  1. Watch the game & he is open. Call some easy reads to him too. How about yards after catch?
  2. But 4 times? Just wrong. Either plays of called or bad reads. Pretty obvious watching that Roman doing a bad job and bad job adjusting to get him the ball Btw Houston is 6-6 too.
  3. Because you win doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Houston got the ball with 2 minutes and could ave won (like the Bills complain they could have too in 5 of their losses). And Watkins hasn't had any YAC all year. Bombs are nice, but only one was in stride that should have been taken to the house (watkins did juggle it). I'd like to see him run with the ball like receivers generally do....
  4. Again averaging under 5 targets and 80-90th in the league is criminal. Hoyer finds Deandre 12+/game...... The Bills are 6-6 this year not 9-3......
  5. Yes 21 points the first half and then 10 the last 2 minutes. Again one target the second half to Watkins (53 yard reception).... The Bills were in a nip & tuck battle the entire game. Not nearly enough..... And it is hurting the offense the second halfs.
  6. First 21 throws is not enough and the game wasn't decided until throws 20 & 21..... An what about KC and 1 target in the second half and a loss. You want facts I'll give you them.... The FACT is we are 6 & 6 and that is barely on the fringes of a playoff spot and we refuse to design plays & formatios to throw consistently to our best player. Really pretty simple to figure out.
  7. Yes a win but too close (Defense again mediocre at home against a below average qb). But the Bills don't use Watkins properly. It s obvious to everyone but the OC. He lines up the same place, every catch is outside and they don't throw to him over the middle, a quick hitch, wr screen, slant...... You watch every great receiver in the NFL and they are lined up in different places, run different patterns where the ball is thrown to them and come an important 3rd down they are the target. Yes the first TD was a 3 yarder to Watkins, but that is exactly what your star is. How many third downs was he thrown too????? Once.....
  8. Tighter formations, in motions, move him around, quicker play calls.... Not necessarily hide, but when he lines up the exact same spot every play, it is way too predictable.
  9. As another poster stated..... The Bills are the only team in the league that knows how to stop Sammy, and they're damn good at it. Yes a win, but the Bills are the better team, at home and the game still came down to the last 2 minutes. 4 Targets, 3 completions (and one called back that was actually thrown over the middle). That is not enough. Was at the game and Sammy always lined up the same, outside and only a few times in the slot. They need to move him around or try and hide him. Again let's look at the Odell 11 targets, Julio 17, Brown 11...... He asked for 10 targets and the last 6 quarters 5!!!!!
  10. No I pointed out the Ten game that could have gone the other way and how though the Bills dominated the Jets, they let them back in the game too.......
  11. Yes the Bills have learned nothing. What is interesting/bothersome is that only one game were they outclassed and that was Cincy. The rest is the same old, same old pick a reason why they lost.
  12. Conversely easy wins vs. Miami X 2 & Indy..... Tight wins vs. NYJ & Tenn Bad loss vs. Cin (was at that game and disgusted). But...... Two games we had the ball in the last two minutes and could have tied NE. Ball in last 2 mins vs. Jax. NYG a game for the taking and a missed tackle in the fourth...... & KC again the ball and a chance to tie. This is the sign of a team that just doesn't know how to win. The Offensive play calling is just terrible and the hurry-up/2 min Offense non-existent. Add to that a D that just doesn't make consistent big plays and takes penalties. I could go on....
  13. It get's old. Sad that I'm over 50 and reading all this. Too many mistakes by too many people. Coaching, the defense, offence, use of challenges, timeouts, penalties, special teams, iffy calls..... Take your pick.
  14. There is no need for the ref to do the review. It should be a central location and seen in HD on large monitors. Really very simple.
  15. Said the exact same thing. It was not moving, and the bills needed two good plays called in the huddle as they wasted the first down on a draw. But expecting good play calling down the stretch is a joke. Remember both NE games, the NYG and the Jax games all of which were plagued by bad play calling in the 4th.
  16. All teams face challenges. Yes we are Bills fans and see only these errors. Point is they screwed up two simple ones.
  17. The difference between being aware, smart and not. Ben completes a long pass down the sidelines to Wheaton and it is very close. Ref calls it in bounds. Pitt is running up to get the play off so it can't be challenged and Seattle deciding whether to challenge. They challenge as the ball is snapped. Whether Carroll got the call in time or not, it was a snap judgement. Pitt on the other hand didn't want to take the chance and were trying to run a play. Call is overturned. The Maclin pass is the same thing. You throw the flag, I saw it as did everyone watching the replay. Diving 40 yard completions often hit the ground. In the first half Watkins catches a third down pass, which is a bang bang play and Buffalo huddles allowing Reid to challenge. Easily could have been overturned and Rex allowed them time to challenge the play. On the Hogan play it was now third down. Challenge the play (only one time out anyway and game is over if you give up the ball). Worst case is that you lose but have discussed third & fourth down with Tyrod. Last week vs NE and third & 6" from mid-field. What does Brady do everytime? Lines them up in no huddle and sneaks for an easy first down. Bills run a sweep, lose yards and kick.
  18. It's a 40 yard completion that looked 50/50 at best when caught. The first thing your thinking is whether it is a catch or not. You have the official's attention and the attention flag out. WGR is claiming the first CBS replay was with 15 seconds on the play clock and it was snapped with 11. You have to be ready.
  19. It wasn't that the Chiefs rushed to get a lay called and off following the Maclin catch. Lots of time to know a flag needed to be thrown. Heck the official wasn't even in position to make that call.
  20. How about a bunch formation or lining Watkins in the slot to get him the ball over the middle. 6 catches and all along the sidelines. And you wonder why it was easy to adjust the second half? At least it looked like Tyrod was looking to him the second half.
  21. And the refs made the right call and Carroll did not fool around and challenged it......
  22. The Maclin play was obvious immediately as was the Hogan catch. What was classic was Watkins made that challenged catch on the sideline and of course they allowed plenty of time for Reid to challenge. That was a 50/50 call. Manning & Elway would have run the next play to ensure no time for a challenge.
  23. They were easy calls to challenge. Automatic reversals and the Bills didn't even bother. Asleep @ the switch???? In any case the call should be made in a central location on 100" HD TV's. Going underneath the hood and protecting their brethren is just plain stupid. It is again a no brainer.....
