  1. This is the most "I'm old now get off my lawn" post in this thread
  2. Tunnel endzone where they put that long stretch of wheelchair seating would have been perfect for an outdoor bar like Tampa has
  3. The crowds are younger now - if I'm taking someone older I get front row of the 200 or 300 sections so they don't have to deal with the standing But I think killing the vibe by making everyone sit down is a bad idea - the younger fans going to games regardless of how the Bills play are going to keep the franchise going in the next decade. Let them drink and be merry. I think the Patriots have cues on their jumbotron saying "shhhhhhhhh" when the Pats are on offense, and I think doing something like that would help. Newer fans don't know the etiquette and wouldn't know to sit down during an offensive possession.
  4. He's fine, but drafting his successor next year wouldn't be a terrible idea
  5. How do you get passes for the Bud Light tailgate in the tent across Abbott opposite the scoreboard? That looked cool and we heard rumors you could get passes in another lot
  6. We had Norwood back when we were on a winning streak in 2011 and then the team went to hell the rest of the season. So that can backfire.
  7. For as long as I can remember, the Bills have always played "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins during their pregame warmups. This past Thursday they started playing the song, but about 10 seconds in they cut it off and started playing some generic hip-hop song instead. Kind of made me mad. After Pegula bought the team in 2014 they switched it to some metal version of "In the Air Tonight", but then the next week they switched it back. Does anyone know of other gameday superstitions the Bills have had throughout the years? I remember Ralph used to trot out the old goalpost pads from circa-40 years ago at seemingly random times and I always wondered what that was about.
  8. Congrats to Colton Schmidt, 2016 Buffalo Bills MVP
  9. @Baltimore Jets Arizona @New England @Los Angeles San Francisco @Miami New England @Seattle @Cincinnati Jacksonville @Oakland Pittsburgh Cleveland Miami @Jets
  10. If Ralph would have played Flutie instead of Johnson we would have beat the Titans and won the Super Bowl that year. Ralph was an idiot. Doug is forever cool - he saved the team.
  11. Alex Tanney - plays for the Titans now, started a game last year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Tanney
  12. "They moved to Buffalo when he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, settling at 90 Norwood Ave." ...90 ...Norwood ..................................
  13. The first game after 9/11 when I walked over during pregame to shout "good luck!" at the players coming out of the tunnel like I usually did, but a bunch of security swarmed me and said if I didn't have seats next to the tunnel I couldn't stand there. Broke my heart.
  14. I remember Paul Maguire telling a story about him and one of his teammates going to a place in Buffalo years ago that advertised All You Can Eat Crab Legs. They were determined to eat their jersey number in crab legs - Magure's jersey in Buffalo was #55. They both got kicked out and banned from the restaurant.
  15. Have the NCAA Champion team play the NFL All-Stars every year the night before the Super Bowl. It would be like a Globetrotters exhibition
  16. It's good to see Hillary Clinton's team has already found new work with the Buffalo Bills since they won't be winning an election anytime soon
