Just gave the pork ribs and beef short ribs a turnover in their marinating freezer bags at the back of the fridge. Smell awesome. Early tomorrow morning I will go purchase whatever I don't have in the kitchen for the Kansas City BBQ Sauce and some large Russet Potatoes for the accompanying fries. Weather for Sunday Morning is forecast to be sunny and beautiful so smoking the ribs on the Big Green Egg is a go.

I am doing KANSAS CITY BURNT ENDS. I had them in 2008 when my youngest son and I had a sports trip to Kansas City -- Friday = Div 6 High School Play-off Game + Saturday = K-State Game + Sunday = Bills Win -- and started off the trip by driving straight to Arthur Bryant's from the airport. https://arthurbryantsbbq.com/ I am going to loosely go off this recipe ==>. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/arthur-bryants-burnt-ends-recipe-1942462 The weather forecast is for sun and a high of 11C/52F on Sunday so I may use the electric smoker with pear wood or use the smoker system for the Big Green Egg with hickory pellets depending on the wind. What's on your plate for this HUGE game?

No. 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Previous ranking: 10 The Irish have not been tested since they played Louisville at the end of September, having beaten their past four opponents handily -- including hapless Florida State 52-3 on Saturday night. Notre Dame has relied on a strong running game to power through to victories, but if there is one area where it has to improve to not only stay ranked but have a shot in the playoff is the passing game. Riley Leonard has not had to do much here -- he actually leads the team in rushing -- but in the only loss of the season to Northern Illinois, he struggled and threw two interceptions. On the season, he has only nine touchdown passes, and only twice in nine games has the longest completion of the game been more than 40 yards. -- Adelson https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/42270041/2024-college-football-power-rankings-week-11-top-25-teams

We play the Pats twice in our last 3 games. Our starters will be very well rested for the playoffs. If we can also get the bye that the #1 seed gets, that could be almost a month of rest. Perhaps that is why the Bills are holding out hope for Milano. NOT sure if that schedule good be any more favourable for Von Miller be a rested playoff difference maker.
