Legit, non-snarky question. If it's dangerous for the defense to go low to take out a blocker, why is it legal for a blocker to go low to take out a blitzer. Feels like the same interaction. It's either dangerous or it's not.
Because when Rodgers leads a "miraculous" drive here it gives them something to talk about and it keeps the NYC market engaged.
They've spent a year and a half pumping that up. They're going to see it through.
Sure, clears the way for Rodgers to fire a ball out of his butt cheeks for a 70 yard TD. The Jets will go for the tie, fumble the snap and then run it in for two.
Other teams? Sure, they'll knock in 60 yarders in a freaking downpour to win. 59 yard career bests to win. Hail Marys left and right. Bills? Can't kick extra points.
Once again the gameplan has become, go ahead and just run around and do something Josh. Especially when they blitz. Then it's huck it up there and pray.
It's funny, the other day we wondered if it was possible to have a good 4-1 loss. I watched the 3rd and am wondering if it is possible to have a dogass 5-2 win?
Also, Spencer Knight is somehow terrible. Like really terrible.
Thought about watching the game tonight now that the Penn State game is over. Checked the score. No need to waste my time. Grateful for the time saved.
