  1. And how many Refs were in position who could throw a flag? It isn't just one ref there watching the play, there were 2-3 who could have thrown the flag.
  2. Yes you go for the win....... two yards for the first down and 7 for a TD, that's all they needed and yes there was time on the clock, but likew they did vs. Tenn & NE, they were not prepared, didn't have a play ready, when you absolutely need it. Bad coaching imo. As for the game winning TD, this is the same excuses we got when Henry ran 76 for a TD, Fornette's TD or last weeks TD 64 yard TD....... Always an excuse, and sorry doesn't cut it. Have we had one big play or easy 50 yard TD this year? No a couple of great long passes, but that is about it.
  3. Just one call (and just get it right Refs) & today people talk about this game like the Oilers '93......
  4. I want to know the same. I did find this. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/penalty-differential.html?yr=2021&sort=firstdown The point is our DB's, LB's..... seem to get called a few times a game.
  5. And more stats. Tampa Bay 3 First Downs by Penalty (all Holding and PI), Bills one a 4 yard Roughing the Passer. Two more defensive penalties where a flag was thrown, but offsetting (both on 3rd down). So 5 penalties on the Bills secondary vs. 0 for the Bucs 11 QB hits on Allen & 4 on Brady. Add to that hits on Allen after running and only one flag.
  6. Not the first time & don't like it.....
  7. You forget lousy play calls. Haven't seen a creative call all year in the red zone.
  8. 1. They touched Brady maybe once all game.... 2. Marks were terrible, but yep I'm a homer. 3. Did you see the Bills penalties they called (btw not a single penalty on TB's secondary) 4.Thanks for actually agreeing 5. Bills penalties were significant. TB jumped the gun twice for piddly 5 yard penalties, one roughing the passer and the 10 yard penalty on a kick return. Bills penalties I think all accounted for first downs.
  9. That's when you get holding and other calls, when plays are extended, but play the Bills and the oppositions DBs never do that right?????😜
  10. Like the 4th down stop on Mac Jones last week, the Refs decided they were going to give them the first down regardless.
  11. Wasn't just three calls at the end (two non calls on Diggs and the Evans call), but there were so many inconsistencies and maybe someone can help in case I missed anything. Could have been 3-4 Roughing the Passer on TB Spots - Seemed the Bills they put the ball back 1 -2 yards on multiple calls, yet TB got favourable spots (am I just being a homer here?) Twice TB was called for penalties, only to be then offset by some call in the secondary by Buffalo (never saw replays). Both were third down incompletions and the second led to the 27-10 FG Diggs & others being mauled and that terrible non call where Diggs was grabbed (second quarter) and then lost the ball (would have been a TD) Outside two Offside and a 4 yd Roughing the Passer, TB had one other penalty (on a kick return). Hate when reffing imposes themselves on the result.
  12. No I turned on him when he named Peterman the starter.....😜 He's a good coach, does many things well, but he makes plenty of mistakes too.
  13. Mac's was down and Refs didn't care. Stupid challenge, but frustrating none the less. Those were the winning points. Spots were off all night and in TB's favour every time.
  14. I have not seen a good call in the red zone all year. Yes they score TD's, but is there one play where there is an interesting play design or formation. The best call all year was a 2-pt convert, where they ran a trick play. Fades to Diggs are not the play (especially on 3rd down). The Bills needed a TD, and the Ref ate his whistle like they did all game.
  15. Another long TD run vs. the Bills defense...... This is an issue.
  16. Fake punt & stuffed, followed by not going for it and TB marching for the 27-10 FG. He has no idea what call to make.
  17. NE is not a juggernaut that will win 10 straight.
  18. Again anyone think NE is so good that they're going 3-1 at worst (if Bills beat them)? Bills at worst should go 4-1. Starts today.....
  19. Football Reference says they were 17mph. Since I wasn't there, I do remember sun, but appears to have been some wind. Anyhow after NE, hopefully we'll see an actual football game.
  20. 59 in Fla (yep northern) and 16mph winds, not 100% ideal. Not clutching straws, just posting what I just read.
  21. Funny I just went through this year's schedule and outside NO and obviously inside the weather has had some effect every game. Wind in almost every game, some rain and never perfect conditions, which is where this team is at it's best. Interesting that even the Pitt game had a fair bit of wind 17mph. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2021.htm Or will complaints be about the humidity come Monday.
  22. Too bad the game wasn't played outdoors as it should have been in the elements.....Right😜 Wasn't he the guy they got in the Diggs trade? Why would you try and get the ball to your best receiver as much as possible????
  23. Absolutely right. Why do we have 180 lbs defensive backs out there, when NE has 8 men on the LOS and one receiver into block and 2 backs? I keep watching the play and the Bills were lined up very loose. Again I'm no expert, but while the Bills had a threat of a passing game, the Pats line stood up well. Conversely the Pats made no attempt to even look like they would throw and the Bills didn't seem to adapt. Here's highlights from the 1st quarter, Usually there is 5 vs. 5 on LOS. The Bills are playing tight and the Pats have receivers spread out. The TD run the Pats had 8 on the LOS vs. the Bills 4. They seemed in the wrong defense there.
  24. Again I ask, why did we look so loose on Defense and weren't crowding the LOS, when they showed no intent of passing? I'm a layman when it comes to defense, but everyone looked lost and we had only 4 on the LOS. They had 1 receiver on the line, I guess a TE and two backs & showed no intent to pass the ball. BTW wake me up when the Bills bust an easy 65 yard run like that....
  25. Yep I was outraged, but more I was looking as I am not an expert on X&O's to try and understand what happened there as it seemed to me it was 8 Pats on the line vs. 4 bills on a 3rd and 5 and looked like a terrible defensive scheme, especially since no way Jones could have thrown a 5 yard pass against that wind. It's similar to any 3rd & 3 when the DB is playing 10 yards off a receiver and it is a simple pass for a first down.
