Agree that game was very much an outlier and I don't expect you can glean much about the defense in isolation...both teams were just landing haymakers left and right for me it wasn't so much that the defense was terrible, but the fact that even if they were just a little better a la the performances the Bengals defense seem to be able to summon in the right moments the Bills would and should have won that game anyway it's in the past and hopefully it stays there
