  1. Think about it...... Bills beat Indy & Miami twice handily. Wins vs. Houston, Tennessee, Dallas & NYJ and nothing really stands out in those victories. Losses vs. NYG, NE x 2, KC, Wash, Phi, Jax & Cincy Not a single edge of your seat exciting game all year though the Bills were in many into the fourth quarter and even then they all fizzled out. Few big plays, seldom stops, no exciting offense, lousy 2-minute play and adequate not an exciting passing game. Really can't think of a season so bereft of excitement.
  2. Alex Smith & Kaepernick is not what I want TT to aspire to. That unfortunately is a scary thought that he developed neither beyond their talents (Smith first pick & Kaepernick and his incredible physical ability). You coach a QB to make good decisions in a 2 minute offense and Roman has not.
  3. Yes and no, coaching is still involved. The glacier like 2 minute offense is pathetic. Take Philly, the entire 4th quarter there were opportunities and did not move the ball. The last possession started with a run!!!!! Then an incomplete pass, an offside and a stupid int on a long pass into double coverage when first downs were needed. Who called that play (and coaching tells you not to throw long)? Tom Brady and all qb's dink and dunk the last 2 minutes and move the ball. Long passes are only to players running free wide open...... That has to be coaching. The Bills needed only a FG for OT. Same vs. Jax with EJ, which shows to me, that it is more on Roman, as they barely moved the ball. NE they moved it 33 yards in 2 mins!!!!! The KC game they got thte ball 2X in the fourth and didn't move the ball (and forgot Sammy Watkins was on the field),
  4. Sure about that????? I only count 4 in year one and both playoff games (going ahead with :28 left vs. Atlanta, I'll call a comeback)...... I'd say that was impressive for a True Rookie..... In tear 2, 3 games they came back in the fourth and also beat SF in the playoffs. Why don't you??? Pretty obvious that the Bills did nothing in the 4th quarters of close games his year. And then let's not forget the 2 minute offense that was putrid. This as said I'm laying at the feet of Roman, but these are facts.
  5. The best game of the year for the D????? Oh yea and Roman opening up the playbook and 17 passes for Tyrod and 109 yards passing (yes he was good on the ground) against a bad defense. Let me repeat I blame Roman......
  6. And I'm saying the same thing. However Russel has led Seatte back multiple times and the team wins. We know about the D issues. The point I made is and I blame Roman is that the offense looks the same whether ahead or behind. The only time it looked different as when it was up 30 points and went to run mode vs. Miami x 2 & Indy. Heck down 21-0 to Washington and there was urgency. Oh and throw the ball to Watkins!!!!!!!
  7. The 300 yard argument is really very simple. The Bills will end the season .500 at best. They have lost 8 games and let's forget the defense for now as we are talking TT. He was the QB for 6 of those losses. 300 yards means first downs and the ball moving. The Bills lost those games being behind the entire second half (tied vs. Phil) in all the games and never took the lead (EJ & Jax notwithstanding). Think about that.... Behind and never ahead vs. NE x 2, Washington, NYG, Phil, KC and still no big throwing #'s. When someone posts about Russel Wilson as a comparative, and their run oriented offense, they forget that Seattle has won 11-13 games/yr not 6-9 and seldom came from behind.... I will repeat for now I blame Roman not TT.
  8. They were ahead and comfortably in 6 of their wins. Outside the first NE game and vs. Jax they scored very few fourth quarter points. And yes I do remember the Houston game (was there) and the winning td. They were never beiind the entire game and a blown coverage led to the winning TD (over the middle and YAC too).
  9. First was responding to PTR... Second I want TT to succeed and hope he does. I blame a lot on Rman. The point was there was not a single comeback this year and the Bills blew the KC game, should have beaten both NE & Philly too. The issues these games is Roman has a game plan (my opinion) that is predicated on the team always being ahead and no way of coming back. And way too many 3 and outs.
  10. But the bills had the balland in the 4th and never accomplished anything.
  11. Because the Bills lost to NE 2X, Jax & Cincy (EJ), NYG, Phil, Wash & KC..... The Bills did not come back once this year, nor had a fourth quarter comeback to take the lead (yes Jax). The Bills had the ball with a chance to tie or win with 2 minutes to go vs. KC, NE x 2, Jax & Phil and failed every time (and heck weren't close once in creating a drive). Wash & NYG games winnable too..... And as said I want TT as the Bills qb and an offense that highlights the best player Sammy Watkins.
  12. 300 yards is a random stat used by the NFL and the Bills are one of 2 teams this year not to have done it in a game this year..... And people are happy? I am 100% behind (and support) TT, but I don't like the passing offence, the lack of targets and catches by Sammy Watkins, YAC, passes in space, over the middle. Finally the Bills only looked good in games they won Mia x 2, Indy, NYJ, Houston, Dallas easily and/or never trailed..... They were lousy vs. Tenn & in every game they lost they did not show the ability to handle any adversity on Offense & were putrid in their hurry-up/2 minute offense. I blame Roman, but TT is not blameless when he ignores Watkins and the calls at the line take 25 seconds.
  13. 300 yards passing and coming from behind, which he's never done. Only time TT has looked good is in games the Bills dominated. Yes I m happy for the most part with his play, but overall it was a disappointing year. Rams are the only other team not to throw for 300 yards in 2015. The offense was better then expected, but the Bills completely underutilized their best player SW and they have a coaching staff still thinking that 70's football wins in 2015.
  14. In this league you need to be able to bring your team back and throw for 300 yards. I am very happy with TT, but he did neither of those once this year (resulting in a victory). Every good game was the result of the Bills controlling it from the beginning. And get the ball to Watkins!!!!!!!!!
  15. He is the Bills qb there is no arguing or debating the facts. For 2016 TT (and Roman) needs to work on the following: Clock Management Reading defenses Getting Watkins 10+ targets a game (again only 6 yesterday and barely looked at him) Throws over the middle Better reads on 3rd & short 2 minute offense YAC One thing I saw yesterday was actual different formations and movement on the line and by the receivers.
  16. All teams had bad calls during the season and the impact can be argued. Meant nothing but twice Sunday the announcers in the Seattle/Cleveland game were 110% certain and announced pass interference against Cleveland and no flag was thrown. This league is a joke when it comes to officiating. The PI I shrug my shoulder about, the roughing the kicker vs. NE, where they didn't even bother to show a replay (was in a bar and was wondering what happened). Watkins rolling out of bounds and they just walk off the field and no one is upset, KC and the Hogan catches and 3-4 steps, illegal picks, the lack of PI or a DB holding that benefited the Bills...... The list goes on and on.
  17. C'mon how hard is it to run a slant or a quick curl or a patter inside the lines vs. outside and toward the sideline? The playcalls are vanilla (to the naked eye).
  18. Again I blame Roman 60%..... This is why Whaley is upset. When you watch a pass play and TT doesn't notice at the line that Watkins is in a favorable matchup and all you ever call is Watkins up the sideline it is ridiculous. As said very few slants, over the middle or crossing patterns. KC is the perfect example. Torches them the first half (and again 0 YAC and all passes were at or near the sideline) and the then the second half they didn't change a thing and didn't even look his way..... As for the 2-minute and hurry-up ask Roman why it stinks and how they are clueless..... If it is TT, then yes it's a problem. The NE game they moved the ball 33 yards in 2 minutes!!!!! Vs. Philly they started with a handoff, stood around the line wasting 20 seconds, took a penalty and then looked anywhere but to Watkins......
  19. Again the problem is hat we can't be sure about Tyrod yet and how he was coached, his reads and what he is being told. The first 6 games he barely looked @ Watkins. The formations and play calling the second half seems to be the same almost every game. The long ball where Watkins outruns the defense. How many easy catches has he had? You know the crossing pattern in front of TT running clear, the simple 12 yard curl, a slant, an out...... Watch Odell, Julio, Antonio and the # of catches they get in space. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receivingYards/year/2015/seasontype/2 As always look at YAC and the big 3 all have approximately 30%+ of their yardage after the catch and Watkins only 13% (actually surprised it is that much as I can't remember any over 5 yards). Surprised that Hopkins hasn't many YAC either.
  20. Is it tyrod or Roman? They don't target him enough nor put him in formations to get the ball on the run. Always lined up outside and 0 yards after the catch.
  21. 30th in yards, 75th in catches, 61st In targets (huge jump the last two weeks with bad throws by TT and 175th in YAC... Still disappointing and a long long way to go.
  22. And to me Roman is to blame and Whaley, Watkins and some here 100% correct to be pissed at how he has been utilized.
