Why do you hate parody?
-
As an engineer, I agree wholeheartedly
-
Well actually, stop really means check all directions for conflicting traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian, before proceeding. If you can do that before physically coming to a complete stop then you're all good! It's just too many words to fit on the sign and it would require a higher understanding of the English language than STOP, which would further oppress immigrants - legal or otherwise.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

A fleck of ash is larger than a virus, so I'm not entirely sure it would be considered a reduction. -
No, no. They mostly just wanted haircuts. Don't you watch the news?

California (again)

DC Mayor suggested all protest participants go get tested (right after I scheduled mine...). If my doc office is swamped I'm cancelling. -
I don't much care if it's expanded personally, though I am glad to hear it sounds mostly consistent. I think a lot of the identitarian folks would classify Middle East & North Africa as 'POC' or 'Brown'. Honestly, I'm surprised someone hasn't already been outraged by this.
-
So incidents involving someone from the middle east or north Africa are typically classified as white? Or is that at the discretion of the officer?

Maybe it's a question best left to @Sig1Hunter @LeviF91 or @billsfan1959, but do law enforcement agencies use the same racial definitions in their reports as the US Census? Or is their a wider selection with different definitions? I'm curious about the impact that potential disparity might have on many of the widely circulated stats.

I mean, a lot of people are assuming it's (the subject's) gender with that chant. Not an assumption I'm willing to make, personally.

Thoughts. He'd think thoughts. -
Consider the mental gymnastics you have to go through to arrive at the decision that someone who has a bad opinion shouldn't be educated. Wouldn't it be a better idea to educate them and see how it impacts their opinions?

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Just scheduled my annual physical and tacked on a blood test for antibodies. Should be interesting since I commuted to work the entire time and interacted with a few people outside of work. -
The below leaked audio is what I'm referring to. Seriously, F that guy. https://twitter.com/BenjaminPDixon/status/1227067093692055553?s=19

I don't think that the conclusion of more cops causes more crime is correct, but on exhibit A we generally agree from a couple angles. Sentencing disparity for crack vs powder cocaine shouldn't really exist. And if I get a ticket for going 65 in a 55, and on my way to court the road is now 65 the ticket should be dropped. On exhibit b, absolutely. Bloomberg is a racist and he admitted as much when discussing stop and frisk. F that guy.

Trump has been in office for almost 4 years, and has touched way too many policies for me to comb through. Can I get the greatest hits? Maybe his top 3 most fascist policies in your opinion?

Beats me. I don't know much about Baltimore except that I like their aquarium and the harbor area with the sports stadiums. But would it really be surprising to see the same party that's been in power there continue trying the same fruitless strategies?

Enlighten me, how do you counter an argument that wasn't made? Please feel free to hit me with some points and I'd be happy to address or concede them.
-
Because it's still run by Democrats?

I'd just like to thank the OP for the well thought out, well reasoned, and well explained statement including facts and real life examples. It's truly rare to see that kind of argument these days. /s
