  1. OP the premise of your post is based on your observation and you've framed the debate as if it's a fact that neither QB developed from 2015 to 2016. I think Tyrod's dip in passing performance can be largely attributed to Watkins missing 10 games and Woods tearing his MCL, and the fact that Clay has a chronic knee and doesn't practice. Goodwin was also banged up. So Tyrod's performance was expectedly off due to personnel injuries.
  2. Lynn hasn't had much success getting promoted, but he finally got his shot and did well as OC this year. Tyrod is his QB will that prevent a conflict with Whaley and management assuming that's what they discussed in his interview today?
  3. Here's my ranking of our top trade bait: Dareus - age 26 (possible 1st round) Gilmore - age 26 (possible 1st round) Watkins - age 23 (possible 2nd round) Taylor - age 27 (possible 2nd round) Darby - age 22 (possible 2nd round) Glenn - age 27 (possible 2nd round) Lawson - age 22 (possible 2nd round) Miller - age 23 (possible 2nd round) Kouandjio - age 23 (possible 3rd round) J. Hughes - age 28 (possible 4th round)
  4. What about a 6'3-6'6 receiver?
  5. The media seemed hyper focused on analyzing who fired Rex, how, and what role Whaley played in benching Taylor. It was an interesting 45 minute convo. I'm sure Whaley hit the showers afterwards. When does Russ Brandon address the media?
  6. Choppa from Blo to the Roc would be nice.
  7. Guess no one was accountable for the ball on that play.
  8. What are the odds you draft a QB as good as Aaron Rodgers?
  9. Whaley & Brandon or Brandon & Whaley. Both must go to bring the playoffs back to Buffalo.
  10. Cardale looks okay. I'd like to keep Tyrod and draft the best QB we can in the draft to compete.
  11. I think Tyrod is right to avoid the media jerk offs that salivate with every mispeak particularly Bucky & Jerry. As for the Capaccio's and Buscgalia's and other Italians who attempt to do an honest job, I think it is wrong to avoid their questions.
  12. Why don't we blow it up and rebuild from scratch?
  13. Accountability doesn't mean crap. If you get manhandled by the guy you are going up against are you accountable? If the scheme or skill isn't good enough you lose.
  14. I blame whip cream & red wine. Rex is one stallion in the sack.
  15. In other words a 39 year old QB leads in all 4 categories.
  16. What's causing this cord cutting revolution is the basic law of economics. The millennial generation and many older generations are realizing that cable tv is crap. Gimme YouTube & Facebook and sites like WGR & TBD and I can follow the Bills better than a network like ESPN can. If you are Cowboys or Patriots fan I bet you don't mind the nob job coverage ESPN gives your squad.
  17. What are the odds that Russ Brandon gets fired?
  18. Florida Marlins Owner: "Russ who?" Russ Brandon: "Brandon" Florida Marlins Owner: "It's been 20 years." Russ Brandon: "Yeah I know...Buffalo." Florida Marlins Owner: "The last 17 years have been pretty bad for Buffalo." Russ Brandon: "Yeah, it was general managers." Florida Marlins Owner: "Get off my porch!"
  19. "Who younger, cheaper?" Bill Belichick
  20. Well maybe they are planning on tanking. Will let Gilmore and the other 22 FA's go and try and start building the team through the draft. Who knows? But I can tell you one thing, Anthony Lynn is a disaster as a HC. I'm all for giving a guy a chance, but this guy needs to be throughly scrutinized.
  21. Donald Jones: "When you start blaming people....that's dysfunctional." Wow Donald, as fans we can't listen to the radio, read articles, go to games, watch them on tv, watch replays / All 22, and not have the right to blame people? This is a very Orwellian approach. Why are we not allowed to ask critical questions? This franchise is the laughingstock of the league and is a doormat for 17 years under 2 different owners. Something is messed up and we want to blame people, especially someone like Russ Brandon who has been at the helm for far too long.
  22. This organization is a joke. If Lynn becomes HC we are lost for 2 years. We need a smart HC, not a company yes man.
  23. You would be absolutely correct sir.
  24. I'm with those who say the Pegula's look like lottery winners who struck it rich and got lucky. They do not appear to have a clue of what it takes to build a winner. Let's look at their brief history since taking over the Sabres in February 2011; Pat Lafontaine quits or is fired, Doug Marrone walks away from the Bills, Rex Ryan schmoozes with the Pegula's on their luxury yacht and brings the bottle of red Brandon said Terry had a penchant for. Rex Ryan is hired at $5 million a year on a 5 year contract. Reports start leaking as early as Dec 15 that Rex could be fired without the playoffs in year 2. Flash forward to week 2, Greg Roman is fired after involvement from the owners holding a players only meeting. Early Dec 16 reports begin to swirl hours before the Pittsburgh game that Rex could be fired and Tyrod benched if they lose. Rex is fired 2 weeks later, and the team issues a 5 paragraph statement to the public. The very next day interim coach Anthony Lynn is trotted before the media meanwhile Whaley & Pegula fail to address the media, and Lynn basically says higher management benched Tyrod and they'd have to ask Whaley or Pegula why. Does this sound like a franchise that has a clue of what the hell they are doing?
