    That's the whole point Allen can be statistically the greatest playoff QB in NFL history and it doesn't matter because McDermott's defense is going to choke it away in the end I have zero confidence he would be able to handle the pressure of a super bowl

    It's not going to happen w these guys you are arguing against They think Reid not winning SBs in Philly w McNabb is the functional equivalent of McDermott not winning SBs w Allen. They think he just needs more time. I've seen this very argument presented a hundred different ways

    Tbh I think Rex Ryan would have taken Allen further in the playoffs than McDermott. That's how little I think of the job McDermott's done thus far I get that you think he's great. We are too far apart to have a productive discussion.

    I love these posts McDermott is a sub .500 coach without Allen The Bills have grown into one of the best franchises in the NFL with Josh Allen.

    LaFleur w Allen would have almost certainly accomplished more than McDermott about 75% of HCs in the league probably would have He's been gifted one of the most talented QBs of all time and the weakest version of the AFCE in recent memory. You know how many other HCs could have turned that into 4 divisional losses?

    Serious question- what do you like so much about him? He strikes me as dull af, kind of thin skinned, panicky on the sidelines, and at this point a known gagger in the postseason.

    @FireChanswill tell you that game was Allen's fault Other shortcomings are Beane's, or include injuries, or exhaustion/emotional letdowns/special teams blunders You just have to give them time. McDermott has been granted more time w a better QB than 99% of NFL HCs will ever get and has absolutely nothing to show for it. At some point that will become clear.

    It is At some point everyone is going to come around to the fact that while McDermott has good qualities, hes not nearly good enough to get the bills to a championship Some of us just got there faster than others
