  1. At this point the Bills have no reason to put Allen back on the field and risk injury. Let him hold a clip board the rest of the year and hopefully he's a lot better next summer.
  2. McCoy doesn't fit the system. Put Murphy in there and let him plow into the pile for 4 yards. This offense can't recover from a running play that doesn't get back to the LOS. They can't overcome any negative plays.
  3. Should have never let all our offensive weapons leave and should have never gone into this season without a real NFL QB on the roster.
  4. He might need Tommy John surgery which is a 12 month rehab. We need a QB and some wide receivers who can run. Get those things and this team would be pretty good.
  5. He doesn't get it. He's trying to win games 14-13 in an age where other top teams are trying to win 40-35. Our whole team philosophy isn't in touch with current reality of the NFL and how easy it's supposed to be to score. The fact that we're going to average 10.7 PPG on offense after this game is just laughable.
  6. It's so unfortunate the Bills didn't go into this season with a real QB on the roster. This offensive debacle that has made this team unwatchable is 100% on McDermott and Beane. 10.7 PPG on offense in 2018 when there are some teams averaging more than 30 PPG. How the hell are we supposed to compete with this offensive personnel?
  7. McDermott is Dick Jauron 2.0. He plays not to lose, and it never works. There's never much attempt to actually outscore an opponent. We just hope the bounces go our way and we win close games.
  8. If the score stays as is, the Bills will be averaging 10.7 PPG. Absolutely pathetic.
  9. We don't have a single guy on our roster who can get behind the defense. That makes us unbelievably easy to defend.
  10. He's 31 years old and he still blows past CBs on a regular basis. You're renting the guy for 1 year. Hard to imagine him going from elite deep threat to useless player in a 12 month span. Thomas is a slowing down possession receiver. Allen's game is predicated on pushing the ball down the field. This offense desperately needs a deep threat who can actually get open deep, because right now there's plenty of evidence that Benjamin and Zay Jones can't do that, and Thomas isn't doing that in Denver. Adding a deep threat would open up the running game by allowing us to face fewer stacked boxes and it would give Allen more simple reads to attack. If he sees two high safeties, he's probably facing Cover 2 designed to limit Jackson. If he sees one safety move into the box and it looks like Cover 1 or Cover 3, you know you've got a guy on the outside who can beat his man deep, so attack that look when you get the shot. Personally I'd just sign Tyrell Williams and use 2-3 draft picks on wide receivers, and go into next year with Williams as my deep threat, Zay Jones as my #3, and let my rookies compete for the #2 gig.
  11. I just don't think Thomas is the guy who we need. Josh Allen desperately needs a deep threat who can take the top off a coverage. If you're trading a pick for a veteran WR, trade a pick for Desean Jackson. The guy is still an elite deep threat who would create space underneath for other pass catchers. I think he's a better fit with Allen. I'm not into trading picks away for players at this point, but that's the guy I'd go after if he's available.
  12. We don't need a good vet. We just need better players who we can build around on offense for the next several seasons. A one year rental with a $14 mil price tag is less valuable for this franchise and where we are in the rebuild than the 2nd or 3rd round pick it will take to get him. As I said, stop trading away draft picks on players nearing the end of their career. That's not a winning strategy in the NFL.
  13. Yeah, aside from McCoy we don't have any veteran assets left to trade. Our lack of players with trade value is a real indictment on the state of the franchise.
  14. Would love to see us trade McCoy for a pick. Benjamin for a ham sandwich would also be good.
  15. I'm not into it. I'm not trading a pick for a to be 31 year old receiver with a $17 mil cap hit next year, who we might only have for 1.5 years. This team needs to get younger. They need to start valuing their draft picks and bring in players they can build around on affordable contracts for 4-5 years. We need to stop trading away draft picks.
  16. Not a chance. He's too old and his play has been declining the last few years. No reason to trade anything for a rapidly declining asset with a huge price tag.
  17. He's pretty much worthless. A big, slow receiver who has steadily regressed over the past couple years and is in a contract year. If we could get a 7th round pick I'd be surprised.
  18. Agreed. I'm just pointing out why anyone would doubt this accusation is true, responding to someone's claim that everyone is now deemed guilty until proven innocent. This isn't Kelly's first idiot move and it won't be his last. You're a professional athlete. What are you doing stumbling around at 1 am on a Monday completely hammered?
  19. Right. Because so many potential imposters are hanging around outside at 1:30 in the morning.
  20. Why would you give him the benefit of the doubt? Someone called the cops because he was lurking outside their house, and then he attempted to enter the property. The cops then picked him up shortly after they arrived. What's left to wonder about given his lack of idiot activity in the past?
  21. We can do that next year. There is absolutely no reason to burn a draft pick and acquire Parker's contract when he's clearly shown throughout his career that he cannot stay healthy.
  22. Exactly. The supporting cast doesn't matter as much as people think when you're dealing with replacement level QB play. The Bills and the Cardinals are both terrible at throwing the ball because their QBs have been terrible all season.
