  1. If the defense has been getting gashed all game I don’t see how that would change in OT
  2. I don’t want to put the cart before the horse, but I have a feeling some individuals at One Bills Drive reads this board and pulls some info from here. Maybe not coaches, but people close with decision makers. Anyways, with the new OT rules created post 13 seconds for the playoffs, I can’t imagine a scenario where you would ever want to receive if you win the toss. All the advantage lies with the kicking team. If you get a quick stop and force a 3 and out, you probably end up with good field position and the chance to win the game on a FG. If you’re defense is gassed and has been getting gashed all game, like we were in 13 seconds and the Eagles game this year (second half), then it allows you to maybe get lucky with a stop or a turnover. And if the opponent ends up scoring a TD, you know your team also needs a TD. On top of that you have four downs on each set of downs as well. If you score a TD, go for two and end the game without having to put the onus back on defense (control your own destiny so to speak). Does anyone have counterpoints to this? Reason why I bring this up is because I think we’ve all seen how it seems as though the kicking team has the advantage in OT this year. On top of that, we suck in OT under McD. Hope McD picks up some pointers and can apply them if we are fortunate enough to make the playoffs.
  3. On point number 6. I definitely agree with Rapp. Dude scares me to include for our own players safety. Dodson being penalized was unfair I thought. Dak was still running and looked like he was about to cut inside. I mean he barely started the slide process and he was basically on top of Dodson. QBs, if they want to be protected, need to slide to allow an appropriate amount of space and human reaction time to the defender. Same thing goes for QBs running out of bounds.
  4. Jake Browning also got very lucky on essentially a Hail Mary to Tee Higgins. If the defender in the area made a competent play on the ball that wouldn’t even be a TD. I think Browning will come back down to earth when browning is asked to go toe to toe with a competent offense
  5. Wonder what that doofus is gonna say about josh. Of course josh didn’t win the game yesterday but nick will spin the win in a negative light
  6. Hate to be that guy. But I wanted him gone after last year. Was evident he didn’t have the ability to call a good flow to the game and adjust. Pretty much from the GB game on.
  7. Really hoping our players don’t catch whatever sickness was going through the Dallas locker room this week
  8. I hate to say it, but their penalties definitely turned the game in the bills favor early. The roughing the punter, roughing the passer and the hit on Shakir. Any of those aren’t called, totally different game IMO. That’s how much impact the refs can have on a game
  9. I don’t foresee the ravens beating the dolphins. Ravens are the 2020 Steelers
  10. Zay Jones can finally catch. Wish he did that for us against the panthers back in 17. Trevor Lawrence wants to be a playmaker but doesn’t have any elite trait. Doesn’t help when he leaves points on the board
  11. Playoff thing will work itself out. As long as we win out that’s all we can do. I’m not concerning myself with all The scenarios because there are too many.
  12. The fact this thread only has 11 pages 2.5 hours after the game shows that fans dont have anything to complain about (refs, playcalling, etc) So I’ll complain. Wish Cook caught that TD cause he deserved it especially on that drive. This was such a good game because the coaches basically stuck to what worked and didn’t try to get tricky and make themselves look like the smartest guy in the stadium. Just kept running Cook. I was actually surprised not a single holding call was made all night. Feel like that is pretty much routine for us to see 2-3 a game
  13. Let’s pump the brakes on that statement. Pats have beat us this season already. But yea, if we play like today, we can beat anyone in the league
  14. This is more dominant than our WC win over the pats
  15. Fair enough. We will see what this second down brings.
