Missed the earlier conversation. I understand the sentiments of the defense failing Josh in 13 seconds. But Mahomes also won that game. So you gotta give credit to him there. This past bills chiefs game, I definitely thought josh played better than Mahomes. Our defense was just too beat up. But in the end, all that people will look at is who won and who lost the game. All the minute details will be forgotten by most next season.

I don’t think anyone, outside of Baltimore fans, would rather have Lamar as their QB than Josh. To me it’s pretty clear that Josh is the second best QB in the nfl behind Mahomes. Once Josh starts beating Mahomes in playoffs and getting some hardware we can reevaluate that comparison. But Lamar belongs nowhere near this conversation

Obviously not nearly as big as these, but the game Lindell missed on a wide right against Cleveland (I think it was probably 2008) was a pretty brutal way to lose that game as well. Agree. That was just plain stupidity from a strategy standpoint and players not thinking and acting on their own realizing the strategy is stupid. That loss is still so frustrating today. Unbillievable

Agree. When writers reference pro bowls as credentials for HOF consideration, I find it completely bogus. All-Pro is the only thing that means anything outside of SB wins and individual statistics.

Totally agree. First pick should be WR. 2nd and 3rd picks should probably be safety and DL. Fourth I’d go WR again. We need weapons to fill out our room. Sherfield and Davis are gone, Harty will be cut. Isabella cannot be our 3rd WR. We need an infusion of young, fast talent.

It’s unfortunate that they don’t carry mvp votes to include postseason performance, because Lamar absolutely doesn’t deserve it. You can gameplan to shut Lamar down or minimize bis impact. You can’t gameplan for people like josh, Mahomes and CMC

I’m afraid this is gonna be the excuse used when the season starts off rough and our offense isn’t producing next year. That and it’s a new system, give it time. Hopefully I’m wrong. But the one thing we don’t have on our side is time with josh Allen only gettin older.

I gotta say, McD did a heck of a job with the defense the second half the season. Especially with how battered our defense was. Our defense performed better than the ravens at this point in the game and the ravens are at full strength.

This ravens defense is gonna get worn out if they can’t get off the field. Certainly not looking like the number 1 defense in football thus far

Chiefs remind me of the cardinals and saints teams that went to super bowls. Both teams limped into the playoffs then turned it up a notch. I really think Lamar will get exposed today. He won’t be able to carry the ravens like josh does the bills

Hamlin is not the answer at safety. Tbh, the only reason he will make the team next year is because if the lack of talent we have on defense. He isn’t even a solid ST player. We need at least one new safety via FA and one via the draft. And to be fair, I trust McD and Beane can find the right guy to fit our defense. Let’s not forget Poyer wasn’t a big name or star until he came to Buffalo.
