  1. Fair criticism on a lot of his passes. On those deep 50/50 balls, it's kind of like Allen putting it in the vicinity of Diggs and expecting that Diggs will win that battle. As they say, there's a reason CBs are playing CBs and not WR.
  2. 50/50 ball. Plus the chance of a PI call. Plus it puts the Browns deep in their own territory. I don't think it's terrible to take that chance.
  3. Well, here we disagree. I guess Kaepernick, who went to the SB and damn near won it, is the best proof that a run oriented QB can go deep into the playoffs.
  4. I'm glad they actually followed their own damn standard of review. I think it's 60% likely the ball touched the ground. "Clear and obvious" ought to mean something more like 80 or 90 percent.
  5. There's no doubt the bias against black QBs and the bias against running/scrambling QBs were kind of intersecting Venn diagrams for a long time. But not anymore. it may be time to retire that whole talking point.
  6. I'm gonna go Andy Dalton. But an unlovable Andy Dalton.
  7. People have taken me to those Maryland crab shacks on multiple occasions. You get the bucket of crabs, the little hammer, the tweezer things to pull the meat out. I've always left hungry. I get about 1 oz. of crab meat for about an hour and a half of work. Wings >> Crab.
  8. I think the Colts are the best team in the AFC right now, but there will come situations where Wentz will have to win it and it's more likely he'll lose it instead.
  9. I think record in the division
  10. I watched the whole Broncos-Chargers game. It really wasn't even as close as the score. Broncos dominated them. Broncos are a team that as long as the QB doesn't do awful things (Drew Lock) are kind of coming on now.
  11. You mean like those little PFF ratings at the bottom of their profile pics in the introduction? Kind of a condensed rap sheet? Sounds like a good idea.
  12. This is what I mean about relaxing and just enjoying football every now and then. Not every good thing Lamar does is some kind of swipe at Josh.
  13. That's nuts ... 2 guys get a free run at him, he backpedals 15 yards and throws a TD pass. Guys, I get it ... we like Josh better, we're glad we got him instead of Lamar or Baker, etc, etc. But sometimes you just gotta sit back and enjoy the remarkable QBs (Mahomes, Lamar, Kyler, Josh) we've got in the league now.
  14. So maybe Lamar can make good things happen too?
  15. This may very well be true. I hope you're right. But isn't the first rule of rookie quarterbacking "first do no harm?"
  16. actually, this game shows the value of Mac Jones. 1. Take what the defense gives you. 2. Don't turn the ball over. 3. Let the defense do its job.
  17. And this Ravens team is the top seed if the season were to end today? Really?
  18. Kickers (well, Tucker) are too good now. I find nothing thrilling in playing for a half-ending FG. Nevermind. Lamar just proved me wrong.
  19. What I hate about it is that it was a depth pick. That's wonderful when you don't have any glaring weakness somewhere else on the field to address. But when you do (O line) you get a much bigger bang for your draft pick by going that route.
  20. Right. Landry running full speed to get loose is not going to get caught by any DT.
  21. Crazy sloppy game. And Jarvis Landry, hahah.
  22. Thank you. That's all the encouragement I needed.
  23. OK, should I pull the plug on this one and get outside (hey it's 65 degrees in Colorado today)? Or is a big comeback on the way?
