Just like the Houston game was a great rebound?

I know Allen had monster stats today, but I certainly don’t think he played his best game of the year (I think Jacksonville was his best game). Look at Burrow, he consistently has gaudy stat lines without the wins. Yes Josh had a great stat line, but early on during pivotal moments, he was not efficient and the offense had to punt the ball. We all know about the punt block. But based on how our defense was playing, those middle 8 minutes were essential to cash in on at least one of those possessions, if not two. And we didn’t get either. Josh had a great second half, but the first was very average. Gotta start out faster in shootouts like these. btw I’m not blaming josh exclusively. That mostly belongs to defense. But Josh isn’t blameless in this loss

They’re at the end with three timeouts, you gotta throw it to the end zone. Can’t afford to lose those timeouts. That was our best chance of getting the ball back. Were those chances high based on how our defense was playing? No. But it certainly was better than counting on an onside kick

This sounds like something we would say in the drought era. That was a bad loss. Offense, including Josh didn’t play particularly well in the first half which got us behind. And the defense was atrocious. Literally only got one stop all game which wasn’t enough. the worst part is we couldn’t even get a single dip during the middle 8. Going into this game the rams had one of the worst special teams in the league, and we gave up a big return and a blocked punt for a Td. They were also one of the worst on third down conversions and they converted 11 of 15. gotta hand it to the rams. They played an excellent game offensively and one the special teams phase of the game. The great Doug Marrone once said if you win two phases of a game, you should win overall. That played out today. 1 seed got that much further away. And now we are gonna be fighting for the 2 seed.

The good news is this shows how much our team needs Allen in terms of MVP. Because otherwise this game would be way over. that being said. I don’t know how the d gets a stop

All we need is one stop from this defense. Rams have played a perfect game. Only thing that stopped then I the first half was the end of the half

Give Allen one more drive. If no TD. Then bench the starters.

Gotta force a FG. Although if I’m the rams I go for it on fourth to put the dagger in us

No one in the d line is making a play. And our secondary is getting shredded because of it

I mean he was keeping pace early in the game because he missed some throws.

Oliver has been bad this year. Daquan Jones too. I can promise you our first or second round pick will be spent on a DT

Stafford is just hitting all the right spots today. Great throw after great throw. And his receivers are coming up with the plays. Even when we have good coverage.

Ed Oliver has been a disappointment this season. Really not providing a whole lot all season.

Start blitzing for crying out loud. We need to get pressure. What we are doing ain’t working.
