  1. Another version of @muppy banana post.
  2. Quite possibly the greatest athlete of all-time. RIP From his Wiki: Perhaps more impressive was his success as a multisport athlete. In addition to his football accomplishments, he excelled in basketball, track, and especially lacrosse. As a sophomore, he was the second-leading scorer for the basketball team (15 ppg), and earned a letter on the track team. In 1955, he finished in fifth place in the National Championship decathlon.[15] His junior year, he averaged 11.3 points in basketball, and was named a second-team All-American in lacrosse. His senior year, he was named a first-team All-American in lacrosse (43 goals in 10 games to rank second in scoring nationally). Brown was so dominant in the game, that lacrosse rules were changed requiring a lacrosse player to keep their stick in constant motion when carrying the ball (instead of holding it close to his body).[16][17] There is currently no rule in lacrosse that requires a player to keep his stick in motion. He is in the Lacrosse Hall of Fame.[18] The JMA Wireless Dome has an 800 square-foot tapestry depicting Brown in football and lacrosse uniforms with the words "Greatest Player Ever".[19]
  3. I agree with your points wholeheartedly, but 7-9 sacks would not be a breakthrough. He quietly had a sneaky breakthrough last season when he posted 8 sacks. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4362506/greg-rousseau
  4. Good stuff. Love that they get the rookies engaged in projects beyond the gridiron.
  5. It's a great story and a name that I've come to appreciate after initially dismissing it. I love that it gives our fanbase a distinct identity. In my job I meet people from all around the globe and I'm often asked if I'm part of Bills Mafia? On a related note, here is a great bit that stand-up Joe Pera did about the Stevie drop:
  6. Agreed, but I’ll bet you anything that when his contract is up, they will want to pay him tight end money and not wide receiver money.
  7. On the off chance that this isn’t satire, did you hear that the NFL held a draft last week and the Bills might have used a significant pick on a potentially generational TE talent?
  8. Took this picture this morning on Niagara Falls Blvd. Who’s going to tell them?
  9. I just thank the football Gods daily that the Antonio Brown trade was never consummated. #unansweredprayers 🙏
  10. Joe Girard III headed south to Clemson. https://www.on3.com/college/clemson-tigers/news/syracuse-transfer-joe-girard-commits-to-clemson/
  11. One of the very first players that I idolized as a child. Loved his “shaky arm “delivery. Those A’s teams were legendary. Rest in peace, Vida.
  12. Send a DM to Jeremy White of WGR 550 on Twitter. He was discussing it on the radio this morning and said that he has been told of a few private lots that will be available to RVs.
  13. If they are not, I hope that it’s because they decided to retire after winning three straight Super Bowls. On a related note, this is truly an amazing day. I firmly believe that it was fate that put Kathy Hochul in office to push this through and secure the Bills here throughout most of our lifetimes.
  14. Sure, no one else was risking the embarrassment after the Ti-Cats handled the Bills.
  15. In 1961, the Bills became the first, last and only AFL team to lose a game to a CFL club as they dropped a 38-21 decision to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in front of a crowd of 12,000. https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=NlcrAAAAIBAJ&sjid=j50FAAAAIBAJ&pg=3039%2C1390338
  16. If that’s not Belichik at a presser after a loss, I don’t know what is. The robots have won, people. They have won.
  17. Are you the Canadian influencer that announced the Williams pick?
  18. I think the fact that they took Luke Schoonmaker at #58 in the 2nd round, way above his pre-draft projection, is pretty compelling evidence that Kincaid was a real desire for them in the 1st.
  19. From Dane Brugler’s draft guide: BACKGROUND: O’Cyrus “Cybo” Torrence, one of four children, was born in Hammond, La. and grew up further north in Greensburg (close to the Mississippi border), living in a trailer with his mother (Demetrice), grandmother and siblings. His mother gave him the nickname “Cyborg” when he was young, which eventually evolved into “Cybo.” He played a few years of youth football, but it wasn’t love at first sight and he stopped playing in middle school. Torrence attended St. Helena Central High School and decided to give football another try, mostly because his weight (420 pounds at the time) was out of control and he wanted to get in better shape. After seeing some action as a freshman, he became a full-time starter as a sophomore and played both ways as the right tackle and nose tackle. As a junior, Torrence helped St. Helena Central to a 13-win season, playing right tackle and defensive tackle, and earned first team All-State and All-District honors. As a senior, he again played both ways and earned All-State and All-District honors. A three-star recruit, Torrence was the No. 145 offensive tackle in the 2019 recruiting class and the No. 64 recruit in Louisiana. Coming from a smaller area, he wasn’t highly recruited, but schools started to take notice during his junior season. Torrence received offers from Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama and Southern Miss, but no coaching staff recruited him more than Louisiana’s did. Towards the end of his senior season, Torrence received an offer from Georgia (to play on the defensive line), which was his only Power 5 scholarship offer. But Torrence was comfortable with Louisiana head coach Billy Napier and signed with the Ragin’ Cajuns. He was expecting to redshirt as a freshman, but an injury to a teammate in the 2019 season opener immediately thrust him into the starting lineup. After starting his first three seasons at Louisiana, he decided to enter the transfer portal as a senior and took visits to Auburn and LSU (he almost signed with LSU to stay closer to home). However, the opportunity to reunite with Napier, who accepted the Gators’ coaching job after the 2021 season, and offensive line coach Rob Sale, who coached Torrence at Louisiana for two years before spending the 2021 season with the New York Giants, drew him to Gainesville for the 2022 season. Torrence opted out of the 2022 bowl game and accepted his invitation to the 2023 Senior Bowl. STRENGTHS: Thick, wide-framed blocker with a massive wingspan ... large boxing gloves for hands to bounce defenders around ... bends well for his size to work himself under defenders on drive/down blocks ... shows the rotational strength to create torque and displace in the run game ... stays balanced on the move ... tough for defenders to escape once his vice grips latch on ... able to refit his hands and sit down to gain leverage in pass protection ... walks the fine line of playing aggressive while staying disciplined (zero penalties in 2022) ... his coaches rave about his competitive mentality and innate wiring as a worker (Florida assistant coach: “I wish all of our guys were as genuine and coachable learners as Cybo.”) ... weighed over 420 pounds when he started high school and completely changed his nutrition and life habits to carry a comfortable weight ... started 47 games over the last four seasons, including double-digit starts at both guard spots ... fifth offensive lineman to earn consensus All-American status in Florida history.
