I don’t know which camp to put myself in as the #1 seed probably isn’t going to happen but, even if most of us deem it unlikely, KC can still drop their remaining 2 games. Pittsburgh will be playing balls to the wall on Christmas as they and Baltimore are standing at 10-5. That sentiment and mindset might be better suited if they beat the Steelers as its then completely unobtainable. Do we drop the remaining 2 games and finished tied with Pittsburgh and lose the 2 seed or Baltimore and lose the slot we are in due to H2H? Who knows. What I do know is, from a team perspective, “what is there to play for?” mode shouldn’t be a thing unless KC beat Pittsburgh AND beat the Jets. We can still, even if the chances are slim, can drop out of the 2 seed. F that man. F that for all the fans who have already got tickets to see our boys in any or both of the playoff games. Sure, I’ll get my money back but it isn’t a consolation to miss out on a/multiple playoff home games because they “mailed it in” too early.

Sounds like a win to me. Groot is our best DLineman, need to retain him. Shakir is an absolute must. Still a rising star in this league. McGovern, solid at the Center. Him and Edwards have been a great pairing for what appeared to be a potential concern starting the year. Benford absolutely gets the money if you’re giving it to any corner, hence why I agree against Douglas. That money will be pretty decent and better allocated to 47 staying with some finances sprinkled elsewhere. Love Jimbo. Think he’s an absolute game changer but if he’s not accepting offers we match from other teams or wants more than what’s on our table, you let him walk. Whilst we don’t know entirely what we have with Ray Davis, him and Ty Johnson have been very effective when on the field.

I agree with that but the situation, whether you like it or not, is he’s a depth player. There’s still some value there. Wouldn’t equate him outright as a bust but an over drafted choice. Irrespective of where we drafted him there is severely worse options on other teams around the league for their third, fourth of even fifth options. Will continue to support the guy as long as he’s on this team, starting or not. But that’s just me.

I get the complaints but don’t get the hate. The coverage is solid but he needs to start getting his head around as best as he can. He’s an ok corner. Not great, not terrible. Will give up some plays, will make some others. Can’t have blue chip talent at all 22 guys fielded as starters.

Defense showed up the second half when the offense did just enough. Not exactly thrilled with the performance but the outcome is a win and better than the opposite. The better teams in the league more often than not find a way to win when they’re playing badly.
