The best time to speak out is when you have lost 30 pounds of muscle, been benched for Blaine Gabbert, and recently been fined for saying racially insensitive remarks at your place of employment!! But wait....first you want to make sure you gain a reputation as a self absorbed ass hat...then when everything is pointed south you take your stand and flip the script on Merica. I'm done walking around calling opposing playing the N word, I'm now ready to lead a movement to end oppression. Yeah ok. Ray Rice, Greg Hardy and Josh Brown are going to hold marriage counseling courses for anyone that's interested. -
Terrance Knighton cut by Pats

Pats are good with playbooks and rule bending, I'm not so sure they are above average at handling personnel. Knighton was outplayed by a younger/cheaper player and lost his spot, I haven't heard anything about him being in bad shape or anything negative. IMO he would still be a solid role player who can be a plus player if you limit his snaps. -
Nice drafts, I finished up with 7 RB's, I don't give receivers much value after the middle rounds have passed by. WR's Julio ARob Evans M. Jones RB's Rawls, Langford, Dixon, Perkins, Booker, Payne, Foster QB's Luck Seattle defense and McManus for kicker. The strategy is that one or two of the young backs explode into a high end RB. Also made it a point to draft behind older starting backs like Johnathan Stewart to better my chances at gaining a starting back. Dixon looked great until the knee sprain...oh well odds in my favor I hope.

He didn't get on the field for game 3 of the preseason, read into it what you want but Anthony Johnson was impressive throughout the offseason and may just out worked him. I'm assuming with this cut Johnson makes the team. Potroast = worth a look -
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, ahhhh nice no local announcers. Never thought I'd be happy to hear either of those voices.

Drafted last in my ten team standard keepe. Had Julio. Drafted Robinson Evans Rawls Langford Walker Luck Foster Seattle D Going RB the rest of the way out

Sox Fan: I am impressed with the decisions you guys made at the deadline, things are trending up in NY. Would like to see two good young ball clubs reignite the rivalry.

Theo Epstein. All day everyday. His stock will be at an all time high after the Sox and Cubs meet in the WS. Come on get with the times Theo, the NFL is king.

Chargers finally sign Bosa: Who blinked?
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Shaq is going to transition better to the NFL than Bosa, just my opinion...but I wouldn't even trade him straight up for JB. -
Josh Gordon - Would you trade for him?
CommonCents replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Gordon only plays on grass. He is not coming to Buffalo. -
No more "probable" on NFL injury reports
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year 95% percent of players listed as probable played in their respective games. The problem with removing the probable designation is now some teams like NE will just designate players as questionable. That will cloud judgements for betting purposes and fantasy players, I'm not sure why they felt the need to change it. -
I agree, I'd take a fat Karlos over Herron if his head was screwed on straight (Which apparently it isn't). I think Herron was only brought here to offer some familiarity in the backfield while they got things sorted out. He never had much of a chance to stick even with the Karlos suspension and JWil DWI.

I see what your saying, my guess is that teams would rather work out some of the RB's who are destined to be cut in the next week or two.
-
An out of shape problem child might get a quick second look if he played a different position. Being fair to Karlos, he had a nice season last year when used in a complimentary role. He didn't show an ability to carry the workload and his injury history makes him undependable. If he gets in shape I could envision him getting a second chance once the season starts and the RB's start piling up on IR. I disagree that Karlos could be a lead back, with his style your better off keeping his carries low and maximizing his impact. The more times he runs upright through a hole the quicker he is going on the IR.

Our league is goofing around with a GOt theme I brain stormed.... Another week, Another Wun Wun Another week, Another One Won ...lame I know. I'm also considering drafting Vance McDonald, the 9ers will be passing a lot and he moves better than most people would expect, sleeper baby!

Matt Jones screwed up his shoulder today, I wouldn't be surprised if fat Karlos gets a chance down in DC.

Marcell Dareus entering rehab
CommonCents replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure why anyone would jump on his back if he is trying to better himself. He has had a rough life, he has followed that up with some bad decisions. Admitting those mistakes and entering a rehab program is a step in the right direction for a confused your man. Sure he is rich, sure he screwed up royally, to this point nothing he has done is irreversible. He can redeem himself and make that contract look a lot better by the time things are done. -
One dummy down.

I'm high on Mike Evans this year too, hoping to pair him with Julio (my keeper). Winston loves him and if Evans didn't have such a bad year with drops he would have been a stat machine. He started off slow last year with a bum hammy. I'm not a Gurley guy either, he is going to have some tough sledding in his division and the AFC Beast. How long can he hold up against 8 man fronts? Don't know where I'm picking yet, our draft order don't populate until 30 minutes prior but I'm pumped!

It's crazy in Boston over this kid. They offered his dad a head scouting job, bunch of rumors about Jimmy Hayes (another local kid) trying to dissuade Vesey from playing here. Hayes had a terrible year last year and the local media fried him. He projects to be a solid player and the price is cheap, I can see why folks around here are plugging for him so hard. Our salary cap situation is a mess. Stay local or go to Buffalo, I wouldn't mind seeing the Sabres win some things. It would soothe the pain for some of my fellow Bills fans.

People don't get it, Hogan is playing outside!!! They lost Lafell and are about to cut Dobson. Who I think could end up here if he does get cut.
