  1. No, not the knee injury itself but that the injury included all those ligaments. Hence the prior post I made:
  2. As it stands you have the Jets, Saints and Bears. Let’s say it’s just those 3, the Bears are by far the better option. A load of talent and potential that’s all on contract for a few years. The Jets are more dysfunctional from an organization standpoint than Chicago. The Saints are a mess. No money. Aging roster on massive deals that are hard to get out of and on top of that ownership is in limbo if, god forbid, Benson passes away. So that leaves alternative options to replace? McCarthy and the Cowboys? Antonio Pierce and the Raiders? Daboll and the Giants? Pederson and the Jaguars? If Cincinnati part ways with Zac Taylor that would be the consensus choice for him I’m sure.
  3. Great call! I forgot about that horrific injury too. I know a lot of people don’t like to quoth the Raven but I always liked his game. Guy was a monster for that Canes team. Think they definitely go back to back titles if he doesn’t get injured.
  4. Adrian Peterson is the only athlete I can think of who came back and succeeded after tearing multiple ligaments in a knee. That’s shocking and tragic for the guy. Prayers up!
  5. Damn. Here was all of us hoping they’d introduce “Ask the Audience”.
  6. Absolutely but surely he only leaves Detroit for a Head Coaching gig? If the wheels fell off Detroit this year a la Dallas, San Fran or Jacksonville then maybe but seeing as that didn’t happen it’s more likely he returns to the team if he’s passing up the HC opportunity again?
  7. He’s not been there for years? It was Canales last season then Coen this year after Dave went to HC for the Panthers.
  8. LMAO I think I may copy you on that inspiring level of effort. And in doing that I’m definitely joining you on the pizza front. Especially Detroit style. Can’t go wrong with peppers/jalapeños & pepperoni!
  9. If you go to the college pool, I like the guy from Oregon. NFL pool? What are the thoughts about Frank Reich, Byron Leftwich or Klint Kubiak (presume he won’t be retained after Allen got the can).
  10. Come on man… Theyre always right!
  11. Bernard was not good. Both him and Milano were borderline terrible. Right on with the defensive line observation. They need a guy that’s just a bohemeoth and eats up a double team as much as possible to allow the backers to navigate. On top of that, I think that would help everyone along the line, especially the guy next to him in Oliver as unless there’s a monumental trade (2nd rounder) I can’t see McD and the staff choosing to move on from Oliver. Especially not if he can repeat last years stats after signing the extension. The pool, as it stands right now, for free agents next season on the defensive line isn’t great. There’s a handful and they’ll likely get paid pretty well by other teams. I know Sean is credited for the play he gets from CBs but Benford is a must imo. Douglas has been up and down this year and while I like him I don’t think it will be an extremely team friendly deal he’s looking for. Best allocate those finances to 47. Groot is tough. Loads of talent but the sacks aren’t there for what you’re going to end up paying. I’m on the fence with that one as after him it’s an unknown seeing as Von is likely not returning.
  12. The amount of pre-snap motion the Rams used was insane. Virtually every play had it. On top of that, the amount of times they had stack or trips lined up for a 3v2 is insane. Lions do this. So expect Ben Johnson to use it as well. If I’m any of the offensive guys in the remaining 4 games, Ben Johnson/Todd Downing/Van Pelt&McAdoo, I’m abusing that motion and creating that numbers mismatch unless our defense can prove it’s not confusing or effective. Absolute clinic of abuse on the McD/Babich schemes and calls. It happened all game. For the amount we use double high or quarters, it’s insane there’s absolutely no press or attempt to chuck guys at the line. What’s worse is we played cushion and we’re still getting catches against us @ 10-15 yards.
  13. That’s fair and very reasonable. Like the comparison too. im a supporter of Sean but I’m gravitating toward that ideology. Can’t hang on to hope we’ll turn the corner if we’ve only been on the sidewalk (championship) once. Yet to be on the doorstep and ring the doorbell… it’s now or never to make it inside to the big dance.
  14. I had them scraping into the playoffs. In the pool at work I had, as crazy as it was at the time, 3 NFC North teams making it; Lions/Pack/Bears Ive watched most of their games on replay, there’s talent there it’s just not put in the right situations or calls. Like everyone suggests, cleaning house with that staff is probably best. Doing that, I wonder how their defense will play. For all the failings @ QB under Eberflus, that defense is quite good.
  15. I bought into the Bears hype. They’re a miserable watch.
  16. Serious questions, if McD and the team don’t reach the SB what do you do? What do you do if they do and lose? How long does he get if we are fortunate enough to see Josh and the gang hoist the Lombardi? 3 years? 5 years?
  17. He seems like the guy who wears the Self-Wicking Alpaca Wool type socks.
  18. He had Styx on his mind.
  19. Yes. I believe so. He’s been the lead guy for a few years now unless it’s changed.
  20. Wow. What a run. Great challenge by Taylor, horrible call by the official.
  21. “I must go. Krypton needs me.”
  22. Very true lol Chase is a menace.
  23. Crazy the Bengals aren’t eliminated from the playoff race @ 4-8.
  24. Where’s he playing though? He doesn’t diagnose quick enough to be suited for the Free role. Definitely suited for the Strong where he can be in positions that are reactionary. Right now Hamlin and Rapp are interchangeable between safety roles. That leaves him as a LB, he’s undersized and will get washed at that weight. Plus, you give Dorian the nod next to Bernard over him if it’s to replace, spell or supplant Milano. So where is the next option? Nickel DB? That still goes to Taron. Hands down. Even after his rough outing yesterday he’s still one of our best guys in the secondary period.
  25. JFC 🤦‍♂️ I would prefer something along the lines of pure transparency: “the defense was unacceptable and embarrassing”
