Because it is Canadian Thanksgiving, I have been instructed by my Wife that I am reduced to the role of only making side dishes to the capon I sourced for her and she subsequently brined. No problem I figured since I can harvest the potatoes, beets, spinach, lettuce, carrots and sweet & hot peppers I grew this summer. Nope. I harvested the potatoes and power washed them apparently for my daughter to make a side dish for. Anyone got any good recipes for beets? Spinach? FML

James Cook Accused Of Running Out On Nightclub tab 🥃
HIT BY SPIKES replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Somewhere Marshawn Lynch is just shaking his head & thinking James Cook is some kind amateur.... ....Lynch seems to have this superstar ego where he doesn't understand that he has to play by the same rules as everybody else. He didn't understand why the cops would give him a hard time for bringing his own alcohol into a bar. He doesn't understand why he would get pulled over for pumping up his stereo to levels that 99% of the community would find annoying to the point of being rude. He doesn't understand why other people in his condo can own a dog, but he's not allowed to own a pit bull..... https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/6/3/1497064/an-argument-for-trading-marshawn -
Looking for 4 tix to Seahawks game??
HIT BY SPIKES replied to nemhoff's topic in Bills Tickets and Gear
I am looking for one single as well. -
I have never seen that before. $85 isn't ridiculous however they are going to no doubt provide me with some popular commercial beer after I have been drinking some of the best Craft IPAs in the world in Portland and Seattle so that ain't going to work for me. On the road, I am more a walk with a 12 pack of high end local Craft beer and a few pounds of local meat until I see a friendly Bills group who say "where you from bro and do you want to borrow our grill?". I hear you on the busy Saturday night Bills bar and I might give that a pass however I should at least explore that option if it is close to where I am staying.

Flying to Seattle from Toronto on the Tuesday and then taking the train down to Portland for 3 nights before coming back by train to Seattle on the morning of Friday October 25th. Just wondering if there is Meet Up on the Saturday Night and where my Bills Brethren will he tailgating prior to the game.

I have said since his second year that Dawkins is a good LT however will NEVER be a great LT because he does not have the off-season discipline to improve his body and his craft. How many years when training camp begins has there been observations that he is overweight? His personal covid strategy based on the esteemed medical advice of Dr Beasely resulted in him being in the hospital. He seems more concerned with growing his BIG off-field personality rather than his game. Whatever.

10/6/24 GAMEDAY Week 5 Bills at Texans PREGAME THREAD
HIT BY SPIKES replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
No doubt this game will be a sizeable challenge and like last week THE key will be whether or Front 7 can stop the run. It would sure help if the game narrative was us jumping to an early lead rather than the Texans since if they get the lead they can run the ball down our throat. -
Buffalo’s Best Stuffed Banana Peppers: Bobby J’s Italian American Grille Stuffed banana peppers are a Western New York specialty, and Western New Yorkers have voted to say the stuffed banana peppers at Bobby J’s Italian American Grille are extra special. “It’s really truly an honor,” said Bobby J’s co-owner Bob Desiderio about his restaurant’s Buffalo’s Best win. “I have to thank everyone from all over Western New York who voted for us!” Those loyal customers keep demand high for the signature stuffed banana peppers. On a typical Friday or Saturday, Bobby J’s serves up hundreds of them each night.... ...They’re made with locally-made ricotta and several imported cheeses, plus bread crumbs, fresh basil, and garlic, cooked up to order in piping hot extra virgin olive oil and served with blistered grape tomatos and crusty Tuscan bread. The banana pepper itself is grown on a local farm. The Desiderios describe them as “semi-hot”. “Mother Nature plays games with them once in a while. Sometimes they can be a little bit hotter than other times,” pointed out Bob Desiderio. “I like spicy food,” Jason Desiderio added. “So I mean once in a while they get pretty hot and when you put the roasted garlic on and the fresh Italian bread, it’s like a match made in heaven.” The recipe has been handed down through the Desiderio family..... https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/buffalos-best-stuffed-banana-peppers-bobby-js-italian-american-grille/
