  1. No problem. It would have added an interesting strategy to the season. When do you sit your quarterback or star edge rusher?
  2. Hi Gugny: Where did you see this? I have looked online and I can not find where it states that each player will be restricted to playing 16 games in a regular season? It makes sense if the NFL is trying to look like player safety is taken into consideration
  3. That is one way to interpret the situation. I stand by my take. I am not saying the total compensation won't be near market value. I am saying the Josh contract will be structured to be team friendly. He wants to win and have a talented team around him.
  4. IMHO that doesn't sound like Josh. He is a team first guy. He will take care if himself with an eye on helping the team. He saw the results of Brady helping the Pat's with his salary.
  5. I could see Josh following Tom Brady's example and go for the total dollars he deserves, but make the terms team friendly.
  6. The Bills trend has not been one season. Look at the Bill's trend since 2017. This is truly apples and oranges. The Sabres are a poorly run organization. The Bills have top level management and are a class operation from top to bottom.
  7. I won't dump on you. That has already been done. Thanks for the effort.
  8. He has maintained the roster to a large extent. With limited cap space that is nothing short of a miracle. I would argue that he has improved the offense with the addition of Emmanuel Sanders. Beane had stated that his plan was to retain has many of our current players as he could and not make a big splash in free agency this year. by signing our top free agents he has avoided creating more need on our team and he can now take the best player available in the May draft. I am not sure what more you could expect of Beane given the current financial situation..
  9. I am so ashamed. I will try to do better. I crave your approval.
  10. You're right. What is Beane thinking??? What has he done for us lately??? Beane has no clue what he is doing. We are doomed!!!
  11. I know I am in the minority, but our offense is the strongest part of our team. I see our needs as 1) pass rusher, 2) CB2, 3) TE. Just my humble and very uninformed opinion.
  12. I'm 68 kid. You obviously don't remember Paul Costa. He was awesome! Your "history" started in the late 70's at best. There was a significant amount of Biils history before you were potty trained.
  13. Yes, he is more versatile and has stayed healthy. He should also be less expensive to sign. Agreed.
  14. Don't re-sign Robert's. Sign McKenzie instead.
  15. No. Feliciano provide versatility and depth. he should be cheap to resign.
  16. Beane is the king. Long live the king!
  17. I understand the injury concerns, BUT I AM PUMPED UP!!!!!! I did not expect this. GO BILLS!!!
  18. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed, did you? This is a PR statement to let fans know the mind set of the ownership. That is what Kim's statement accomplished. Not sure why the anger. Take a deep breath, realize how far the Bills have come in the last four years, let that smile start to develop, and lighten up Francis.
  19. In my opinion, Watt would have helped us as much with shoring up our run defense as he would our pass rush. I wanted the Bills to sign him, but not at the price the Cardinals paid. That would have limited what we could do to prepare for the 2021 season. I am hopeful that Star can come back and be effective with helping our run defense. We are in great shape and Beane will fill our needs by finding the best options for us that our financial situation will allow. Watt was not the cornerstone to build our 2021 season. We should be okay with out JJ. IMHO
  20. One step at a time. Keep the faith in Beane. He has not disappointed so far. He has to make some cap space and he will find hidden gems in free agency. Long Live he Process !!!!!
  21. Now let's try to sign Williams, Feliciano, and Milano or at least two of the three!
  22. Not a fan of Levi starting. He is decent depth, but that us his ceiling. IMHO.
  23. My wife and I have friends that live in Coventry UK. Their son play QB at their professional level. He has played on a team in Germany and in, I believe Norway.
  24. I played tight end and defensive end in high-school in the late 60s - 70. It helped some but today's game is so different and much more sofisticated. By the way, those leather helmets were a pain.
