  1. Simply stay in the locker room. Head to the airport. Say we were confused and thought (knew) the game was over?
  2. I've been going with an IPA and an Irish whiskey as a side. Not helping much though...
  3. The Mercy Rule is now and forever to be refereed to as the Peterman rule. Sit him down.
  4. So he's an average to below average passer. Not bottom five in the league. So I guess that means he is a viable starting QB. On a really good team, he is adequate. On a mediocre to below average team, he can't carry the team to the playoffs like a Favre, Brees, Ryan or Brady. I think that's what we have. So viable, yes. Ideal, no way.
  5. PeterMan, PeterMan, does whatever a PeterMan does. Throws the ball down the field, trusts his eyes and let's it fly. Look out, he comes the PeterMan!
  6. I know, right? I have been looking through the thread too! Gonna be one happy guy (hopefully not too happy! ;-)
  7. Rex comes in and changes to a D that doesn't fit our personnel. The Carolina good ol' boys arrive and do the same with the offense. Results are the same. I want to send OBD a copy of a book on Situational Leadership where leaders adjust their style to the needs of the employee and the situation. I think there are similarities and potential learnings.
  8. Gillislee is a healthy scratch on a good team.
  9. It really can't be much worse than the TT led offense we saw the last two weeks. Hopefully the line blocks for the kid and he has the chance to throw the ball downfield. I'm hoping he has a good day in CA.
  10. "At one point, the Saints called 24 consecutive rushing plays because there was no need to pass." Says it all. Bills are a laughing stock of the NFL. Run. Stop the freakin run. What could be more simple and fundamental to football at any level?
  11. Plenty of blame to spread around. We simply aren't a very good team. Our "D" played down to a solid division one program level. They should be ashamed to call themselves "professionals".
  12. I think that is what they did and the Bills still couldn't stop the run. TT could have been the QB and against our 8 man fronts, the Saints ran with impunity. This was the n=big excuse for our line not being able to run against 8 in the box. 24 straight runs daring us to stop the run and we couldn't. Very sad.
  13. Bingo!! Most would rather trash TT, but the Vikings are 7-2 behind Casey freakin Keenam! There is so much more to football than just having a great QB. Unfortunately, we have a dearth of talent on both lines in addition to a below average QB. That said, might as well give The Peter Man a shot...
  14. We can, if Peterman can play both ways...maybe at LB?
  15. We need to run the ball effectively and win the battle in the trenches on both sides of the line. Keep DB off the field as much as possible and pressure him when he is. Run, stop the run. Seems like a tall order after watching the game last week.
  16. I don't completely disagree with your premise, but we all used to harp on TT because he didn't use his TE enough. When all the talent left Buffalo at WR, the plan was to get Shady more involved in the pas game. So now he is using both and we're not happy he isn't using his WRs more? I'd also like to see him with a little more time to throw before his pocket completely collapses. With decent protection, WRs may become an option again. Especially KB. TT willl need to trust KB to make plays even if he isn't wide open.
  17. Didn't look like quitting to me so much as having a lack of intensity and desire to hit people. Too much clutch and grab and trying to punch or strip the ball out. Short week, road game, poor preparation may have played a role? Gotta beat the Saints. Bring it!!
  18. Chances of SW re-signing with Bills? Zero.Zero
  19. No, no, no. We have a dome here now. Downtown. 72 degrees @ kickoff guaranteed! Your boys should have no problems throwing deep and running at will. Y'all should sleep in and arrive to the game late. Have fun!
  20. If he fails to develop, then yes he was over drafted. He is very stout against the run and a solid contributor on DL. I wouldn't blame him for the lack of a pass rush overall. Our DTs get zero push and Hughes disappears for large chunks of the game. LBs, when they blitz, are worthless. Safeties are too far off the ball to really contribute. More stunts/twists may help the front four generate better pressure.
  21. Yeah, kinda feels like "been there done that" with Dennison...
  22. Well no, but my fantasy team may be done. Wilson, Lockett and Richardson due to injury and bye weeks will leave me 5-4 and likely out of the playoffs without a miracle! Thought they would be ok as they were at home.
