Yeah just being fair though, everyone else showed up and a few guys such as TT certainly had some hard swallows this offseason watching Brock and company sign these funny money deals. TT is going to need Sammy to get his paycheck and vice versa, do your teammates the same way they do you. Show up and do it 100, I think that's the phrase the kids use now a days. I'm not bashing him but clearly the team is all in and I'm impressed with the otherwise perfect attendance.

Yeah sucks that the two best LB's are hurt though. The Smith situation is more interesting to me because he is a possibility for us. With the way his insurance policy is written the lower he gets drafted the more money he gets. Part of me wonders if once they realized the significance of the injury him and his agent knew they had to protect themselves and declaring him out for 16' will maximize that policy. I have no doubt he will sit out but making that announcement so early and eliminating any chance of playing is dollars and sense.

Who was it on the play that gave Deion Lewis a free release for a touchdown in the Patriots game? I remember having Brady and that offense stifled and piling up hits, then our LDE decided to come up field and ignore his assignment. Maybe he didn't understand the play? I do remember that dummy Rex flipping his **** after in disgust because it was the perfect play call and it was 3rd down.

So if we lose it's all on Rex if we win it's because of Whaley and the oline coach. Gold. More gold, your willing to bet the team won't have a total of 30 sacks. Look at that stats Buffalo was one of 4 or 5 teams that had under 30 sacks. This would be a terrible bet on your part. The defense was in its first year in the scheme and some guys...like the one your defending...not only deviated from it but at times to say they purposely coasted would be more than fair. That's a big portion of your cap and supposed talent sitting there playing paddy cake. Odds are that even a bad pash rushing team can back into 30. Natural improvement, injuries, draft picks, and the wreckless aggression that we will see are a lock to get more than 30 sacks. Good or bad Rex is going to turn the guys loose after this past year and I don't even think that's debatable.

Yep, fans included! I will be happy that he shows up and does not fall into that big divide his agent has been creating in the press. The NFL is as cut throat as it gets with contracts but if he believes in himself and his abilities he is less than a year away from cashing in. Put in the work, stay true to your teammates and don't ruin the goodwill you have built up with your fans. The fan in me hates drafting oline because it's boring but when I think about TT I hope they find him a legit RT.

Ehh at least he is being honest. I guess he it would have been a selfless move to explain to the kid that his stock was never going to be higher and he had no intention on molding his system to fit Cardale.

Mario will pick and choose his match ups and effort levels on Sundays while playing for a care free fan base. I wouldn't doubt him putting up some meaningless sacks against some bad RT's. Until he comes to terms with no longer "earning" an NFL paycheck it will be a return to the status quo... He will follow that with a final year of futility and ride off into the sunset on his xbox remote.

The Pegula's shouldn't just automatically clean house if we miss the playoffs again. The 2016 season could go any number of ways, some of them could show traits of sustainable success without leading to a playoff birth. If Whaley does a good job in the draft and Rex gets the players and coaches on the same page on defense we could see major improvements. Those same improvements could be coupled with a season of regression from a young inexperienced QB like TT. That most likely won't equate to playoffs. For point of the arguement let's say they draft a mid-late round QB and he is showing promise in camp and preseason etc...it's conceivable that we could be closer to building a winning team with long term potential than we have in almost two decades. It would be a shame to tear it all down because you missed your 2016 "ultimatum" as an owner. Whaley is a middle of the pack GM who really has a chance to prove himself this year. The talent mixture and depth really projects well at our biggest positions of need.

Astro's Top Run-Blocking Players in the Draft
CommonCents replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good stuff Astro. If there ever was a phrase "best fit available" Boyd would be near the top of Buffalo's list. He is the best route runner in this draft, has vice grips for hands, can return kicks, has a blocking mentality and an attitude that could push Sammy to the next level. They would compliment each other very well. Sorry for banging the deck so hard for this kid but this is the classic case of natural football player vs. combine heros...he is going to be a better pro than a lot of these other guys getting projected above him. -

I saw Boyd on that list, I'm high on him. Haven't heard much about him on TBD. Maybe it's where he is projected more than his skill set. -
All Brady and nothing else? They won 11 games with Matt freaking Cassle. We hate the Patriots for a reason...if it was just the 6th round pick out of Michigan beating us down the hate wouldn't be so deep. The Pats function like a well oiled machine from top to bottom, they have mastered the art of bending the rules, compiling draft picks, and getting players to sign deals that must drive the players association nuts.

"MOCK DRAFT" Rounds 1-5,love to here some feed back.
CommonCents replied to Gamache518's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like some of your picks but if we use another first rounder on a WR we get what we deserve. A running team using 3 straight first rounders on WR's would be terribly stupid. We don't pass the ball enough too utilize them and we just paid top dollar for a pass catching tight end. It would be a simple case of to much talent not enough targets. Good WR's are found in all rounds of the draft and UDFA's, don't blow your load on the shiniest thing you see. -
Ufgh I am a fool, I googled the movie and saw his named mentioned as (exclusive) on the Hollywood reporter. Not sure what that means ... Sounds like Nate Parker directed it and stars in it, nice chunk of change from Fox for the film though.

Bernie Made Off developed the greatest scam of all time. The name is fitting. What would Hildabeasts last name be to groove with her political career? Been trying to come up with something clever.
