Funny, and I get it, but this one kind of makes me sick to my stomach, as I sit here with a pup and a soon to be three year old Golden at my feet. I get it, it’s personal and to each their own. He did his time, he should have opportunities. It’s just not my flavor. 🤷‍♂️

I was responding to your assertion that Mars is an impossible goal for “stupid people” to dream about, and you responded about the premise of eternity. You can’t just change the topic like that and not expect a response. I’m not even sure the universe will last for eternity, therefore humanity stands no chance of eternity. But I’m just stupid enough to not rule out what mankind might accomplish while we are still around.

We are one bad hammy or sprained ankle away from the next guy. If that is a close decision that is not a terrible situation, because you may need the next guy on the next play.

I didn’t LIKE it, but I had no question of ethics. What does the contract both sides signed allow? That’s all that really counts when you get down to it. Loyalty to your team is never expected when athletes talk about their money. They always say it’s a business, you do what you think is best for you and your family. And I won’t even kid about loyalty to fans.

Everyone has the option to take the best offer. If that is the best offer, it’s their decision. That’s why they all want $$$ upfront and guarantees, but if nobody else is offering more, the market has spoken.
