characteristics in a player. Glad Jones does it because I haven't seen Watkins do it nearly as often as he should, and I like Watkins overall.
  18. Can't wait to see how Leslie runs the defense.
  19. DJ Lance in da haus
  20. Skipped pages 2-5, but kind of doubt I missed much in the way of new content. To get back to the issue in the thread, I do think who has the final say on the 53 man roster is important and something a Bills fan would reasonably care about as well as feel some justified entitlement to knowing about. If the answer is Beane, then control of the team is more evenly apportioned. If the answer is McDermott, then he obviously has complete control. There is a difference between the two, although not one that should impact who would get canned given the matched contract lengths. The difference speaks more to whether or not Beane is a true GM. If Beane does not have control of the final 53, then would his position not be better described as head of football operations, director of player personnel, or something similar. If the answer is anyone other than Beane or McDermott... yikes Probably answered in a press conference, so please forgive me in advance, but does the head coach still report to Brandon like did Marrone? (link) (Of note, and per that link, I was unaware that Rivera reports(ed?) to Gettleman.)
  21. Not pro- or anti- Whaley, but sinceriously wonder if he knows about this rule.
