Total going to ignore the fact that a the guy who covers the Patriots for the Globe said that they are coached to adjust in their coverages and Gilmore isn't full speed yet? I mean he covers the team, he probably has as good anidea of what the teach over there. Sure you can just simplify things and say cover 2 his responsibilities are x but you nor anyone else knows if it's x, and y depending on the situation. All we know is the team leader took responsibility for it, wouldn't he do that in any case?

Bills Brass has it all worked out. The less explosive a player is the less chance they have at getting a serious injury.

FWIW Chris Gasper who covers the Patriots for the Boston Globe says he thinks Dmac made the right adjustment and Gilmore did not. Said the way they practice it is different than Gilmore would have don't previously and it's hard to blame him in his first game. I'm not sure how some posters are so sure of exactly how the Pats adjust in their coverages but it's sure entertaining.

Say what!? Gilmore is not worth the money, the Pats had extra money and made a bad decision with it. I said it then and I will say it again Bouye would have been a better, cheaper signing for them. I also said losing Logan Ryan who was one of the highest rated tacklers playing CB would hurt their defense. Remember back to the 200 yard games the Bills let up to Ajayi, you need guys that won't/can't tackle like Gilmore on the field for the to happen. See Kareem Hunt. Sure it wasn't all Gilmore's fault but it helps create the avalanche.

Ninko retired, Mclellan IR, Hightower banged up, Harris is toast, Roberts coming off a bad camp, Marsh looks like a guy that should be told to take an Uber back to Seattle.
