First Arthur Moats, Now Leonard Floyd, Anyone else I'm forgetting?
Saxum replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Moat ended Farve's playing streak not career. It could have been adrenalin. I was playing local football game and landed on forearm attempting to make a tackle. Got back up and continued playing. When game ended I relaxed and muscle on arm relaxed and it went from straight to a z shape. Broke both bones in it and did not notice. My mom was mad. -
If Bills did that what would stop other teams from replicating it? Biggest Bills disadvantage is front office whose marketing department sells tickets in bulk to ticket agencies and travel agencies who mark them up and sell them in packages to opposing fans. I have been contacted by them in past because I am on a NFL mailing list.

NFLPA renews call for natural grass on all fields after Rodgers injury
Saxum replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of the stadiums in Spain NFL has to choose from has grass and the other doesn't. If the home team selected for Spain has grass it actually is decreasing number of games with grass fields. Not sure why we care about Chad Kitchen who is out to prove that you can have CTE without playing football. -
Interesting ESPN article (re Allen): death of the deep ball
Saxum replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last season the excuse / reason was some balls were difficult to throw with his arm injury, -
Lambeau does not use a pure grass field. It uses a Desso GrassMaster mixture of artificial and real grass. https://www.packers.com/news/new-turf-ready-to-welcome-packers-into-2018-season https://www.stadiumsofprofootball.com/ File below is an Open Office spreadsheet, a composite from multiple sources sorted by field type. Each single source I found was out of date or had mistakes. if anyone wants a copy send PM to me with email.

You could say same thing about Cheats being drubbed on opening night by Bills. Single games especially openers can be due to a lot of reasons especially players not working together before. It is easy to do with posters flipping back and forth on position which is made worse by those who goal appears to be able to say "I was right" ever time something goes wrong. They would have issues with a 51-3 win in Superbowl for defense allowed them to score.

Rodgers out for the year (UPDATE: Rodgers wants to return for playoffs)
Saxum replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
And Rodgers actually gave back money when he restructured contract and apparently he had significant input into coaching staff and offense players which is something they would not give him in Green Bay. I have been wondering if he stayed (Green Bay did not have much choice with dead cap cost) would same thing happen and it was just a part of his body weakened from all of the games. Packers are my 2nd / NFC team and I always thought they did not give him enough resources there. -
NFLPA renews call for natural grass on all fields after Rodgers injury
Saxum replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall
NFLPA is supposed to be partners with NFL - are they going to contribute? Only way natural grass will work (if you expect grass in December) is for Packers to get a stadium like the Vikings. -
Could it be Adam Henry does not know how to turn him from a college WR to a NFL WR? Phil McGeoghan had that issue with comments from receivers. I have spoken with Moulds - he is not just a physical specimen but someone who knows the game and what you need to do to get better.
-
It has surprised me since he seems to be doing the right things even training with Eric Moulds.

Maybe Chan Gailey should be hired as a Senior Offensive Consultant and help our OC develop plays. Miami leaked to press he was going to be let go but then evidently changed their mind and then Chan retired; he apparently was offended by whatever Mijami was doing. A Senior Offensive Consultant could work remotely and not be required to travel to games.

https://www.krqe.com/sports/sports-illustrated/b2fea402/jets-safety-jordan-whitehead-made-a-cool-250k-with-his-three-ints-vs-bills/ Nice to see someone getting paid for making good plays rather than guaranteed money which they get even if they do not play well. Would rather it be a Bills player though.

Was Josh Playing Hero Ball or Was i Imagining Things ?/
Saxum replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
When things stopped working he went back to "hero ball" making long throws when the Bills could not make multiple plays to advance down field. This resulted in interceptions which put more stress on defense. -
I can see why someone who does not follow rules would think that is a compliment.
-
Defense figured out Josh will not take the easy throws. Last year he could blame it on arm injury making certain throws difficult.

Of course Tua is better than Allen - i.e. falling down when sacked - he had lessons in offseason just like T*m Br*dy had lessons in offseason in acting to help with whining to officials. He is the GOAT on that as you may have heard. Well if you want people to know what your original title was you could put it on first line since Simon is simply doing his job, Also since you posted many times after since Simon changed previous time he is no reason to give you leeway. You will soon get the T*m Br*dy aware for whining.

We need a "Pray" response.

Jason Peters sets record - oldest practice squad player
Saxum replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has not played RT with any regularity since he played for Buffalo. He was inserted into game for Dallass when starting RT was injured and then backup Josh Ball was ineffective. Josh Ball (sounds like our offense) however has been kept and Jason Peters went on to Free Agency. As a starting RT? Not a good idea. Backup LT on PS able to elevated? Maybe. He will need time however to get into game shape since he skipped OTAs, training camp and preseason.
