  1. “Speaking for them.” Haha, in defending them you implicate them. Maybe you can find a Peruvian in Cleveland who are a guinea pig. Close enough.
  2. Loomer is threatening to sue Bill Maher for suggesting she’s having an affair with Trump. Streisand Rule applies…
  3. You know how some fool will call a wager a “stone cold lock?” 99.9 percent chance of winning? Run away from that fool. No such thing in the NFL or in today’s presidential elections.
  4. Debunked or Debanked? Unpresidented!
  5. No different than Trump's own sources - "I saw it on the TV." Or for Tarheel, "I saw it on the internets." Oh, well, sorry to have disparaged an entire community of white trash when it was just ONE speaking for them.
  6. Or him FOR Worthy. If I were KC, I'd do it and find a way to move some salary.
  7. Fitzy really got it perfect in the post game. He didn't urge any particular outcome. He just said he knows Tua as a fine man with a growing family, and that obviously the decision on whether or not to come back (if cleared) will take into account his continued life outside of football.
  8. No, but I believe an independent neurologist could opine that he cannot be cleared to play, and that there's no real expiration date on that. In other words, never cleared = effective medical retirement?
  9. Bass clearly did the hand to the chest "that one's on me" gesture after the miss. So it doesn't matter if it was tipped. He recognized that he didn't hit it cleanly/high enough to make it.
  10. Don't spoil his fun.
  11. Endorsements are generally silly and pointless. The Taylor Swift endorsement is coupled with a voter registration drive, and given the heavily Democratic lean of her fans, it may have some impact at the margins. Which could, of course, turn a swing state where the candidates are within .01 percent of each other. Now tell me what Antonio Brown will do for Trump. Is the Insane Run Around With My Shirt Off demographic energized? Oh, and now compare Laura Loomer's photo with Taylor Swift's ....
  12. What an eloquent spokesman for Mr. Trump. I can see the needle moving toward Trump as he speaks. What would Lee Da Vinci say? #PunchDrunkBlackMenForTrump
  13. So there you go. One weird lady speculated about Haitians eating cats and dogs. And it became Trump's go-to talking point in a his only debate against Kamala Harris.
  14. So let's see where we are. Haitians apparently aren't eating your cats and dogs in Springfield. But some sketchy video says an African immigrant (close enough!) in Dayton (close enough!) may have put a dog/cat looking animal directly on a cheap ass grill. Close enough...
  15. How this clown became a "serious" Fox News commenter says a lot about Fox News. He was Bill O'Reilly's comic relief ... If Bill hadn't been on tape urging a Fox employee to use the falafel on him, he'd still be doing those segments.
  16. Yes and no. There are tons of lower level criminal gang members who aren't exactly living the high life in Haiti. Plenty of stories of mostly chickens being involved in voodoo/santeria practices in Miami. I really don't know of anything involving domestic pets ... Besides, these Springfield stories seem to be more about killing and eating geese, etc., for food. Hey, Hemingway as a poor struggling writer bragged about how he'd catch pigeons in Parisian parks, take them back to his apartment, and cook/eat them. That wasn't voodoo, it was survival ...
  17. Yes, and this is the environment all of these Haitians are trying desperately to escape. Could there be human rights violators amongst them? Sure. Probably are some, and they're tough to weed out. Interesting story from about 20 years ago: a Haitian government human rights abuser was identified by some of his victims in Orlando. What was he doing there? Probably got asylum through fraudulently misrepresenting his past in Haiti. He was working a a boat pilot in Walt Disney World. WDW described him as a good worker; they had no knowledge of his true past. https://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/01/15/crime.haiti.reut/index.html
  18. "illegal" vs. "legal" - I mention that in these Haitian threads only because people keep saying "Haitian illegal aliens," which is probably (from a legal perspective) wrong. I don't think it matters when we're talking about Springfield, OH, other than to point out that they are allowed by federal law to be there. As for Haitians in general: I disagree about assimilation. It typically takes a generation, but I think that's pretty unfair about Haitians. Take a look at the NFL players with French surnames; they're typically Haitian, and they're fully "assimilated" to the United States. New arrival Haitians: remember they're from an extraordinarily poor and extraordinarily dysfunctional society. Despite that, they tend to be productive, taking the classic "jobs Americans won't do." They are also typically very poorly educated (not surprising given the economic situation there). Ask away about cultural practices, etc. Either I have some direct experience or know people who do.
  19. Because her answers were so amazingly good. And Trump's were so amazingly wacky. That's all the proof I need.
  20. I’m sure you are first and foremost in his mind right now.
  21. In this wagering mad world of today, Al Michaels sly betting references fall flat.
  22. So what QBs are in the trade market? Zack Wilson? Are street free agents? Where’s Flacco? Because even if Tua comes back in 4 weeks they are in deep doodoo with Skyler Thompson.
