Don't take yourself overly serious. How many bounces went the Bills way today? All of them? Still didn't win right? Perhaps that's a hint that they didn't belong. Outmatched today with the injuries but the effort was there.

This isn't a sunshine and rainbows thread. This is simply reaffirming that nothing changed today. The Bills played solid, disciplined football again. They are a few pieces short of being next level. Still a much better watch than last year.

They could both smother themselves with dollar bills and notes of disappointment. IMO they could do a Netflix documentary in about two years.

As I said before he will be lucky to land a deal similar to Allen Hurns.

The new guys have shown some foresight so they get off easy with me. I see what needs to happen and that might not be the best thing for 17' but long term it gives me hope. Keep competing. Nail the draft. End the misery. Don't trade away assets in hope of limping into a playoff birth.

Once you accept that the QB is a place holder and the roster is in flux you will better understand whats about to happen.

What are you going to do when #25 goes down? Call for another trade? It just doesn't make sense to trade future assets in hopes of plugging a hole on a middling roster that lacks depth.

Go for what exactly? It's an overachieving team playing their asses of for what looks to be a 7-9 season. That's a good job by McBeane and all the talk will be about the Bills stockpile of picks come this spring. This season was all about not face planting and so far they have accomplished that whilst sending some me first guys packing. A job well done, making moves for the non existent "now" would be a set back.

The new guys have a bunch more changes to make, no need to invest anything further into this season. Keep the guys playing hard then execute during the offseason.

The Bills have played well all season and dare I say over achieved. With the injuries, place and timing of this weeks games this was the expected result. Anyone that has gone off the rails over an offense falling flat with Zay Zay as their number 1 WR is bonkers. The Bills played hard again today, almost hard enough to win a game they had no buisness winning. Heal up on the bye week and take down a shaky Bucs team.

The Bengals are more than capable at CB and have some depth. Not that it will matter against the Bills air raid attack.

It doesn't exactly justify a bad trade when a GM later says hey well the other guy I was going to pick was even worse!

Greg Bedard and the BSJ is a pay site, he gets a lot of subscribers from doing a weekly 2 hour radio/tv appearance on the Sports Hub. This allows him to connect with potential readers by displaying his understanding of the game and interacting with fans as they can call in and talk to him and the hosts directly. People enjoy that. He was making appearances long before he went off and did BSJ, I believe that's how he built a base. If you have a guy like that it would go a long way for you guys. If you already have a guy going on the air and fielding calls I apologize, I'm not in Buffalo so was just throwing out a friendly suggestion. Good luck.
